Crib Goch Outdoor is an independent outdoor clothing and equipment shop found in LLanberis and Beddgelert, in the heart of Snowdonia. Established in 2002 by Dylan Jones, a keen hiker who you'll find working at the Llanberis store, the original and largest of the two outdoor shops. 10 years on Dylan was later joined by his best friend from school and current business partner Pete Thomas, who you will find in their new outdoor shop in the picturesque Beddgelert. Crib Goch Outdoor provides the best outdoor clothing, equipment and accessories for hiking, walking, running, camping and bushcraft, we stock everything you and your dog need to enjoy an adventure in the outdoors. We stock a range of technical equipment from the world's best brands alongside a range of lifestyle clothing for your ‘rest days’. We’re more than just a shop. Our staff are an experienced and eclectic bunch of outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy the outdoors in a variety of different ways - most are local Welsh speakers whilst some have been drawn to the beauty of Wales and never left! We only sell kit that is fit for purpose and everybody’s adventure is unique, so do talk to us - in the live chat, over the phone or in store - and we will take the time to help you find the right kit that’s the right fit. Try speaking Welsh when you come in - “Syt wyt ti?” - “Iawn Diolch.” As you’re leaving - “Diolch yn fawr”, or a favourite… “Cadwa’r newid.” ;)

I have purchased a few items from Crib…

I have purchased a few items from Crib Goch, both online and in person in their shop in Beddgelert (which is lovely). I have always found the experience to be a positive one. Website is very user friendly, an excellent range of products and prices are competitive. Communication is mighty fine and I really appreciate that. Delivery is marvellous and all in all, I can highly recommend Crib Goch store.

Support independent!

Great sale price, even compared to the Big Baddie (Am*zon). Super quick dispatch, packaged well. I bought 2x pairs of Smartwool socks, which were not insignificantly larger than the advertised size, but that's my beef with Smartwool not this wonderful independent retailer ☺️

Customer service was great

Customer service was great, item quickly dispatched, return/exchange process was straight forward. Only let down was the courier that left my item at a different address, I appreciate this is somewhat outside of the shops control.
