PROCEED AT YOUR OWN PERIL! I wouldn't recommend shopping with Clout Closet. Last month on 23/01/2024, I placed my first order on the website and received my parcel on 27/01/2024. The only positive about my experience was that the delivery was super fast, but apart from that, everything else was awful. I purchased two sweatshirts from Clout Closet - a grey Ellesse sweatshirt and a white Chaps Ralph Lauren one. The grey Ellesse sweatshirt turned up with a very noticeable hole on the front of the garment, and wear to the cuff. The Chaps Ralph Lauren sweatshirt turned up with a big yellow stain on the front and also a medium sized yellow stain. I was shocked and very disappointed when I opened my parcel and came to find the garments in a terrible condition. There wasn't any mention of any flaws or defects in the descriptions, so I didn't expect there to be any issues with the sweatshirts at all. I contacted Luke about the situation immediately, and offered to return the sweatshirts for a full refund, providing that he pays the returns postage since the items were defective/not as described. Luke didn't seem surprised that the sweatshirt turned up in a very bad way - he seemed rather non-chalant about the matter. He made it clear that he wasn't willing to pay for the returns postage, despite the fact that he sold me sweatshirts that were defective and not as described. Although I stressed to him that I didn't think it was fair for me to pay the returns postage considering the circumstances, he wasn't prepared to take accountability. It was obvious that I wasn't getting anywhere with Luke. Furthermore, his replies were very slow - I received one response from him per day if I was lucky. The matter was being unnecessarily prolonged and there wasn't any resolution in sight, so I turned to PayPal for help. PayPal were not able to help me with the returns postage cost, since they are a merchant and not a seller. They sent a message to Luke requesting that he covers the postage cost, but there wasn't anything that came of this request. In the end, I paid for the returns postage and sent back the sweatshirts to Luke. I let Luke know that the freebies he included in my order/parcel (Preowned costume jewellery bits and pieces and football cards), would be kept as compensation for the returns postage cost. To wrap things up, once the sweatshirts were returned/delivered to Luke (which was shown on tracking), PayPal provided me with a refund for the sweatshirts. I'm glad I paid with PayPal because I don't think I would've got my money back at all if it was left to Luke to resolve the matter. He is unprofessional, dishonest, unhelpful and incompetent. I'm very surprised that Clout Closet have mostly positive reviews on here. I would have to question the legitimacy of these reviews, considering my experience and the experiences I've read about from others on here. I would highly advise anyone who's interested in shopping with Clout Closet to look elsewhere!

Edit - response to seller: Hi Luke, my review is 100% open, honest and accurate. I have many screenshots of our conversations over on Instagram which backs up everything I've shared in my review. I'm happy to provide these screenshots if you need reminding of the matter. The bottom line is, if you were willing to help me then I wouldn't have needed to contact PayPal to handle the matter.

Edit: You did not help me throughout the returns/refund process. You were very unreasonable throughout our conversations, as clearly explained in my review. Before I reached out to PayPal, I had asked you many times if you could please provide me with a prepaid postage label so that I can return the defective/not as described items back to you. You failed to cooperate with me despite the many opportunities I gave you, therefore I had no choice but to go through PayPal. It was clear that you were not willing to cover the returns postage cost, despite the fact that you were the one who did not describe the sweatshirts accurately on your website. You sent me defective items that were not as described, and expected me to cover the returns postage cost for your own wrongdoings. If you think that treating your customer in this way is reasonable and appropriate conduct, then you seriously need to rethink whether you're capable of running a business efficiently.

Absolutely outstanding customer service, i ordered some Nike cargos, great quality, unfortunately they didn’t fit me, I asked to send them back and the response was rapid, I’ve never had better customer service anywhere else and will be buying again very soon.

Honestly the best seller I have come across. Great replies as I needed to refund an item, they replaced it asap with different sizing. Products are listed at an extremely good price and as a bonus are sold by an excellent seller. Will definitely be buying again in the future.

Brilliant attention to detail packaging, made it an enjoyable experience to open, fast shipping times, quality garments. Cant fault in any ways.

We placed an order on 7 November 2023. First we were informed there was an administration issue that prevented our order from being shipped and we were told that if we were willing to pay a little extra the order could still be shipped. We refused to pay this additional fee and said we would wait for the parcel for an extra week or so. By 22 November the order was still not processed so we asked that the order be cancelled and our money refunded. We were then told the issue was fixed and the order would be shipped. We waited, but received no shipping reference or goods. The Christmas holiday passed and we had still not received anything. On 13 Jan we insisted to be reimbursed as this had clearly gone on for too long. The answer that came back was that a refund investigation would be opened with the delivery company. This obviously was not a satisfactory answer at this stage. When I wrote my first review stating that we had been robbed as we had paid for something we never received, we got a message back that the order would be refunded. We then finally received the refund. I cannot help but wonder why we only received our refund after making a very clear and honest statement on this review website.
I today (15/02) upon updating my review learn again something new about our order. It seems the way to get information is to write a review rather than exchange emails... So apparently the order was delivered at the post office and we never picked it up. If we did not receive any tracking information and were never informed there was anything to be picked up, how should we have known? Anyways, after a lot of trouble on our side, we did receive our refund. Anyway, I have invested too much time in this for no return whatsoever and I would like to leave it at this now.

honestly i was a little sketchy at first but the customer service was perfect. i recommend anybody looking for that 2000s look and i also recommend the seller.

Really good customer service, we had an issue with a parcel and luke was able to contact Royal Mail that there was an issue on their end. He then replaced the item with a new order, couldn’t be happier .

Was awful with refunding the product, very passive aggressive and some of the products I ordered never arrived

The owner is really helpful and kind ,at first my order didn't arrived and he made sure to ship me totally free an other item of my choice. I chose a pair of vintage nike pants ,it was just like the picture.
