Clipper Teas Arvostelua 

I bought a box of 40 decaf tea bags in Morrisons as I’d ran out of my Sainsbury’s own brand ones. These are so awful. Despise me leaving the tea bag in for ages there was no flavour and after adding a small bit of milk it stayed white. Have thrown the rest out. A complete waste of money

Il est vrai que les infusions n'ont pas assez de goût et bien parfumés des plantes. Dommage !!! Et pour le prix que ça vaut !
Remarque : pour les petites étiquettes accrochées au fil , à l'intérieur, vous devriez mettre de la même couleur que leur boîte (ex : le citron/gingembre, la boîte est verte. Dû coup, l'étiquette devrait être verte, aussi). Cela évite que l'on se trompe en faisant plusieurs tasses d'infusion.

De vormgeving van de verpakkingen laat je verleiden tot een aankoop. Echter bevatten bijna alle Clipper theesmaken specerijen als zoethout en kaneel. Apart van de overheersende, vaak (nare) scherpe smaak die de specerijen aan de thee geven is zoethout erg ongezond voor de meeste mensen. Onbegrijpelijk dat dit aan bijna alle theevarianten is toegevoegd door Clipper. Zelfs aan citroen thee, waardoor de keuze klein wordt. Thee moet vooral naar thee smaken, hoeft niet zoet te zijn of penetrant om lekker te worden gevonden. Niet mijn merk dus. Door de voedingsindustrie wordt ons al jaren de trend 'zoet' opgedrongen. Voor liefhebbers van zoet is er honing of suiker, hoeft niet in de thee te zitten.

"Thé vert fraise bio" alors les ingrédients sont bien du thé vert (standard), de l'arôme naturel de fraise et 1% de fraise bio.
Alors niveau bio, on repassera. Ensuite, le goût qui est bien celui du thé vert avec un très léger goût de fraise (j'en suis sûr car c'est indiqué fraise sur la boîte).
Bref une arnaque sur toute la ligne. C'est de l'industriel de base et en plus, le goût est mauvais.
A fuir.

Zeer waarschijnlijk zit er suiker in hun thee. Daar is helaas niet achter te komen, want het lettertype op hun verpakking is onleesbaar (helemaal in de supermarkt waar slecht licht is) en als je naar hun site gaat zeggen ze dat je de ingrediënten op de verpakking vindt. Al zou je de ingrediënten wel kunnen lezen kom je er overigens nog niet per sé achter dat er suiker in zit, want daar zijn een hoop code namen voor, zoals natuurlijk aroma.

Ive been drinking Clipper Ginger&turmeric tea for about 2 years. Love it. The tea tastes so much weaker nowadays why? There looks a lot less in the bag maybe. Such a shame.

I am a regular purchaser of Clipper teabags, but lately I have noticed the tea made with each teabag is very weak. I can only guess that they are placing less tea in each teabag .
Thought I was imagining it at first but I don't think so.

Clipper tea is a great product but company does not care about loyal customers

The decaff tea tastes like decaff tea of old (when the taste was so distinctly different / flowery that you knew you were drinking decaff and not caff tea). Even most supermarket budget decaff tea tastes like tea and has shed the awful flowerty taste these days and you ca't tell the difference in taste between caff and decaff, but not Clipper. It's also really weak; you can barely get one average cup of tea out of one bag. For a 'premium' brand, completely rubbish.

I love Clipper tea. The flavours are great, I really appreciate the Fairtrade and organic ethos, and the unbleached tea bags are a big plus. It’s one of the few brands where it feels like the ethics and the quality actually match the marketing. Another thing I appreciate is that while Clipper isn’t the cheapest tea out there, the price still feels reasonable for the quality. It’s refreshing in a market where some brands seem to be drifting into “luxury beverage” territory.

My only complaint: please stop discontinuing the best blends! Every time I find a favourite and emotionally commit to it as my daily tea, it seems to vanish from the shelves. For example, the flavoured white teas (orange and raspberry) were absolutely delightful but they seem to have disappeared. It took me years to get over the loss of dandelion and burdock a few years back and my heart still fills with yearning remembering it.

I will absolutely keep buying Clipper, but at this point choosing a favourite flavour feels like getting attached to a TV character who’s clearly about to be written out of the show. Please let some of them stay!

Mais où est le goût? Thé vert detox bio juste de l’eau colorée. Très décevant

Just switched from my regular brand because all though it was a good brand it wasn’t organic.
The Earl Grey from Clipper I really like. It’s light, meaning not too strong for me, having said that I don’t leave the tea bag in too long so I can’t really talk about its strength. I like that it’s reassuring to know it’s organic with the USDA classification and I also believe they use real Bergamot not the artificial chemical kind. Nice cuppa!

J'ai acheté pour la première fois deux boîtes de ces infusions : Zen et Rooibos Cinnamon.
Je suis très déçue.
Peu de goût et le peu de goût n'est pas agréable du tout.

I have been buying Clipper organic tea bags for years, but I should clarify that this review only relates to the ordinary teas not the herbal ones, which I haven't tried.

I tend to switch between the everyday and the breakfast tea depending on what's on offer but I think the breakfast tea in the red box tastes better.

Whilst we know it's not possible to completely eliminate plastic from the teabag production process, I think Clipper still offer the best, affordable, option for people wanting a tasty organic, plastic-free compostable tea bag. Those qualities are really important to me.

I'm puzzled by the negative reviews of the breakfast and everyday tea bags. I feel the quality has been pretty consistent in the years I've been buying them. However, I would agree that the decaf tea bags are not good. They are weak and lack flavour even after brewing for several minutes. So I won't buy those again. It's only because the decaf option is so poor that I have dropped one star.

Improve the flavour of the Clipper decaf bags and I'll be happy to post a five star review. 🙂

Started buying Clipper teas recently in Denmark and I find them so much better than the other brands, even the fancier ones. The strawberry green tea has a great aroma, my other favourite is the mango tea. Surprised by other negative reviews, this tea is top in supermarket brands.

Il manquait 3 sachets de thé dans la boîte. J'ai pris contact avec le service client qui ne propose pas de renvoyer les sachets manquants, mais juste des bons réductions 🙃.

We’ve been buying the clipper everyday organic teabags for years and it was robust and full of flavour, however not any more. It’s now insipid and not worth the money. Such a shame as we used to love it. Noticed a change in the flavour over time but that’s usual I guess, however they’ve made it a weaker blend now. We’re going to change to a different brand.

Tried the decaf tea and I couldn’t believe how awful it was. Incredibly weak even after brewing for five minutes- awful flavour like a mixture of watered down hot milk and earth… will never use these again- waste of money . Back to Yorkshire tea!

Hopeless box as it falls apart and makes storing or stacking impossible. Not strong tasting teas . V mild.
