Upon completion of my umrah trip I would say the experience due to the arrangements made by this umrah travel agency had made my trip without a doubt comfortable and the journey overall, from each stage starting from initial take off to each transport arrangement and return was handled excellently I would highly recommend going with cheap umrah deals when seeking a spiritual journey to Saudi Arabia.

This was my first time booking an Umrah package with this company, and I’m genuinely pleased with the service I received.

Sister Areeba arranged everything smoothly and without any hassle. She kept me updated and in contact at every step of the journey, including flights, transport and hotel bookings. Her communication, support and attention to detail made the whole experience much easier and gave me peace of mind.

She also managed to arrange an excellent budget-friendly package at a very reasonable price, without compromising on the service.

Extremely disappointing experience – think carefully before booking

My experience with this travel agency was extremely frustrating and disappointing.

My return flight was cancelled, and instead of being offered alternative flights, I was asked to pay additional fees. I ultimately had to arrange and pay for replacement flights myself.

My return flight had cost £2,700, and British Airways subsequently refunded the agency approximately £2,000 for the cancelled flight. Despite receiving this refund, the agency refused to return the money to me.

To be absolutely clear, I was only asking for the refund relating to my cancelled flight, not the full £2,700 I had originally paid for my return flight.

What followed was over six months of chasing my own money through countless emails, telephone calls and formal pre-action court letters before I finally managed to recover it.

Even then, the agency split the refund into two payments over a period of four weeks.

Why should a customer have to go through six months of stress, repeated demands and the prospect of court proceedings to recover money relating to a cancelled flight?

People work hard, save their money and make sacrifices to perform Umrah. They place their trust in travel agencies to treat them fairly and handle their bookings honestly. Taking advantage of customers in these circumstances is particularly disappointing when they are simply trying to undertake a religious pilgrimage.

Although I eventually recovered my money, that does not excuse the way this matter was handled. The time, stress and effort required to get a refund that I had been pursuing for months were completely unacceptable in my experience.

I hope the agency reflects on how it treats its customers and remembers that honesty, fairness and accountability matter. In Islam, we are reminded that every person will ultimately be accountable to Allah for their actions and for how they treat others.

I would strongly advise anyone considering booking with this agency to do their research carefully and keep all correspondence and payment records. This review reflects my personal experience and the difficulties I faced in recovering my money.

Hotels were great, staff were great, so were all the services provided. Everything was as described. 100% recommmend booking through iqra. She was very kind and very helpful

We had the best experience and an amazing umrah trip. We choose 5 days Makkah and 2 days Madinah at an amazing price. We had both Adeem & Areeba who were so helpful, friendly and always easily available to get in contact with. We opted for transport and the drivers were great and vans were vip standards. We had no issues in our trip and I would definitely recommend this company. I will be using them again in the future. Especially brother Adeem and Sister Areeba who made everything so easy for us. Our entire family went through this company to book a large group family trip for Umrah in January 2026. We paid a substantial deposit and trusted them to arrange our package as agreed.

Unfortunately, they provided us with the wrong package and then demanded additional money from us. When we explained that we could not afford to pay more, especially after already paying a large deposit, we were told that they could no longer honour our trip and that our full deposit would be refunded.

It has now been 9 months, and we are still waiting for our money. Despite numerous attempts to contact them, we have been repeatedly ignored and given the runaround.

The way this situation was handled left our entire family extremely stressed and distressed, particularly with our Umrah approaching and having to worry about both our money and our travel arrangements.

We never expected to be treated this way, especially by a company advertising and arranging trips to the Holy Land. This experience has been incredibly disappointing and has caused our family unnecessary stress and financial difficulty.

We strongly advise others to be extremely careful and do their own checks before booking or handing over any money.

I would like to give a special mention to Mahek for the exceptional service she provided in helping us organise our Umrah trip. From the very beginning, Mahek went above and beyond to make the entire process as smooth and stress-free as possible for us. What stood out most was how approachable, friendly and incredibly responsive she was. No matter what question, concern or last-minute issue came up, she was always only a text or phone call away and would respond almost instantly with a solution. Organising an Umrah trip can naturally feel overwhelming, especially when travelling as a family, but having Mahek supporting us made a huge difference. There were genuinely moments where, without her help and guidance, we would have struggled.
