Monopoly Events - Comic Con Wales Arvostelua 

Guests and 90% of the security and staffing on site were good but the comic con event itself was atrocious. For the size of the facility, myself and 2 others that travelled quite far felt ripped off! Was able to go around the trading stalls in 30 minutes as there was next to nothing in the room. Ended up buying more collectables from Newport itself than the event. Had signings booked but couldn't waste the rest of the day waiting for time slot signings as the event didn't have enough in it.......we all left the event deeply disappointed.

Best comic con I’ve been to. I’ve been to others by different organisers in London a few times and also Wrexham. I’ve been to Liverpool a few times also with Monopoloy Events and to be honest nothing compares. We weren’t queuing for long, the venue is great, especially loved that it aircon so it wasn’t hot and sticky like other venues. It wasn’t overcrowded and guest signing and photo ops areas were fab. Parking was easy and accessible. The only thing I would say is that there wasn’t enough seating areas for when you just want a little break.

The best Comic-Con i been to. Monopoly : Comic-Con Wales where do I start the staff at the event and the ICC was brilliant, friendly, and very helpful. & talking about the ICC with a big red dragon and beautiful views is the ideal place from Monopoly Comic-Con Wales with it spacious modern rooms was the perfect place from Monopoly Comic-Con to be held . My experience at Monopoly Comic-Con Wales was brilliant I didn't feel crowded like being stuck in a tin unlike some comic cons I've been to Plus the Comic-Con Wales brought the stars out and continue to Monopoly Comic-Con Wales should be proud for putting on a brilliant experience it had everything big stars, brilliant stores, plenty of space, friendly staff it has everything whether you're a fan of TV , movies or just a geek like me it has everything you want for a outstanding event wherever your science fiction fan ,superhero fan, wrestling fan and more you will not be disappointed it is fun for all the family. And I will be going back and I cannot wait . So overall I give it 10 out of 10

The guests are great but prices are ridiculous, i think that these need to be revisited. I feel sorry for the true fans and children that wamt to meet their idols and cant afford it.

Travelling from a few hours away by train ( and i suffer with painful health conditions ) i booked a place to stay overnight in order to attend the Con on the saturday . My fifth Con in several years and my first time back in Wales in over 45 years , i found the Conference Centre pretty well laid out and the staff were amazing , especially the lady on duty at the cloakroom who put up with me keep going back and forth depending on what i needed to carry with me . More seats or benches would have been good on the main ground floor area as sitting on the carpet was awkward for me , and only one cafe open in the Centre itself ( i gave up with the food tents outside ) meant only a few choices were available , but the sausage rolls i bought were well worth the money . The actors i went to see were simply superb , getting dedicated signed photos for my 40 plus year collection and photos with them i'll treasure forever .

I’ve gone to the wales comic con in the icc since it opened and I’m going this year in august. It’s honestly the most enjoyable experience, so well organised it’s unreal. The guests are always amazing too. I only live around the corner from the event so it’s easy for me .

Have been to comic con wales for the last 2 years and absolutely loved it both times. Never been to anything like that before but am definitely hooked now. Bought tickets for 2024 as soon as they were released and have just booked to meet Jensen Ackles where I will probably either not be able to speak or cry!!

The must go to event ever I have been too , I met the Salvatore brothers and truly thank the organisers. Please get them to come back I will return xxx

Attended this even to meet some of the sons of anarchy stars and had a brilliant day. The photo experience was well organised and my pictures were really good. The layout and ques were really well organised and having so many set props on display added to the fun!

When they Comic Con Wales arrived in 2021 it was the first time I had heard of monopoly events.
I was a little sceptical of attending as I'd never been to one of their events but when they started announcing guests for the show I knew it would be amazing.

As a first show here in Wales they had an absolutely amazing line up and a wide variety of guests too. All the staff were amazingly helpful and polite and the venue they chose to use could not have been more perfect.

If you're looking to go to your first Comic Con. Comic Con Wales should definitely be in your top 5!!

Comic Con Wales in such a beautiful venue. The icc is so nice and great that it’s next to a beautiful hotel. I met so many celebs this event and spent a lot of time with my daughter in the readers section. I love the q&a area as it’s huge and such a good stage area
