Mitchell was brilliant from start to finish. Took care in everything we said. Sales garage was easy to find, clean and all staff were friendly as soon as we arrived. Will 100% be back when we need another car.

I’m really disappointed by my experience with this company. After signing the contract, I was promised my car would be ready, but it was delayed multiple times. They gave me a courtesy car, which I appreciate, but the communication was consistently poor. Every day, I was given new excuses like missing parts, delay in ordering parts, sick driver and the truth was always just delayed. Even when I then decided to come and collect the vehicle myself, I was informed that the part was not even ready despite they told me that my car was ready to go and they were just waiting for the driver.
I don’t think that was fair enough expecially because I have patience when it comes to this things but for me the importance of saying the truth, especially, to a customer is Key.

Eventually, I had to request a refund and cancel the finance agreement because I still didn’t have the car. I must say, though, that Iousef, the dealer helping me, was great and never at fault. The problem is with the overall management and their lack of honest communication. I hope they improve this because, despite the issues, Iousef deserves credit for his effort.

I purchased a Tesla Model 3 AWD from Cartime in December 2025. Unfortunately, my experience after the sale has been extremely disappointing.

At the time of purchase, I was sold additional products totalling almost £2,830, including a Lifetime2K Warranty (£1,829.17), a 3-Year Service & MOT Plan (£582.50) and SafeGuard Premium (£415.83).

I was in a rush due to a family event on the day of collection, and only after reviewing my paperwork did I realise these optional products had been added. I contacted my sales adviser, Moncef El Bouhmadi, as soon as I realised and told him that I did not want these products and wanted them cancelled. He assured me he would deal with it, but nothing happened.

Over the following weeks I made multiple phone calls and continued chasing for an update. I was repeatedly told that someone would deal with it, but I received no resolution. When I visited the dealership, I spoke to Gareth, who also said he would sort it out, but after that I received no further response. I also emailed the branch manager in February and did not receive a reply.

Now, seven months later, I have been told that the products cannot be cancelled because the 28-day cancellation period has passed. This is extremely frustrating because I was trying to cancel them from the beginning and relied on the dealership’s repeated assurances that they would deal with it.

I have even contacted the warranty provider directly. They confirmed the warranty had been cancelled, but advised that any payment issues must be dealt with by the dealership. Despite all my efforts, I am still left trying to resolve a situation that I raised months ago.

Based on my experience, I would strongly encourage anyone buying from Cartime to carefully check every optional product before signing any paperwork and to ensure any cancellation requests are confirmed in writing immediately.

As I do not believe my complaint has been handled fairly, I will now be escalating this matter to the appropriate ombudsman and other relevant organisations for independent review.

Great service from Yousef, very proffesional

Avoid paying the reservation fee unless every promise is confirmed in writing.

My experience with CarTime Bury has been extremely disappointing.On 9 June, during a telephone conversation, the car salesperson pressured me into paying a £100 reservation fee after repeatedly assuring me that it was 100% refundable if I decided not to proceed with the purchase. At no point during that telephone conversation was I told that I would have to travel to Manchester and test drive the car in order to be eligible for a refund.

When I decided not to go ahead with the purchase, I was told my refund would be processed within 5–7 working days. More than 10 days later, despite repeated emails, numerous phone calls, and raising the issue with multiple members of staff, I received no meaningful response or update. The salesperson was extremely difficult to contact throughout.

When I finally managed to speak to him, I was told for the first time that the £100 would only be refunded if I came to Manchester to view and test drive the car. This condition had never been mentioned before I made the payment. I felt that the terms had been changed after my money had been taken.

The lack of communication, contradictory information, and failure to honour what I was originally told have left me feeling misled and extremely frustrated. As things stand, I have paid £100 and have received neither the refund I was promised nor a satisfactory explanation.

I hope CarTime responds publicly to this review and resolves this matter promptly. Until then, I cannot recommend this dealership. My advice to anyone considering buying a car from CarTime is simple: do not rely on verbal assurances over the phone. Get every promise—especially regarding reservation fees and refunds—confirmed in writing before paying any money.

Yousef was first class. Helpful and went out of his way to help us purchase our new family car. Couldn’t be happier with my service and would recommend again tomorrow. Will be coming back for our upgrade.

Bought a car from Car Time Burnley. Felt like the whole process was very rushed. Drove away being unsure of who my warranty was with and the process to follow for 2 years free MOT and service I was promised. Called the Aftersales team several teams and no answer everytime. Eventually called Sales and they answered instantly (typical, keen as mustard when buying a car but not interested afterwards).Sales operative was rude on the phone, cutting me off and saying I was repeating my question in 5 different ways. He explained my free MOT and service was with Car Time Bury - yet when I bought the car they told me I could get this done at "any Halfords or ATS garage". So they lied about this. Just be warned, their focus is on selling the car and will say whatever they need to to prompt you to buy - after you've driven away, they don't care about you. They even guilt tripped me on the day to take a picture and leave a 5 star review on Google. That's my experience anyway.
