California Pizza Kitchen is still one of my go-to spots everything we’ve tried has been consistently good, and their strawberry lemonade is a must. It’s honestly become a family favorite for pizza nights.

Today, I went to California Pizza Kitchen with my family. When we arrived, there was no host to greet us or seat us, and we had to wait several minutes before anyone showed up. Although the restaurant was not busy, our order took an unusually long time to arrive.

We ordered two pizzas, but one of them was incorrect and did not match our order. After another long delay, the correct pizza was finally brought out. Unfortunately, neither the waitress nor the restaurant manager offered an apology.

The waitress only came to our table once to take the order and once again at the end to bring the check. In most restaurants, servers regularly check in to ask if everything is okay or if anything is needed, but that did not happen here.

I understand that mistakes can happen in restaurants. This has happened to me before elsewhere, but in those cases, both the server and the manager came to the table, apologized multiple times, and even offered a discount for the inconvenience. Sadly, that level of professionalism and courtesy was completely missing here.

I was very disappointed by the staff's rude and indifferent attitude. I am leaving this one-star review specifically because the employees at California Pizza Kitchen lack basic customer service skills and did not apologize for their clear mistake. I will definitely not be returning to the Cool Springs location.

• Customer service is just as important as food quality, and unfortunately, both were lacking during our visit.
• This experience did not meet the standards I expect from a restaurant of this brand.
• This location clearly lacks proper staff training and basic standards of hospitality.
• A simple apology would have made a big difference, but none was offered, so based on this experience, I would not recommend this location to anyone.

Pizzas average but that’s not the point, it’s good for the price. Thing that bothered me is I rang the guy like usual, told him my address, he hung up on me no explanation, I thought okay maybe it’s the line as he’s delivered multiple times before. I kept ringing thinking it was an accident, phone kept cutting off. I thought maybe the phone line was down… no. He didn’t want to deliver so he just kept ignoring my call and hanging up. I still wasn’t aware of this until after.
I got through he answered not knowing it was me, I put no called id on as my friend got through easily when I asked her to try. He answered the phone I gave my address and then he said “no I’m not delivering that far” blunt no manners. I said fair enough but you shouldn’t have kept putting the phone down without telling me that it was an issue I’m paying for the food it’s not as if I’m getting it for free, and it’s rude and time wasting as I’ve been trying for ages. Honestly I was frustrated but gave the benefit of the doubt waiting for him to continue but no he then hung the phone up AGAIN. So safe to say, never going back and never recommending. What’s the point of it being cheap if the service is shitty? id rather spend an extra £10 to have good service at dominos.

Stale bread for sandwiches. Obviously stale or frozen and warmed to mask that the bread was not fresh. Specifically requested "do not warm my sandwich" but after four times when ordering on each separate occassion and being ignored and still serving stale bread for sandwiches, I never went back and never will. BTW: CPK was one of my favorite "go to" places previous to using stale bread I went there often.And three of the four stale bread episodes were one in the restarant and three others to go orders.

Hate frozen pizza but hubby likes it...so...I bake it. But they tell you, put right on the rack...no different than putting on pizza pan, the crust will still burn around the edges either way before the middle is done! UGH!

I like California Pizza Kitchen a lot because their food is delicious also their strawberry lemonade too! CPK may be my family’s favorite pizza restaurant. And they removed the croutons 😩 but I get croutons from the store so I guess 5 stars.

This was my third time. The pizzas and salads are amazing. Especially the thin crust Sicilian. The customer service was great, they were a little busy and had to wait more than I expecting. Overall great experience

Santa Ana airport. Hey CEO, your staff decided to socialize for 30 minutes and not serve us. FAIL. Left and ate at a great place. Spend $100 and tipped really, really well. I will also tell all my company; over 2,500. Oops. Bye forever.

The original was the best but there’s a lot of nostalgia here

I used to go to the original CPK and loved it for years but then they started changing the menu constantly and deleted some of the best loved pasta dishes. I finally just called it quits. My wife wanted to go so I begrudgingly went and it had gotten even worse. It has gone from a really fun place to get good pasta to an atmosphere closer to a Dennys. Even the pizza has gotten worse. Not sure who is running this corporation now but it really is sad how bad it has gotten. 2 stars because the pasta and salad isn't awful and the service is good.

I was at the Garden State Mall, in Paramus NJ, California Pizza Kitchen. My family and I, all together 5 People, sat down to have diner and we had such a great waitress. Her name is Caitlyn. Young woman with such a great attitude. Knew everything about the menu including the drinks and IPA and domestic beers. It was really a breath of fresh air to have someone serve us who smiles, thanks us, and give us great service with some pointers on what to eat. We asked her what was best on two choices I had. She was really wonderful. Her manager Rob came over also and thanked us. Wish more places and people were like this.

When I got back to California I need to go for a bbq pizza, it's freaking delicious. I don't give them 5 stars just because the last time the bathroom was a bit messy.

I want to commend the last server my husband and I had there (Jacksonville Location). Although I cannot remember his name, I have never had better service in my life and felt so welcome.

Ordered 2 BBQ chopped chicken salads, which are usually our favorite take out on a busy work day. Had to pull out rotten lettuce tonight and was also missing the white sweet corn, skimpy salad tonight, very disappointing. Order# 7674250924998664.

Delivery was on time, delicious pizzas!!
