Churchill Living Arvostelua 

After years of stained and disintegrating ceiling tiles being replaced, and over painting with stain blocking paint.
In 2021 a new lodge manager had a roof survey carried out and independant quotes were obtained to solve Churchill Livings defective leaking roof since construction. Quotes were around £23,000.
Notably with a 20 year product guarantee.

Attempt was made to claim from the NHBC 10 year build insurance but this failed as had been previously reported when it should have been dealt with by Churchill Living!

Following further disrepair and a sham S20 process. This year unconfirmed works were carried out by VMR Construction Solutions contractor who comes up on Google search as a Construction Director for Churchill Living!

Leaseholders service charge funds have now been charged around double (£46,000) the 2021 independant quotes
(Plus another 10% to Churchill Estates Management for Section 20 (non)compliance)!

Aside that VMR Construction Solutions does not appear to provide any product guarantee.
An experienced Churchill Living construction director who specialises in construction solutions may have been the best person to (hopefully) solve their substandard and defective leaking roof.

But Churchill should be paying themselves, not leaseholders paying double independant quotes!

We have been before and the place is always spotlessly clean, the room is beautifully laid out and there are no shortage of "extras"! This time there was a wonderful array of toiletries to choose from. She goes above and beyond to make our stay feel like a holiday. Thank you again Carol, we look forward to seeing you again soon.

Had an appointment to view apartments yesterday and was most impressed by the sales exec Gemma Wordley found her to be very efficient and knowledgeable,kind and compassionate nothing was too much trouble.Not made a decision yet but was still very impressed.

Friendly, helpful advice from Aimee at Riverain Lodge, Taunton. Taking time to show me around without any pressure, and sitting to chat over a cuppa, answering all my questions.

As a new owner/resident of Croft Lodge in Aldridge, I am very happy with my whole new lifestyle. The lodge manager is very helpful, and the apartments and the development are lovely. Very convenient for the local shops and local transport.

As a contracted cleaner working at Jubilee Lodge in Fleet, I’ve had the pleasure of spending a lot of time in the building and getting to know the environment and people, and I can confidently say it’s a wonderful place.
Tracey, the Lodge Manager is incredibly welcoming, supportive, and approachable. Her friendly and professional attitude sets a really positive tone throughout the whole lodge.
The apartments themselves are bright, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. It’s clear a lot of care has gone into making them both comfortable and practical for the owners, with lovely layouts and plenty of natural light.
I’ve also found the owners at Jubilee Lodge to be genuinely kind and friendly, always ready with a smile or a quick chat!
All in all, Jubilee Lodge is a warm, well-managed, and beautifully maintained place.

We at Neville Lodge, Peacehaven have now received letters increasing our service fees due to an error at accounts, backdated 2 years!
We have 28 days to pay or face interest!
Seriously this company is NOT customer facing in any of the 10 complaints raised with CL or CEM.

I will write again to the CEO and MD the McCarthy brothers who claim this family company is run to the highest standards.
Maybe this time they’ll reply directly - I won’t hold my breath.
Still no resolution to the multiple complaints raised formally in April 2025 - 6 months. Very customer focused!

Despite your assurances, still no reply or explanation received. A whole week of causing concern to a group of 30 + elderly owners who invested in your marketing promises! Shame on you!

My husband & I recently stayed overnight at your Chartwell Lodge, Tunbridge Wells, the lodge manager was particularly welcoming & friendly. It was a very comfortable room with the added bonus of lots of parking spaces unlike our own location, where parking can be a real issue.

Their manager Mel is amazing and has been great help to our family throughout our experience here with our family. She goes above and beyond so kind and friendly. Don't know what we would have done without her.

I have greatly enjoyed my three night stay in the guest suite at King Edgar Lodge, Ringwood whilst visiting a friend who lives there. The whole building is impeccably clean and most welcoming. The guest suite is absolutely beautiful with lovely furnishings. It is exceptionally clean with a lovely attention to detail. The bed is extremely comfortable and the whole ambiance is peaceful and inviting. It is clear to me that the manager, Sue, goes above and beyond to ensure guests feel comfortable and at home and she obviously takes great pride in her work. I enjoyed my visit so much that I am looking forward to returning. Thank you for such a lovely visit.

There are a number of compliments that could be levelled at our Lodge Manager Nick, but for me the biggest one is his knowledge and expertise with technology. Any mobile phone or computer issues he’s the man , ace with tv and dvd also. Oh and he does great posters too.

I am the postman at Saint Nicholas lodge kings Norton, Lisa price the manager has always made me feel welcome and always very friendly, most of the residents know me there because of her and she is very helpful.

The entire experience of moving mum was exceptionally professional. The staff Mandy and Helen are exceptional assets to the business. It is clear they care about what they do.

The process of moving was smooth. Mum is so happy here and the move has changed her life for the better. She is very happy and therefore we’re very happy.

Moved my mother into Riverain lodge in Taunton, everything went very smoothly on the day. Thank you to Aimee and Helena for making mum feel very special and welcome. It was not he smoothest of Home exchanges (out of Churchill's control), however Aimee remained very positive to ensure that mum would be able to move in.

Once again our sales manager Julie Burton organised a fabulous afternoon inviting the Kidlington Choir into the Lodge to entertain us also a sing a long for us to join in ,to finish the day with Refreshments.The choir go around to all the local amenities in Kidlington & said this was the best they had attended & felt so welcome by the friendliness of us residence,Thank you Julie you never disappoint us,we are know looking forward to Macmillan get together next week.

Our problem that I wrote about previously has been resolved.This is thanks to our manager Steve Waite and some help from the area manager. A big thank you to you both.

We had a fabulous 2 night stay at Chelmer Lodge in Chelmsford over the weekend. The guest suite was clean and warm. The Lodge manager Nicola was very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.

Aimee gave us a tour of Riverain Lodge. Aimee was an excellent guide - informative and friendly.
We were most impressed with the facilites and apartments in Riverain Lodge and we intend to buy in the future.

I am writing this for a friend who has recently moved to Burlington Lodge. Whilst the whole concept is to offer a smooth transition to a retirement home there are issues.For a one bedroom flat the hot water tank is exceptionally large therefore very expensive to run especially as lodge manager advised to leave on at all times. I found the monthly newsletter hilarious from the teabag thief,the non toilet flusher and heaven forbid the battery snatcher,you are not dealing with children!! I would want a full breakdown of the service charges as always Churchill are on a win win, whilst at first Churchill appear competitively mid range you multiply by 30 plus flats things such as gardening and cleaning horrendous If you just want a relively worry free mode of living not worrying about depreciating value of property great.

Following a stay in the guest suite at Knights lodge, Lymington,I wanted to share how spotlessly clean well stocked, and comfortable the guest suite was.
Sharon the lodge manager was professional and efficient in handling the booking and is obviously very proud of Knights lodge as this is reflected in the luxury standard of the guest suite.
Knights lodge is in a fantastic location, walkable to the vibrant town centre and a great base to explore the New Forest.
Looking forward to visiting again.
