What an experience. Fun, beautiful, and most important of all, challenging. And it's all thanks to our clever, charismatic tour guide Buddha. His expertise extends beyond the Himalayan region and its history, culture and religion. He is an avid entrepreneur with a Masters' degree pursuing multiple business ventures. Generosity is also his strong suit, with many under priveliged Nepalese children in full time education as a result of his support.

His english is excellent, and his cheerful demeanor made this trip one to remember. We cultivated a team spirit that could not waver even by the immense pressure of the altitude! He knows when to be serious, providing detailed advice and relevant guidance to achieve success. But he also knew when humour was appropriate to lift our spirits.

I don't usually write reviews like this, but Buddha's a hard working and kind individual. Highly recommended. Thank you Choose a challenge and thank you Buddha. Best of luck with your future endeavours. Stay in touch.

The EBC Trek was a truly unforgettable experience. The knowledge and expertise of our guide Buddha was second to none, and he insured that everyone in our team made it safely to basecamp and back. We couldn't have done it without the support from our guides and porters. The trek was wonderful, but the team was even better!

Having just completed Everest Base Camp and Kala Patthar, I just wanted to say a huge thank you to Bhudda and Perna, and to the all the amazing porters who put so much hard work into making this all possible for us. They were incredibly friendly and always helped and motivated us through the hardest parts of the trek. Without them, this trek would have been so much harder and i’m incredibly grateful for that. They knew the region exceptionally well and I felt like I was their friend rather than their client. I honestly couldn’t have wished for a better experience! I would recommend these guys and the trek itself to anyone, it was completely unforgettable. Thank you so much!

Buddha, our guide made this experience unforgettable. The whole journey was safe, remarkable as well as challenging. The trek itself is stunning but it’s all about the people, our group had a synergy unmatched and thanks to our guides, our porters the journey was smooth and well organized. I highly recommend Buddha as a guide, he created this bond in our group and showed fantastic leadership skills, I am so glad I met him. I left the group to go on an additional adventure and even once the trek over he helped me figuring out everything to make sure I was safe, he is the very best !

Our recent trek to Everest Base Camp was an unforgettable adventure, and we owe much of our incredible experience to Buddha, Purna and his exceptional team. From the very beginning, Buddha and Purna were amazing and friendly guides, always ensuring our safety and comfort.Their deep knowledge of the region and its culture enriched our journey, making every step more meaningful.

The team of brave porters who accompanied us were nothing short of heroic. They carried our gear with unwavering strength and dedication, allowing us to focus on the breathtaking scenery and the challenge of the trek.Their cheerful spirits kept us motivated even during the toughest parts of the climb.

If you are looking to do the 3 peak challenge I can fully vouch that you need not look know further than choose a challenge. We meet Chris in Glasgow and was made very welcome from the offset. Chris was our host on the transport to get us from A to B safely and on time, with Richard then Paul driving us with great patience even when we were loud. We would meet each guide to take us up the mountain. Each different guide on each mountain was absolutely superb. Very knowledgeable and caring for the group, and all 3 guides were more than a pleasure to walk with. We had a fantastic group and made memories for life and this was down to the great experience that choose a challenge created. Make sure you prepare properly for this trip. Chris was our team leader for the 3 peaks challenge, he sorted everything out and got us everything we needed, good bloke… had the crack with him the whole time… good bloke! We had a great team and just smashed the whole challenge… had 3 different guides for 3 different peaks… Ricky on Ben Nevis and as a top bloke, knew Ben Nevis well and kept us all going as a team…Kev on Skafell Pike was a legend, kept us safe on the dark rocky decent and Robert on Snowdon also a brilliant guide took us up and great trail and brought us back down on a different one so we could see all sides of Snowdon… all in all it was an incredible experience and I would highly recommend booking your challenge with these guys!

Our Salkantay Trek to macchu Picchu was amazing. The guides Reuben, Mihail and Jose Luiz were fantastic. Always there to help motivate you and bring smiles and laughter to the long trek.
Felt 100% safe, lots of historical chats and never felt rushed to complete the trek. The guides all have loads of experience and are helpful at guiding you through the

Great local guides with expert skill and knowledge.

I held off writing a review last year because of communication from others in the group who were persistent about asking for good reviews, but I wanted to leave an honest review now because I feel incredibly guilty about using this company. I signed up for the peaks of the Balkans trip for Marie curie and frankly I have no clue how much money went to the charity itself, but I truly wish I had scrutinised this more before I signed up. CAC are money grabbing and disorganised, and our representative Rhiannon was unprofessional, incompetent and disorganised, and incredibly rude to locals and our excellent guide (Mend was a gem!! He doesn’t deserve 1 star!!). Frankly she was there to make TikToks for her own personal account. There was little support for when members of our team got ill and there were far far more things to pay for once we were then than expected, which was surprising since the trip was so overpriced. Avoid using CAC and raise money for charity before going on holiday- you’ll save money and give more to an actual charity, not giving a free holiday to inept employees like Rhiannon.
They outsource everything to other travel companies so go direct rather than let them mark everything up!

Absolute amazing experience. Choose a challenge came with laughs and determination with everyone I completed the challenge with. The amazing guides on each of the mountains certainly knew these mountains like the back of their hand and I couldn’t appreciate them more. Choose a challenge was amazing from start to finish and Mike organised it amazingly with a lovely surprise at the end - I won’t say what - that’s for you to find out :) P.s who could forget the lovely bus drivers Rob and George for driving us from place to place really an overall experience I will treasure.

Just embarked upon the three peaks challenge with choose a challenge’s very own Mike.
Thrilling experience, great bunch of people, Mike really culminated a strong sense of teamwork and fellowship within.
I would really recommend the experience as a whole- climbing the mountains was really fulfilling and the whole experience was seamless, efficient and exciting as a participant and challenge leader.

Mike, the challenge organiser, was a friendly, welcoming member who assisted everyone and made them feel comfortable within the group. The challenge was organised efficiently and effectively, resulting in me to benefit from the exhilarating event to its greatest potential. The drivers between peaks were accessible and convenient ensuring that the travel between locations was easy and enjoyable. Quality time, Mike was great, kindly let me borrow his coat for the 3 hikes after I forgot my own. The mountains were great with plenty of stops for food and water. Drivers were also great !
