Disappointing and pointless
We were chased my Complete ASAP for things we had already competed as advised by our own estate agent, which made calls from Complete ASAP pointless.
When it come to exchange we were told this could not be completed as we were still waiting for the sellers of our new home (who Complete ASAP were representing) to sign documents!!
I’m not sure what their purpose is in the process and they certainly delayed things rather than proactively improved the process of Exchanging,
Disappointing ASAP did not chase their sellers who were not up to date with things their end as it delayed our exchange date.

Sale of a property
The work was related to a property sale. I was eager to complete the sale quite quickly. It was important that that I played my part to achieve this by providing necessary information required and any assistance with contact details with persons who impacted on the process in a timely manner. This cooperation worked well and I was kept informed of the progress made. If I didn’t understand any of the information I was able to ask for clarification and this was given quickly. It was useful to have a view of both sides of the pace of action. All communication was patient and professionally friendly. The sale was brought to completion in a realistic time scale that I was happy with.

Not particularly helpful to the process
The updates received over the months from offer to completion with irregular at best. When they did come, both my solicitor and I acknowledged they were probably a week or so out of date. The agent was nice, but I really don't see a use to this service if it is not actively moving things along.

‘Complete ASAP’ were ‘complete’ly useless to me
The estate agent I bought through was fantastic, but I will never use them in the future if ‘Complete ASAP’ are part of the picture.
As others have mentioned before me, I found ‘Complete ASAP’ a completely useless port of call in the process of buying the property. The stark contrast between this 3rd party company (instructed by the estate agents I was buying a property through) and the Sale Progressor who worked in house at the estate agents I was selling through was like night and day. The differences in knowledge of the actual sale process, competency when dealing with solicitors and ability to keep all updated in a timely manner were undeniable.
Each update was information I already knew, or incorrect, which led to confusion up and down an already large and difficult to manage chain. The very first call with this company almost caused me to pull out from the purchase, after they continually insisted that the seller was ‘tying in’ their onward sale – which they were not going to do if we were ready to complete before them, allowing them to list the property as ‘chain free’. This call soured the transaction needlessly, with the mood only fixed by meeting with the vendor and bonding over our clearly mutual frustration with their service.
I tried to have patience with ASAP, but after being asked for an update on the sale and if the enquiries were satisfied (which seems counter intuitive of their service?) I provided a detailed update on what was outstanding and why. Only to be told by the advisor assigned to this file ‘I can not comment on the replies and what has been asked and provided as I am not the legal advisor’. I did not ask for their comment, they asked for mine!
I decided after meeting with the vendor and then receiving this nonsensical response that I would not to bother to waste time communicating with them. They were, throughout the entire purchase process, the only part that caused me stress. The Estate Agent I was buying through ended up doing a huge portion of the work to get the sale over the line and hold the chain together – rendering this 3rd party ‘sales progression service’ useless to all partied involved in the chain.
