What I love about Castleforbes College is how welcoming and kind the whole team is. Castleforbes is a judge-free community and you feel welcome and seen from the very moment you step inside the building. Also, I really enjoyed the class I was enrolled in and had a great experience with my classmates.
The school offers a great environment since the beginning. Arriving there, we're greeted by Andrea, the receptionist, and then we can go to one of the 12 classrooms, where the teacher is waiting for us ready for the class to start. My teacher most of the time was Brendan, an energetic young teacher always concerned about making the classes interesting. We were always motivated to participate, talking about important subjects, writing and evolving in nowadays discussions. The book is challenging and current, teaching the language while bringing up all sorts of subjects, from politics, geography and history to sciences, sports and news. The school still has a cafeteria, where are offered free coffee and tea, and also a lounge where students can hang out.
Every week there are several activities all students can attend to, like conversation classes, language exchanges, parties and visits to parks and museums, besides the weekend trips to other gorgeous spots of Ireland. Those activities allow us to socialize and make friends from all over the world, to practice our conversation skills and to get to know better Ireland and the Irish people.
What I liked the most was the friendly environment, because the school is not so big, it is easy to become a small and united family.
I really appreciated the 25 weeks spent in the school and I recommend it to anyone intending to go to Ireland.
