Terrible service, no update a week after a no fault accident, no communication , no hire fare. constant having to call and being pushed between city insurance, an underwriter whom they could never contact then to the solicitors, whom again pushed us back to city insurance. Not one person knows what is going on. Or not one person who can answer a question. 30+ minutes on hold to be told to call the solicitor, again another 20 mins on hold to be waiting for a call back to not receive one

Never had to make a claim but had a van insured with them for several years and found them to be helpful in getting a good price..not the cheapest but always in the range. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly with email documentation within minutes.
Van sold now and will miss my annual chat!

Insured with them in early December and had to cancelled the policy in early march as their insurance company KGM Motor did not insure EV cars. The policy cost almost £590, I got refunded £185 back for less then 3 months cover, between this cowboy broker and the insurance company they have taken over £400 for 3 months of cover. Never deal with a broker like this before, the cost they charge to stop the cover was over £100 in admin costing I presume they got just as much commission to insure it in the first place. You have been warned, a very expensive lesson for me.

Got scammed £153 by their agents, don't know what to do

Wasted a day going back and forwards, couldn’t seem to grasp what I was saying and came back with ridiculous quotes! even though I’ve a perfect record.
Go to simply business and get top insurance companies at less than half the price these quote.

Although I didn't renew my policy on this occasion, Creig Rebbeck was friendly and very professional.

I emailed six brokers for car insurance as we are returning to the UK from abroad. Only Mark from City bothered to answer with a relevant response. Two others referred me to their online forms which frankly they should know by now one size does not fit all. We got a detailed, personalised reply and I am delighted to say I then ordered a car and already have the policy document from Mark at a sensible price with the cover I want. I can only suggest you "forget the rest and contact the best." Great service and expertise is hard to find these days but City have it in spades. I am delighted.

Aways get a prompt phone pickup. All staff are very professional and responsive to my requirements and needs.

Although my premium came in higher than I imagined it would your staff listened and made suitable adjustments. They were courteous and helpful, not overbearing.

I was able to speak with the same representative on the few occasions I rang the company, which meant I didn’t have to repeat everything or require a second rep to familiarise themselves with my particular requirements.
The City Insurance quote wasn’t vastly cheaper but I was determined not to use a online only insurer this time.
My advisor was excellent and business was concluded in a timely manner.

The quote I received online was £1150, I have been asked to call and confirm everything,
I called and they changed the quote to £1700.

Change over from previous company was easy and very efficient also good communication

It is the cheapest I could find among a good trusted company - everything good so far

Avoid for learner driver insurance!!…
Took the full 12 month payment and WONT refund pro rata less an admin fee once you have passed your test. Told there small print says NO refunds. Passed after 4 weeks so would have expected some sort of refund.

These people are just so good. We have been fans over many years. They are everything that an on-line call centre isn't. You have specialists who will go the extra mile and know their stuff. I think we all pay fair premiums with good insurance companies through City. When we have needed advice, it is excellent and immediate. I shouldn't knock all on-line. There are some really good on-line insurance people like Adrian Flux, but we have also had some truly dreadful experiences. Normally when you have a problem. City are just a great port of call like a proper insurance broker should be.
