I have purchased all the Chefs temp products and found that the probes in general are not user friendly. It is way too difficult to pair with the S-1 in standalone mode and never works the next time. I have the Pro Temp Plus and that seems to be working fine with the exception it takes too long for it to recognize the probe when trying to set up a cook. In addition, the back that holds two extra probes are hard to remove from the charger. Just not enough room to get underneath it to release it.
Those metal numbered flags do not attach well enough to the probes...they look nice, just not real practical.
In closing, the self-help videos are just not. The fact that the suggestion to make a video prior to get real-time assistance is odd. The only reason for this has to be the product wasn't tested long enough to establish a true sense of reliability.

I ordered the charger 3 weeks ago and still not received or notified. Fall is coming and summer is ending. I hope it shows before next spring, in time to cook. Very disappointed! I would tey a different brand on Amazon!

I have just tried this out on my Kamado Joe and the first cook was brilliant. Easy to install, and temperature readings instant. My MEATER’s can’t match the ambient temperature on the Protemp S1 and now I have confidence in having remote monitoring of my dome temperature.

This was first time to use S1 Protemp, probes and Breezo fan. Fan operation did not seem to work quite right as it did not maintain a constant temperature. Whatever activation temp tolerance the S1 has is either very extreme. It could not hold a 225 degree requirement without dropping way down or going way over. Found myself having to babysit the cook when I bought this so that I would not have to

Product is everything they said it would be.delivery of product was prompt.

Lost package on delivery, sent me a a replacement single bt thermometer. Seems they sent a charger but nothing to connect the bt with after downloading the app?

I have the ChefsTemp S1, Breezo fan, ProTemp 2 Plus wireless probes and the Final Touch X10. All of these products have worked flawlessly. From out of the box to connecting the S1 and Wireless probes was very simple. There was no issues connecting them to my WiFi or Bluetooth. The Final Touch X10 reads temperature really fast and it’s been better than my other instant read that costs 2 times more.

I’ve been using chefs temp products almost a year now, I have the breezo and the s1 for my akorn kamado, now you do have to do a little adjustment to get the mounting plate to fit on the vent slide of the akorn, But I really love it, it turns my akorn into a smart grill and I’ve had to replace my breezo because of some damage I faced due to a storm here in Memphis but the team was very nice and they did send me over another one free of charge so I’m forever grateful and looking forward to what’s to come from chefs temp in the future.

I have been running ChefsTemp products for a few years now. I have watched them grow as a company. What stands out to me as a consumer is the care for their customers! They have a FB Group where people share experiences.. and some people give suggestions.. and ChefsTemp actually listens!!
ChefsTemp has definitely changed the way I smoke and bbq. The S1/Breezo combo is so good that I have 3 sets! 1 for each.. OG Bronco drum, my homemade UDS, and my SNS Kettle. It has turned each of these charcoal cookers into set it and forget machines!!! I get the authentic charcoal flavor, with more ease of use than a pellet unit!
I even have sever of their wireless probes. I have the original ones and the Gen 2. Both work great.. but the Gen 2 is super thin. I believe they are the thinnest on the market!
Product is well manufactured.
The app is super clean.
Customer Service is quick to respond.
What else you need in a great product?

Ho avuto modo di conoscere questo brand su Instagram e mi ha incuriosito subito. Avendo un Masterbuilt 560 ho deciso di fare un upgrade. Ho così accoppiato il Breezo fan e il ProTemp S1 aggiornando così il mio dispositivo che di per sé era già affidabile, ma con chefstemp lo è diventato ancora di più. Accendi, imposti la temperatura e lui si occupa di tenere sotto controllo la temperatura nella camera di cottura. L’applicazione per cellulare è intuitiva e completa. Mai più senza…

I have the S1 and Breezo along with two probes and charger. Whenever I do any smoking on my Char-griller Akorn I can count on the S1 to control everything whether if I'm home or away. That's one of the perks, if the S1 is connected to your wifi, you can monitor the cook in the app away at the store or wherever you may be. My Breezo ended up malfunctioning and they are replacing it free of charge, one of the best customer service out there and very helpful.

I love this brand they got everything. The s1 and fan solution has made my opportunities endless. They got the right thing for every solution.

The ChefsTemp products are well made and work great, but the customer service is where I think they really shine. I've been using the S1, probes, and Breezo fan for about a year now, and they have truly made my cooking experience much less stressful!
