Closer Pets Arvostelua 

I ordered a cat fountain. Unfortunately the power supply unit did not work properly. I contacted the Closer Pets and pretty soon the sent me a replacement.
I am thankful to Customer Service Advisor their help.

Speedy delivery, good price but especially the excellent customer we got from Susan Miller. She was very responsive, patient and so friendly - fantastic. Thanks very much.

I bought the flap one year and half ago but recently was not working anymore. I received a new one and I was also assisted to reconfigure it as I was struggling to do so.

The product I ordered was shipped within a few days. Packaging was good. Unfortunately a small plastic part was broken, but there was no reason for any reclamation. The price was great, a lot cheaper than at any pet accessories shop in austria or germany.

I have ordered three auto microchip feeders. I am waiting for them to arrive and will leave a separate review for the function of the feeders.

Firstly, I would like to give 5 stars to the member of customer service (Sue Miller) who I was emailing back and forth with. She was patient and helpful and I genuinely appreciated her time and assistance.

However, this two star review is for the website and purchase experience.
When I went onto the website and selected the 'Closer Pets MiBowl® Automatic Selective Microchip Pet Feeder (CP500)', it says 'Add & Save 15%' just underneath the title of the product. I thought this meant that with each additional feeder you would get 15% off. However, further down it says 'Purchase a MiBowl® for each pet and benefit from 15% off every 2nd MiBowl® in your basket!'. So, you only get 15% off every second feeder. We wanted three feeders, so only one feeder would have 15% off.
The feeders are £99.99. One with 15% off is £85. So, so the order total is £284.98.
I emailed to double check about the discount as we wanted to order three and was told I could try code WELCOME10 for 10% off the first order. I also have an extension on my browser which automatically searches for coupons and it found a 15% off voucher for the whole order.
I tried both the codes and the 15% off multibuy disappeared. So, the order was either, £269.98 with the WELCOME10 code or £254.98 with the 15% off code.
I assumed that the multibuy would remain so the totals would be £256.48 with the WELCOME10 code or £242.23 with the 15% off code.

I emailed customer service again and said the codes did not work with the multibuy and I was informed that management said only one discount could be used at once. I understand this to a degree, but this needs to be stated on the website/product page.
There is no where on the product page which says the multibuy discount is removed when another discount code is used. So, it is misleading.

I asked customer service if a 20% voucher could be given as this would make the order £239.98 which is similar to if the 15% multibuy worked with the 15% off the whole order. Management would not allow this.

I find this frustrating really because there is no clear information on the product page, so how are customers meant to know that the multibuy is no longer valid with another discount code. I am disappointed and not overly impressed with the Management at Closer Pets. I feel the 20% voucher should have been granted and then the website altered so other customers would know that the multibuy does not work with another voucher.

Correct information on the product and shipping.

I had an issue with an automatic cat feeder, I contacted closer pets via email who were extremely helpful and quick at coming back to me. It was great to be emailing a human who was able to help through various troubleshooting steps before arranging a replacement unit.

Closer pets/catmate have definitely gained a loyal customer, the other catmate products I own are excellent.
