Hi - this is the first year I've EVERY operated an LLC with Scorp. You probably mostly have clients who've done if forever, but i'm the newest and dumbest of them all. So i was pretty lost throughout the process. It might help to consider some business tax for dummies videos. Thanks

Collective has simplified accounting for me, I had so much fear being a small business owner running my own LLC and they have helped so much.

Website is great to manage my S-corp. When I reach out to my support team, I get a quick response and good advice. One thing I wish I had better help with is related to my tax withholdings. I feel like I somehow have over-withheld and the reps seemed not too keen on calcuating my withholdings. Perhaps this is due to legal risk. But that has been a challenge. Worst case, I will get a good refund in 2026

Good deal w/poor Accuracy
I hired Collective a few years ago to take over bookkeeping for my LLC / small business. It's saved me about $3k+ per year, which is great. Their data entry accuracy was never stellar, however it's plummeted since switching over to a "team-based" bookkeeping approach. In spite of multiple phone calls, meetings, and very clear instructions about how to categorize my transactions INCLUDING annotated bank statements, their bookkeepers still make egregious mistakes on a monthly basis. I deal with it to save the money, but it's a terrible headache. If you need accurate books & don't want to double check everything (essentially doing the data entry yourself) don't hire this company.

Easy to use. The reminders are very helpful.

After I hired them and paid them they say I need an accountant and Financial Person. They will not answer questions. I was told that they are Automatic and do everything. They already refused to fix mistakes on business documents they created saying I had to pay a lawyer to change them that they could not make changes after THEY submitted them which caused issues at my bank....... Also they charge extra for services that should be included. These service I do not know how to use ! Also they are saying they dont do taxes I have to pay a tax professional !!!!! 349 a month plus additional fees of 15 dollars

Renz was an absolute delight. Not only was he helpful by explaining things thoroughly, he was also very patient with me and my questions! He took the time workshop errors in real-time on the call without making me feel rushed. I felt like he genuinely there to support me and not just run down a checklist.

I have used collective for a couple months now and I have had to time and again ask them to recatagorize transactions to which they say they will change in "the future". If it were up to them all of our transactions would be catagorized as meals.

I would not renew or waste time as I have had to review and message constantly about things being catagorized incorrectly and the issue is never resolved.

Very easy to get started with lots of responsive support. Lots of materials requested.

Absolutely love Collective. Working with Elizabeth M. has been an incredible joy and what a pleasure! She teaches me so much about taxes and running an S Corp and no matter how financially anxious I feel she always makes everything we do understandable, clear, and I always leave our calls feeling calm and organized. Would 100% recommend Collective and also Elizabeth as our account manager!

Great experience

As single owner/operated business I highly encourage you to look at options elsewhere.

I've been with them for almost 2 years.

Year 1: they screwed up payroll big time - did some adjustments to help ease the blow but still ended up costing a lot in taxes. They did compensate a few months which was nice.
No direct rep.

Year 2: I have a direct rep - yay. Was promised they would coordinate with their team.
Yet still poor customer service from support team navigating their "wonky" system, general tax help, and individual tax (They are of course outsourcing this as well).
Also big change in Year 2 was expecting hefty delays — when I recognized an error on their end they told me they'll expedite it to two weeks. It's been almost 4 months! Likely going to face large penalties because of this.
Instead of increased savings I would've gained from using their service. My bottom line has suffered from their subpar service.
Seems like they have brought on too many clients and we are just numbers in their system.
As a small business owner it really hurts to be valued and treated as such. Especially after giving them the benefit of the doubt after Year 1

Plus: Price is decent because it's all overseas CPA's. Make sure to doublecheck their work — plenty of errors all over the place in forms, bookkeeping, accounting tables and quarterly estimates.

Conclusion: Promised a do it yourself turnkey system with support versus a YOU have to literally do everything yourself system with subpar support and 0 accountability on their end.
Not worth it.

I spent like an hour with these people, confirming to me everything is good to go, and i spent time sending documents only to tell me they don't accept a C-Corp. What a waste of time. And i asked for a refund, and i never got a response back in a week. Then i have another support agent tell me to clarify if i want my membership canceled, and not even acknowledging the refund. And then i check my account to see a refund was never done to begin with. I guess they what... expect me to pay $300 something for no reason? What a stupid company honestly. I'll just do Quickbooks and get a good tax accountant. Would save a lot of money like that too. Hope this helps to anyone looking for an automated process.
