I moved into St Francis lodge 4 months ago and have loved every minute of it. I am soon to be 70 and despite being fit and healthy I only wish I had done it sooner. I live with my husband in a two bedroom flat. The building is extremely well managed and Nick the building manager is so kind and helpful going above and beyond to help me fit in and solve any of my problems. Highly recommended 5 star!

I arranged for my father to move into a rented apartment, and the Churchill staff were excellent, particularly Vivian who was the main point of contact within the lodge. Communication was good, items were delivered as requested, and the welcome was very warm.

I recently moved into Bond Lodge and all the staff at Churchill Living have been so friendly and helpful. I would especially like to name and thank Sally, who has been guiding me through since I first viewed the apartment. Even after I've moved in she has made herself available to help whenever she can.

Mum lives at St Johns lodge in Timperley, South Manchester. Steve the manager is excellent, he goes way above whats expected for his role. Always very helpful and cant do enough for the residents. They are lucky to have him!

I stayed in Stanley Lodge Epsom’s luxury guest suite for a night. Such a comfortable and warm room looking out over the immaculate gardens. Nice and large, as was the modern bathroom. There were tea and coffee making facilities plus biscuits and a great TV. My thanks go to Isobel Price for arranging for me to arrive late. Can’t wait to stay again soon!

My mum has recently moved into her new Churchill flat in Haverhill. From initial contact, initial viewing plus subsequent viewings and finally moving in, Alison the sales representative has guided and helped, as and when required. The whole moving process was made very simple as Churchill arranged everything which took a lot of stress away. Alison is a real asset and I would say went above and beyond just to ensure my mum's move sale/move went smoothly and without any issues.

Churchill made a great effort to alleviate the stress involved with the selling of my previous property and the purchase of my new apartment starting in January 2026. I felt quite pressured to accept the offer that secured the sale of my previous home as I was on holiday at the time and trying to cope with technology in the middle of the Mekong was frustrating! However, after this, all went according to plan within the desired timescale and I am loving my new apartment.

I'm one of the first owners to move into Adam Lock Lodge & the whole service from my initial walk in to the sales office has been absolutely faultless. Nothing has been too much trouble, the Churchill 'selling made easy' process was smooth & super efficient throughout. The recommended panel solicitors did an excellent job. Britannia Removals & having the lady come & help me unpack on the day of move was incredible! I'm already enjoying my new lifestyle & my beautiful new apartment. Highly recommend.

The team at Churchill Living and at Baker Lodge, especially Sunel, have been absolutely brilliant with helping my Grandfather move in to his new apartment, during what’s been a difficult time for the family. They went above and beyond to organise the rental property, and I can’t thank them enough for everything they’ve done!

I recently visited a friend in her band new, beautiful purpose built flat in Churchill's Otter Lodge in Honiton. I was treated to a night in the guest suite; very 5* in line with everything in the complex. She is delighted with her new home.

The realisation due to health issues that I needed to downsize prompted me to call into the sales office at Bond Lodge in Rainham, Kent. I was welcomed by the Sales Executive Sally Reid, a lovely friendly lady who listened whilst I explained my situation. Having understood & evaluated it, she proceeded to show me around the complex & the remaining available apartments that would be suited to my requirements & furnishing me with a brochure & all necessary information to enable me, without any pressure, to make my decision. I returned around a week later with a positive reply & Sally immediately put the plan into action. Without all of the help that Churchill provides I could never have contemplated the move but Sally was the driving force. She was amazing, so friendly, kind, caring & understanding, reassuring & smoothing any queries that arose, & very efficient, keeping me regularly updated every step of the way from outset through to completion. It was like having a person very well known to me dealing with it all, making it a more or less stress free experience. Even after completion she takes the trouble to check that I am OK & happy. She dealt with every issue along the way helping me turn what I would have initially thought impossible into reality. I will never be able to thank her enough.

Sunel has been more than fantastic in helping move our grandfather, Tony, into Baker Lodge. We managed to get him moved in less than a month from making first contact with Sunel, who even offered to come over to his previous place of residence to get the paperwork finalised. Not to mention all her guidance and advise in applying for my grandfather’s attendance allowance. Sunel really went above and beyond and we couldn’t have done it without her!

Had a huge amount of help from Sally sales coordinator and although move was very stressful with her help I have now moved into my new apartment

She took us through all the steps that we needed to make, from selling our property and finding our forever home.
We really love our new apartment and have settled into our surroundings and have great neighbours.

As someone who lives in a Churchill Lodge elsewhere in the country, we are lucky enough to be able to stay in the guest room of any other Churchill Lodge in the country for a very reasonable fee.

When I heard that Austen Lodge was opening in Basingstoke, I was very pleased, as I used to live in the town some 25 years ago, and one of my sons still lives there. I was one of the first to stay in the en suite guest room when the Lodge opened in 2023, and was very impressed right from the start as it is very spacious and comfortable.

However, an extra thank you to Steve, the Lodge Manager who has added a few touches to the room which have made a big difference to comfort there. It is so helpful to have a mini fridge to put things like milk and yogurt in, and even an instant meal which can then be heated in the microwave downstairs in the kitchen.

I stayed recently to be able to visit my son in hospital for just over a week, and it made things so much easier for me, being able to stay there at such a difficult time.

Outstanding Lodge Manager – Truly Above and Beyond
I would like to leave this review specifically for the Lodge Manager, Nichola Ruff, at Chelmer Lodge in Chelmsford, rather than for Churchill as a company, as this reflects her personal dedication and care.
My mother has lived at Chelmer Lodge for over ten years and has seen several managers come and go during that time. However, in the past six months, as her health has deteriorated, Nichola has been nothing short of exceptional.
Due to increasing weakness, my mother has suffered a number of falls in her flat. Nichola has consistently stepped in to support her in ways that go far beyond what would normally be expected in her role. While I appreciate there are limits to what a Lodge Manager is required to do, Nichola has shown genuine compassion and humanity by helping my mother with personal care when she has needed it most.
She has stayed with my mother while paramedics have attended, ensuring she was not alone and providing reassurance during difficult moments. She has also responded to calls outside of her working hours when my mother has fallen, which is something I will always be grateful for.
I live over an hour and a half away, and knowing that Nichola is there, keeping an eye on my mother and stepping in when needed, has given me enormous peace of mind.
Nichola, if you happen to read this—thank you. Your kindness, dedication, and willingness to go above and beyond truly make a difference.

Dad has recently moved into Connecticut Lodge in Hertford Town. From the first visit to view the apartments, brunch & bubbles event, we were made to feel extremely welcome. Amanda, the sales rep, is such a lovely genuine lady. She made us feel at home straight away and explained the whole process and all the lodge information.

We visit mum at Atkins Lodge in Orpington and have greatly enjoyed our five night stay in the guest suite. Thanks to Diana who is the Lodge Manager there and made sure that we were comfortable. What a lovely place to stay!
