CREATE Fertility - Birmingham Arvostelua 

I had a very bad experience with this clinic. I have hypothyroidism, and my levels were high, but they didn’t tell me to fix it before starting IVF. I spent a lot of money that was very hard for me to save, but the care was poor. They told me to wait for a phone call before taking an important injection, but no one called me. I felt they only care about some people and ignore others. I regret choosing this clinic and don’t recommend it to anyone.
My treatment was on 3 July 2023. I have hypothyroidism, and my TSH was 3.24, but I wasn’t advised to manage it before IVF.As I later learned that TSH levels should ideally be below 2.5 for fertility treatment.I was also left waiting for a critical injection after being told I'd receive a call, but no one contacted me.Given the emotional and financial cost, I expected better care. I hope my feedback helps improve future patient experiences.

The experience we had was a complete disaster, would not recommend CREATE to anyone, basically it is all about making money and no responsibility what so ever, we are completely heart broken we put our trust on them and it was ruined forever quit badly.

Create fertility made our dreams come true, we will forever be grateful for the nurses and doctors here and all the time and effort put into our experience.

Create Fertility in Birmingham were all lovely but sadly didnt get the outcome we expected. Everyone was compassionate and caring during the appointments

We had mild male factor so were advised to go for Mild IVF with ICSI. We were referred as NHS patients via GP and were happy with the level of service. We were over the moon our embryo transfer worked on our first attempt and everything looked fine on 7 week scan.

However, i had booked a private scan at 9 weeks and was given the most horrible news that there was no heartbeat and had stopped growing at 7 weeks and 4 days.

Absolutely broken and have been put off doing this again as this was our “highest graded embryo”.

My husband and I were saddened to receive Create's email of 10th April 2025 requesting that we pay for the storage of embryos.

Had they checked their records to the most minimal of standards expected of a private medical organisation, they would have noted that we no longer store any biological materials with them. We transferred out our embryos to a different clinic more than 12 months ago. This is because we were very disappointed with the service which they provided.

If we receive demands for money such as this in the future, we will be reporting Create to the information commissioners office for failure to maintain adequate records under GDPR.

My wife Mina and I had an incredible experience with CREATE Fertility Birmingham. From the very beginning, Dr. Nirmal Felix and the entire nursing team provided outstanding support, kindness, and expertise throughout our fertility journey.

Thanks to their exceptional care, we are overjoyed to share that our early pregnancy scan confirmed we are expecting twins!

We cannot thank the team enough for their compassion and professionalism. They made us feel truly cared for every step of the way. We feel incredibly lucky to have been in such wonderful hands.

Excellent service

We had mild ivf with ICSI last year at Create Birmingham and we now have the most beautiful baby boy. I can’t thank all of the team at Create enough. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and they did everything possible to make us feel comfortable and kept us well informed throughout the whole process. They were even able to provide advice, support and medicine after I was discharged from their clinic as my GP was unable to help me. We were lucky enough for this to be a free NHS funded round and I won’t hesitate to use Create for any treatment rounds we have in the future.

Absolute nightmare from the day we got referred to them. Referral was missing information but they couldn't tell me what so had to wait two months for that to be sorted.
Promised one thing and then told by another doctor no we don't do that. Worst part is their communication is shocking. Calling a call centre, fine they have been lovely but the clinic never answer, never call back when they say they will.
Felt like they just don't care about you, every time I asked a question about NHS treatment... It was like we were the first ones to ask, they never knew the answers. Asking for medication.. I'm still waiting for a prescription I asked for in August.
They gave false hope when it came to our second transfer success, caused no end of stress, anxiety and feel so let down. Made me feel like an idiot at the early pregnancy unit. Felt like I was just another payment. Only time they communicated was when they realised they'd messed up and suddenly wanted to know everything was okay.
Last follow up appointment things were going to change.. but here I am waiting for a letter almost 7 weeks later.
The only thing I can't fault is my treatment at the egg collection and two transfers as I was looked after very well. We know that the odds are stacked against us and I don't blame anyone for our failed transfers, I just cannot deal with the poor communication.
I am just so disappointed and broken by the whole experience.

Been trying to conceive for 2 years and its CREATE Fertility that have fulfilled our dream to have baby.

I got referred to Create Birmingham for my NHS treatment&i can honestly say from start to finish they did everything they could to help me. I had great communication from staff&phone calls back when I needed them.
Along the way I had some problems after egg collection but my consultant Dr Deepali did everything she could to make sure my frozen transfer would go as good as possible.
I can’t thank her enough for what she did for me during my time at create and I’m currently 8 weeks pregnant after my first frozen transfer. I’m forever grateful for the whole team at create who looked after me.
I thought the journey would be years long but thankfully was not.
Their main concern is to keep you safe during your treatment and deciding the best route for you. I know sometimes waiting for your body to heal and waiting a little longer can be frustrating but they truly say it for a reason.
What a great team you have at Birmingham, all the way from admin, nurses, health care assistants, theatre team and the consultants.

Our treatment with Create added a second daughter to our family. The process was challenging but we were well informed and supported by the team. Payment plan options made it possible for us. Great experience

We were under the care of CREATE fertility for a few years and have had two successful embroyo transfers, also 1 cancelled cycle and 1 failed transfer. The staff are AMAZING and very supportive.

Hi, I would like to thank Dr dutta and the whole team for helping us through the journey. The staff were amazing as always, as this was our 2nd embryo transfer which led to a successful birth of our lovely daughter, we are very blessed and greatful to all create team for their compassion and understanding. I can thoroughly recommend Create Fertility Birmingham! Communication was really important to me, having come from another fertility clinic whose communication was very poor. I never had to wait very long for a response to emails or calls, which made things a lot less stressful. The staff were all wonderfully kind and made a tough journey that much better. For that I’m so grateful! I’m also unbelievably grateful to Dr Datta for his expertise, which resulted in my beautiful baby girl. Although I often felt hopeless along the way, wondering if my specific fertility issues would stop me from having a baby, Dr Datta was always sure I’d get there in the end. Exactly the positivity I needed! He also welcomed my thoughts on which protocols to try (having done my own research), and made me feel listened to. Something else that was important to me. All in all, I would highly recommend Create Birmingham to anyone embarking on the IVF journey. Especially as they use a gentle approach. Quality over quantity! And this is coming from someone with low ovarian reserve (and a long list of other issues) but still managed to conceive on my second FET. 😊
