Ordered a glass mirror for my new home…
Ordered a glass mirror for my new home on the 31/3/2026. Not sure what date I received it. Open on the 6th May in my hew home only to find a crack . I bubbled wrapped and put fragile tape all over it . I know it was not me or the my removals. Chimes will not except my return for a exchange ,£219 down the drain so upset. Because it's a couple of days over in their terms and conditions. Won't he shopping with them again. awful customer care .

Thank you for your feedback. I can see the mirror was ordered on 30th March and delivered on 2nd April. Unfortunately, the damage was not reported until 7th May, which is outside our reporting timeframe for transit damage.
As the mirror had also been moved during a house move before being opened, we’re unable to determine whether the crack occurred during delivery or afterwards in transit/storage at the property.
We do understand this is disappointing, however we do have to follow our terms and conditions consistently for all customers.

The table and chairs itself is lovely…
The table and chairs itself is lovely (portofino range with fire pit) but the table/fire pit came with one branded leg missing, making it wobbly and pretty much un-useable. Contacted chimes who were lovely at first and now they are just taking forever to sort anything out. Taking days to get back to me each time. Emailing after nearly a week to say they have found stock (the set is now out of stock) elsewhere and that it is in ‘good condition’ to send to me and to replace. After paying over £1600 for this set I don’t really think this is acceptable to have a good condition replacement. I want brand new! That was a few days ago now and I have asked for a manager to ring me but it’s radio silence. I’m now checking my phone all the time for an update! They didn’t even say when the replacement was coming or if we need to dismantle what we have built already even though it’s just sitting there. I have kids and it is too dangerous incase it moves with the glass on top. Such a shame as the first few people I dealt with were lovely and since I have a problem now the service isn’t quick enough/ good enough for a resolve. The set itself is lovely but it’s such a shame that this has happened when the company should have done so much more or could have sorted this much quicker with a quick phone call to get it sorted and restore my trust! Bet after this review gets posted I get a phone call but it shouldn’t have to take for this to happen!

The first issue was notified to yourselves on the 24th April, which is over a week ago now. Waiting days in between replies isn’t good enough for a product you’ve paid over £1600 for, a simple phone call to keep me updated rather than going back and forward would have been better. I have explained multiple times on emails in regards to my circumstances and they have been ignored, in the email today there still has been no mention of when the new piece is being delivered and we have been told to dismantle the other one which is ridiculous in itself.

Having reviewed the notes on our system, I can see that this issue was only reported to us a week ago, and since then our customer service team have been actively working with both our warehouse and yourselves to get this resolved as quickly as possible.
The Portofino set has now unfortunately sold out however, we do have spare parts available to resolve the issue for you. I can also see that, as requested, you asked to view photos of the replacement base from our warehouse before it is sent. While we completely understand wanting reassurance, this has added a couple of days to the process while the warehouse obtained and shared these images. These have now been sent over to you, and the replacement base is ready to be dispatched as soon as you confirm you’re happy to proceed.
We do appreciate your patience, and we’re sorry again for the delay and inconvenience caused. If you’re happy with the images provided, please do confirm this with our customer service team so they can arrange the exchange without any further delay.
With regards to your recent comment, we were awaiting the requested photos of the base from our warehouse which you requested prior to dispatch, which unfortunately caused a delay of a couple of days in processing the exchange. We kindly ask that you remove the existing base so that we can proceed with the replacement. I hope this makes sense and if you need any further assistance please do not hesitate to contact our customer service team who will be happy to help.

Furniture arrived quickly and is lovely. The rain cover I also ordered was not sent and had to ring the company twice about this. On the second occasion though they did send it out on next day delivery. Not had chance to try the fire pit yet.

Nova gazebo GREAT - but go elsewhere
We purchased the gazebo - which frankly is great, but there was an offer on to get a free heater for £299 but you have to actually buy it to get it discounted at the checkout which wasn't at all clear from the website.
so the gazebo eventually arrived about 2 weeks kate due to shipping errors at the courier ... which took me many emails and calls to sort out - Chimes weren't very proactive. Now chimes won't send us the free heater without proof the offer was on at the time, which it was at every stockist of Nova!!

As we explained at the time of your order, the pergola was unfortunately out of stock, and the delay you experienced was due to ongoing global shipping issues. Vessels are currently having to take longer routes, which has impacted delivery times across the industry, not just with your order.
Regarding the heater offer, at the time you placed your order, this promotion was not running. Instead, you purchased the pergola at a significantly reduced sale price which was over £500 less than the current price. When the free heater offer is available, customers are able to select and add it to their basket during checkout.
It’s also important to clarify that the heater promotion is not a manufacturer-wide offer from Nova, but one we run independently as a retailer using our own financial resources. As such, it is only applicable during specific promotional periods.
As previously mentioned, if you do have any evidence showing that the free heater offer was active at the time of your purchase, please do send it over and we will be happy to review this and honour it where appropriate.
We appreciate your comments on communication and will take this on board to improve our service going forward.

Had a garden set at my previous address and the quality was fantastic,definatly gone downhill.
