I ordered the bee flowers which were a total ripoff.The product was totally misrepresented. They were not hand made pottery, but a cheap massed produced resin that came with no stems and were truly ugly. I contacted the customer service sending them pictures of the website version and what I received. I wanted my money back. I was told to return the product at my expense to Hong Kong! Fortunately, I used Pay Pal and the reimbursed me for the amount paid. The website claims to have high rating from Trustpilot. This is definitely a case of bait and switch and buyer beware.

deceptive, bait and switch, advertising. You do not receive the product pictured but instead a cheap, poorly made knock-off. Company asks you to return merchandise to Hong Kong if not satisfied when merchandise is purportedly made in the US . Phone number and email linked to UK yet supposedly, it's all from the US. Huge scam

A complete scam. Was supposed to be individually hand-crafted, ceramic, etc. The website said like 5 times in 5 different ways that it was hand-crafted by an artisan, who was based in North Carolina. Received resin, Dollar Store quality mass-produced crap. The site said something along the lines of "if you're not happy, send us an email and we'll make it right." So I send them my email and they tell me I have to return the Dollar Store mass-produced crap to Hong Kong, at my expense, and THEN they will refund my money. Why would I ship anything to Hong Kong when the product I ordered was supposed to be from North Carolina? 100% fraudulent.

Rip off! Item was neither as pictured nor as described. Totally false and misleadingly described as made by artisans in the Appalachians. It was a fraction of the size (unless people next to it are 3 year olds whose hands hold it). 'Satisfaction guaranteed' involves sending it to Hong Kong. Buyer beware!

Complete rip off! I am very annoyed with myself for falling for this scam. I ordered supposedly hand made bee cups, made by a British potter, that she had carefully measured and developed over many years to the exact proportions for the bees to be able to drink safely. Stupid me! After waiting a few weeks ( with realisation slowly dawning), I received a horribly cheap and nasty mass produced resin flower set that are tiny and don’t even hold water, which was the whole point. I paid £29.99 for something worth less than £5! So infuriating! These are a complete lie. Scam company.

I always check out companies before ordering, but I was enthralled by the mission to save bees and support local artisans. The second I ordered I got a scam alert on my phone. Immediately cancelled my card but because it’s the purchase happened, I have no recourse except the chargeback. I think I won’t be using Shop anymore because they are not helpful. I know what’s coming. Stupid tax.

A repeat of what you will read from others: cheap mass-produced small resin flowers clearly NOT made by Dot or any one else. I am canceling their payment ASAP. Do not be fooled.

Great ad for Dot bee hotel claiming made in NC by old lady, etc. Expensive but for hand made it would be great. Received completely different item available on Internet for 1/3 the price, mass produced of poor quality. Site states 30 days refund and later 90 days to return but customer service says 14 days, your expense to Hong Kong and maybe you may qualify for is 25% refund. So fraud 3 ways at least. DO NOT BUY.

I agree with MANY other reviews. DO NOT order from CraftFolk. This is a bogus company making out to be quality crafts from cottage industries in the U.S. Today, I received the product I ordered, in this case, Dot's Bee Hotel, which was not what the picture showed and the narrative is false. The bee hotel was cheaply made and reeked of turpentine which would have definitely killed any bee who tried to lay her egg.
FALSE ADVERTISING. Read the reviews first! If I had done so, I NEVER would have ordered this product. BUYER BEWARE.
Product from China with return address in Hong Kong, even though it was shipped from Vernon Wholesale Club in Vernon, CA associated with multiple, potentially fraudulent online shopping scams.
Dispute the credit card charge.
This business needs to be shut down.

Did some digging... It seems the Dot story and photos are AI slop. I really want companies that do this to fail. Bad enough to create copycat products, but creating fake artists and fake life stories is just too much.

DO NOT order from this company. They do not work with local artisans and completely misrepresent their business, which is infact cheap, mass produced items from China which they funnel thru the UK to disguise that fact. They also use a substandard shipping agent that makes delivery errors.

As others mentioned, this was a bait and switch for the bee flowers. The packaging was terrible - flimsy boxes inside a plastic bag that were all crushed. Amazingly, 6 of 8 were not broken, only 2 were. They look nothing like the photos. Also no stakes were sent with them (it said they were to be included). I should have known better, I usually do my research and don't fall for something like this.

This is a fraudulent website pretending to deal with genuine artisans that don't exist. I'm usually very good at spotting these things so I am doubly mad at myself for being fooled. Cheap crap, not hand crafted. I'm going to see if my bank can help with getting my money back.

False adverting! Dot’s Bees Blossoms are a cheap resin nothing like what is described as a ceramic flower crated by a 64 year woman in the US.
Has to sent back to Honk Kong which cost more than the awful imitation. Definitely a bait and switch.

I bought the bee house after reading about "Dot". What I got was made out of plywood and staples with flimsy toilet roll
tubes inside. What a scam. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PL A CE. They are in China and falsely use a nice website to draw you in. I thought I learned my lesson.

Completely different bee hotel than what was ordered. Would post a picture. The story described a handmade and cared for teardrop hotel. This is a hexagon of death, with wood splinters everywhere

A friend recommended this friendly home crafted goods site. Not alot of products but great storie about the artsans who made them which is Bogus. Says ships in 2 days. It was 2 weeks & they were not local. GOFO shipping company delivered them. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SITE. YOU PAY MORE & GET LESS BACK.

I drank the Kool-Aide after reading about Dot's personal efforts of building bee houses with her years of learning about what works, and what does not. I'm out $102.00 for the three house deal. ABSOLUTE GARBAGE! I received three hexagonal pine boxes stuffed with crudely chopped off bamboo sticks. Some, due to knots/joints are completely blocked off for access! Some are so small that a piss ant could not make it inside. CHEAP CHINESE GARBAGE! Please learn from my experience. I have yet to hear back about a return authorization.
