Run away from chequestore.ca
If there were an option for negative “stars,” I would have chosen it! I ordered cheques from chequestore.ca and e-transferred the total amount to a man named Jaspal Pannu. The day after the order was confirmed, he emailed me saying, “Without full payment, the order will be cancelled.” We had a phone conversation during which he said, “For some reason, the tax is not calculated by the system.” I agreed to pay the additional amount but told him, “I placed the order through your system and paid the total as indicated, so please take responsibility for the mistake.” He began arguing and insisted that the error was my problem. He later cancelled the order and refunded my money.
What astonished me most was that he never apologized or acknowledged the inconvenience caused by his incompetence. My concern now is that he has my business’s complete bank account details, and I am unsure what potential fraud could result from this. Additionally, I noticed that the seven reviews on Trustpilot are dated after July 22, 2026, even though the company claims to have been in business since 2001.
The Toronto King Street address they have is a virtual office rental too!
I strongly advise people to avoid this untrustworthy online business.
