Singing together is a joyful and bonding experience. I loved having a go at Karaoke in the evening and hearing others sing too. A wonderfully supportive atmosphere. There was brilliant sessions on singing technique where I greatly enhanced my ability to sing out loud and strong. It was fun to do a final performance. Staff and fellow guests were all fantastic. Villa is stunning and food is delicious.

Have just returned from Mamma Mia experience in Zante - what a joy it was. 30+ singers who were strangers at the beginning enjoyed a week of singing ABBA, harmonising and performing a flash mob. Included was all of our tutition, food and tour of the island, along with a few meals at tavernas and a boat trip. The evenings culminated in open mic at the resort - Garden Village Apartments Kalamaki. Everything was very well organised and such a great time was had. If you love singing i highly recommend Sing Eat Retreat

This retreat holiday was beyond excellent and what amazing experiences were to be had also.
My first retreat was Sound of music last year and I was hooked from the very first day.
The music tuition from our West End Directors is second to none and it doesnt matter if you are a beginner like I was, as everyone is so warm and friendly and our tutors couldn’t have been more helpful.
I have just come back (2weeks ago) from my second Eat Sing Retreat in Greece singing ABBA. I’m totally hooked.
Every day was magical and our week culminated with a flash mob on the final night.
We stayed in beautiful apartments and our Host Carol made sure we had the best cuisine you could wish for , all homemade freshly cooked food .. This truly is a holiday of a lifetime…. And it was action packed too . I left feeling that we were lavished with absolutely every thing. In fact, it’s hard to spend any money on the retreat as it’s three meals a day and even afternoon tea. The generosity of this company and our hosts was second to none and it felt like every need/Wish was granted !!

My second retreat in just under a year, I headed back to Tarifa wondering if this experience could possibly match last year’s incredible Les Miserables holiday. I was thrilled to find it was just as good, if not better. The location was sublime, the food was delicious and plentiful. This time I stayed in the villa. It was so comfortable and clean. Our tutors were professional, empathetic, encouraging and so engaging. Everyone gravitated naturally toward them. Our hosts, Cat and Annalisa, were superb. Their incredible hard work made the whole experience seamless. Open mic after dinner each night was all the evening entertainment we needed. Can’t wait to go again!!

The fact that I've just completed my 4th retreat in a year says all that needs to be said about how brilliant Sing Eat Retreat is! Huerta Belinda truly now feels like a second home - we are all so well looked after by the incredible Ops Manager Cat and the team, nothing is too much trouble. The coaching from West End professionals who give so much of themselves, ensures that even the most nervous or inexperienced singers will get so much out of the week, developing their voices and confidence. There is plenty for more experienced and even professional singers to learn and enjoy too as all of us get to be immersed in this wonderful world of musical theatre that would never happen in normal life.
Add to that the awesome accommodation, delicious food, wonderful people and stunning location and this really is the perfect solo holiday, I leave with new life-long friends every time. The end of week showcase is just the perfect end to an incredible week and there is no way this experience could be matched or bettered - I will never go anywhere else except SING EAT RETREAT for a singing holiday and I wish i could come to every single retreat!!

Sing Eat Retreat really knows what it is doing. A superb week in Zante - struck exactly the right balance between learning (from amazing tutors) and fun. Perfect location with really great food too. I came away with a bunch of new friends, lots of memories and (i think) a better singer too. Wonderful.

Spending a week in Zakynthos with Sing Eat Retreat singing Mamma Mia songs in such a beautiful setting, surrounded by people who love music just as much as I do, was pure joy.

I arrived knowing some fabulous ladies whom I met at another wonderful Sound of Music Event run by Sing Eat Retreat in Salzberg—and very quickly the entire thirty three of us gals gelled. By the end of the week, I genuinely felt like I had found my tribe. There’s something special about sharing music, laughter, and a little bit of vulnerability that brings people together so quickly.

The experience itself was incredible. Learning and performing ABBA songs with amazingly talented West End tutors was both exciting and empowering. From recording in a charmingly rustic studio to filming around the island and even taking part in a flashmob at a local taverna—every moment felt unique and unforgettable. The boat trip, complete with a swim stop in crystal-clear waters, was another highlight, (I didn’t jump in 🥴 but we all enjoyed singing to the ladies and Kris, our brilliant coach, in the water)!

The food and accommodation at Garden Village were also fantastic—delicious, generous, and very hard to resist!

I left Zakynthos with a full heart, amazing memories, and friendships I know will last. If you’ve ever dreamed of doing something like this, don’t hesitate—just go for it. It’s more than a holiday, it’s an experience you’ll carry with you long after you leave. I’m looking forward to lots more Sing Eat Retreats ❤️

This is my third SER holiday,

Amazing! I’ve just returned home from my second SER holiday with my next one already booked. One big house party for singers, tutors and house staff alike - and we all became one happy family for a very special week. We worked hard, learnt a lot, laughed a lot, ate a lot - and sang an lot. Every one of us will have arrived home richer for the experience. Fantastic people, great place, wonderful location, lovely food - pure joy.

Amazing from start to finish. The accommodation ( The Garden Village) was perfect Carol and her team were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble.
Food was hot fresh and delicious.
Rooms for clean fresh and spacious a real home from home. A beautiful location.
Our Mentors Lucinda, Hollie, Kris and Steve were supportive and put us all of these and made everything so clear for us. Margaret our chaperone was always at hand to help with any problems not that there was any. She was very supportive.
Can't wait to book the next one.

What an Abbatastic time we just had on the Mamma Mia retreat. Perfect accomodation at the Garden Village with fantastic staff. Incredible tutors, who guided and supported us with total dedication and professionalism. I had some eureka moments with my singing thanks to the tutors. We were blessed with the best weather too. Thank you for the music and this absolutely wonderful week with the most fabulous group of people.

