I submitted my company details for a free credit check and subsequently received a phone call.
Although I was given the free credit check, the conversation that followed was an extremely unpleasant experience. Instead of simply explaining the results or the services being offered, the representative proceeded to lecture me about how I run my business.

He repeatedly talked over me and, when I tried to ask questions, accused me of arguing with him. When I eventually asked what exactly he wanted from me, I was told that I did not understand how I was running my own business and that it was “no wonder” my company was considered high risk because I was not using their services.
I found the manner of the conversation rude, condescending and completely unprofessional. I had requested a credit check, not an unsolicited lesson on how to run my business.
I was genuinely surprised by the attitude and tone used towards a potential customer. Based on my experience, I certainly would not consider using their paid services.

Very easy to use system. It provides a quick and informative response at a competitive cost. This in turn enables me to manage the financial risk of providing credit facilities to both new and existing customers. It also automatically updates me of any major changes in the financial circumstances of companies that i have previously requested a report on.

I am not very knowledgeable when it comes to debt chasing etc but the staff are always very helpful and patient as they take me through it step by step

I was looking for a simple company check report and came across Creditsafe.

Their website prompted me to enter my details, which I assumed was part of the process to generate and purchase the report. Instead, it turned out to be just an enquiry form.

The next morning at around 9am, I received a sales call. I explained clearly that I had already obtained the report elsewhere and asked for my details to be removed and for them not to contact me again.

Instead of simply accepting this, the salesperson started questioning me about what I needed the report for, where I purchased it, and then claimed that the company I used would not have up-to-date information and could be several weeks behind.

I repeatedly explained that I had already obtained the report, it had done the job I needed, and I was not interested in discussing it further.

I specifically told him that all I needed was a dated company report confirming that the company was still incorporated. I also made it very clear that I wanted my information removed and did not want any further contact.

The salesperson continued insisting and questioning me despite this.

Very poor customer experience. Once a customer clearly says they are not interested and asks not to be contacted again, that should be respected immediately.

The sales manager (Sophie Young) who dealt with my enquiry was lovely and very helpful. Made the set up an easy experience for me.

The reason for 5 star is due to being straight forward using the platform as well as renewing the membership, reports are easy to understand and download.
Mathew Davis the account manager is very helpful too.
All in all great experience.

Evan Jones called and was very helpful in resolving my issue with the company. I no longer use Credit safe, although I did use it when I had my trading company. He explained the benefits and convinced me to re-join. Initially, the price was higher than what I had previously paid, but after speaking with his manager, we agreed on a reduced price.

Dan Hayward is our main point of contact, and he has been dealing with our company for many years. Throughout that time, he has consistently been outstanding. I genuinely cannot praise him highly enough he is exceptionally professional, knowledgeable, reliable, and simply superb at what he does.

Dan is a real asset, and we have always been extremely impressed with the level of service and support he provides.
