I have used the company before and Recently purchased card again no issues at all with funds transferring to card and used card straight away for in-store and online purchases would recommend, there is a bit of online details to be added for security which seems to be legislation driven once u have all that information at hand to set up initially I found no issues. Normally do t review these things but saw some of the comments and if I hadn't used before may have been put off using. I would recommend using easy to use once set up correctly.

Got 2 x clever cards from work. Iv had Issues with receiving refunds onto card. Balance shows as incorrect less than what's actually on the card. Have received authorization texts from people trying to use the card so from different parts of the world seem to be able to obtain card numbers

Pure and simple!

Horrendous service. I have not been able to add the card to my wallet since I got a new phone and no-one will come back to me

I received a clever card from a family member Christmas 2025
I still haven’t been able to activate it
Just receiving automated responses about checking with my employer Worst customer service ever

I like but it can't add the wallet easily

CleverCards provides an excellent digital payout and expense management system for businesses. The platform makes it incredibly simple to issue prepaid digital Mastercards instantly via email or SMS for employee rewards, incentives, or corporate expenses. Because the cards integrate directly with mobile wallets, they offer unmatched flexibility for modern teams.

Where to start, so the customer service is ghosting me but the main issue is with Apple Pay. I am not able to add the card to my digital wallet. They blame Stripe for that, a migration that happened 6 months ago. Furthermore, the password reset email does not ships. I am still waiting for it.

I find clever card now so clever after all...I can't seem to get it to connect to Google pay. Also if any surplus money is left over you can't top up and it becomes dominant in the account with never gets spent... Spent 190 out of a 200 euros and you can't spend our the last 10 euro's... Clever card must allow you to amalgilate unspent money on the card.

Brilliant thing to have, takes me a while as I’m not great with technology

I used to sing the praises of these cards and recommend them to clients and then at the start of April this year my card was suspended. I received no notice of same or reason why, in fact no contact from them whatsoever. I reported it to their support team immediately and after all sorts of promises and apologies and excuses from them it took until May for them to sort it. Absolutely outrageous. I no longer recommend them to anyone.

I received a refund on my card in April, the card was no longer active so I was told it would be issued on a new card. That's fine, no problem. However, it's been almost 3 months of messaging them constantly and I've still received nothing.

Easy to install and use, but there is currently a display issue on the App, which means that refunds aren't being taken into account in the total balance. CleverCards has confirmed my total balance is higher than the total balance displayed on the App. This makes it difficult to keep track of how much money you have on the card.