The team of incredible coaches really have worked us all so hard and bought out my confidence to try new songs .

The Master class by the Amazing Joanna Riding not only her presence is a pinch me… jaw dropping moment but the wealth of advice she has given and taught me and others to break the lyrics of the song down to a monologue act them out then reduce them to paraphrases to find the emotion , the light and shade .

I did that and it broke me down to tears on my song but then when I sang it I was taken aback .

The whole week of meeting new people from all over the country becoming good friends .
The food just out of this world I’m sure I’ve put a stone and the amazing Villia we call home for the week x


We was all so increadibly proud of ourselves the support each and everyone gave each other without any judgement was so much more important than anything.
The laughs , the tears but to have fun when we performed last night nothing can take that feeling away ❤️

Excellent week in Zakynthos on the Mamma Mia retreat. There were 33 of us some of whom knew each other in advance and some, like me, who had come on their own. We arrived as strangers, we parted as friends. We had 4 excellent West End tutors who guided us through our ABBA songbook culminating in a flashmob at a local taverna. In the meantime we filmed at various locations on the island, laid down our track at a local somewhat rustic recording studio and went on an exhilarating boat trip which included a swimming stop. Food and accommodation at the Garden Village were exceptional- you may go back a few sizes larger! Thanks to all for a wonderful week.

If you love singing and melodies .... you have to be in Sing Eat Retreat!! Its an experience, a beautiful and memorable one definitely. I wish to join my next one soon. And keep it going.

This is an experience like no other. Top class singing tuition in a beautiful villa overlooking the sea. I was outside my comfort zone for sure: my voice has been degraded by four bouts of covid and perimenopause and I struggled a lot. And going into a group of people you don’t know, but who had nearly all done several Sing Eat Retreats before, was daunting. But I’m SO glad I stayed and persevered. It was a magical week. Do it: you won’t regret it.

I have just completed a second Sing! Eat! Retreat! experience, and am sitting at the airport wishing that I wasn't going home. I have already got my name down for another one next year. The hosting, the mentoring, the support and singing are everything I ever wanted and more. If you're wondering whether or not to go for it, I can wholeheartedly say just do it! You will be encouraged and supported in a totally non judgemental way and will leave with a whole new family. ❤️

I have just returned from Mamma Mia retreat in Zante. It was an amazing week, extremely well organised and thought out. It was an intense 5 days (6 nights) but thoroughly enjoyable. Couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful bunch of people, from the organisers, to the tutors, to the amazing Carol at Garden village accommodation and the lovely lovely people I met and sang with every day.
If you enjoy singing, I can whole heartedly recommend these breaks, they have a wide variety of breaks. Go for it! You won’t regret it.

I attended the Sound of Music retreat in Salzburg in May 2025 was absolutely outstanding, I enjoyed it so much that I re-booked for the sing Mamma Mia retreat in Zante at the first possible opportunity. I didn’t think it was possible to surpass the experience in Salzburg but the Mamma Mia retreat truly did.
Excellent accommodation at the Garden Village Hotel, and a fabulous tour guide who took us on a coach tour around the island, and a boat trip the following day. But most importantly what did we come for - the singing!! We were led by 4 outstanding West End professionals, 2 vocal coaches, our musical director and our movement director. Together they coached us throughout the week, both in ensemble groups and 1:1 sessions to our ultimate finale of performing an ABBA flashmob in a local taverna. Every one of us was buzzing at the end of it.
Alongside our tutors, we were supported by Zane and Margaret who hosted this retreat, and Carol and her team at the hotel who were just lovely. I could take up pages and pages saying how utterly brilliant the whole Sing Eat Retreat experience is - but if you are thinking of booking then just do it, as you are guaranteed an incredible time.

I have just returned from the most amazing experience – a Sing Sound of Music holiday in Austria! It was a complete leap of faith for me to do this – heading abroad on my own, flying (which I hate), and not really knowing what to expect once I got there. Luckily, I met some of the others from my group at Stansted beforehand, and they were so calm and caring when supporting my flying nerves. And from the moment I arrived at the villa just outside Salzburg, I loved it all! The tutors, Leigh, Sarah and Michael were all kind, professional, encouraging and endlessly patient! It was incredible to be singing those wonderful songs in the practice room, whilst looking out onto the Alps. Christine and her team at the villa ensured that we were constantly fed and watered – you definitely won’t go hungry on this holiday! Also, Sonia from SER kept everything running really smoothly for us during the entire week. The other participants were all so lovely, and hugely supportive of each other. We bonded quickly over the meals, singing practice, sharing our life stories and costume changes on the coach! Every day we had such giggles, in fact, often full-on belly laughs. The tours to the film settings were completely fabulous. Then to be filmed ourselves in those incredible locations was quite honestly mind blowing. And in costume!! We also spent a really fun afternoon in a recording studio. The whole experience was utterly joyful and life-enhancing and I loved every moment. It was an extremely busy week, with very little down time – I think we all needed a rest when we got home! But the added bonus? … I now have a new tribe of Sisters!

Just returned from a fabulous Sound of Music holiday in Hallein, near Salzburg. There were 24 of us, and I feel I have made new friends for life. Pension Sommerauer was really lovely, and Christine and her team looked after us really well. The food was very good with lots of local specialties.
Our leaders Leigh, Sarah and Michael were all really good and guided us through singing various songs from the film. We went to a recording studio too and recorded the songs we had learned. We visited several of the locations from the film where we were films. The filming and recording will now be put together in a video.
It was an amazing experience and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone who loves the Sound of Music, singing and the most beautiful scenery
