We called in for breakfast at the Capital Asset in Perth. Olivia was wonderful and couldn’t do enough for us. Food, service and staff were wonderful (value for money and smiles all the way).

Not professional
After a lot of thought i just want to warn people the dangers if they dont calculate all the costs involved i bid 9200 on a watch and ended up with a bill for 16500, they did let me cancel but was very costly, please please do your figures cos once you put a bid on they have you and are very demanding.

Mr Stringer,
It seems all of our hard work to try to help and assist you now goes overlooked...
We gave you all of your options, And you later requested to cancel the sale knowing the total cancellation costs up front...
Under your own admission, You failed to calculate the Additional Fees applicable to the lot, As well as read the bidding terms you agreed too... But now choose to tarnish us by your own doing
FYI - All additional charges are located within the 'Additional Fees Tab' just below where you entered a bid multiple times
We wish you all the best for your future endeavours, But would strongly advise the following going forward for any Auction participation:
1) Read and Understand all Terms & Conditions
2) Make yourself aware of all Additional Charges, Prior to submitting any binding bids.
All the best,
Capital Asset Auctions

Extremely difficult to work out T&C's.
Extremely difficult to work out T&C's.
Trading in a way , ie business to business leaving the buyer with absolutely no consumer rights whatsoever.
Giving them the legal advantage Keir Starmer would not be able to legally argue .
Once you make a purchase you get highly pressured to complete straight away , unless you want to be financially destroyed.
They do offer an opportunity to cancel and you have to take it .
Make sure you spend a good few hours looking through there T&C's before you even bid because once you even put one bid in there is no turning back and they can force you pay up or pay the fine which is 28 percent of the bid plus plus vat and around £375.00 ,which you will have to pay.
Be very aware you could get yourself in a financial pickle if you even place 1 bid
Not a good experience whatsoever.

Mr Wiffen,
Whilst we welcome all feedback (Good or Constructive) - We feel this is somewhat unfair...
The sale you 'uninvitedly' entered into was a 'Trade Only Non Consumer Sale' - Upon registration it is mandatory for you to confirm you have read & understood all of the bidding terms... Which clearly under your own admission you did not!
Do we feel it is essential to read and understand Terms & Conditions you are registering for? - Yes we do!
As a verified Auctioneer we are here to help and assist, We welcome first time & returning bidders to contact our office or visit our website where a full video tutorial can be found, Giving an clear step-by-step guide to Registration, Additional Fees, Bidding, Invoicing, Payment Terms & Collection Etc...
Perhaps in the future, It would be beneficial for you to read & understand the Terms you are registering and agreeing too...
Best wishes for the future.

Amazing service.
I purchased a car from this company. Very pleased with my purchase and also how professional this company is. Very helpful throughout the whole process, leving me feeling very confident about my purchase.
Infact I have now passed their details on to my daughter as she is now in the market for a newer car.

Extortionate hidden fees
Not only has does this company charge extortionate fees, they also like to hide extra fees deep within their T&C’s behind acronyms such as ‘SC’ which means nothing to people who don’t often bid on auction sites. They split the invoices up into two separate ones which is suspicious anyway, which l late found out is because the second invoice is the one that contains the hidden fee which you only get to see after paying the first one. The people who answer the phones are also very rude and use their words cleverly to call you an idiot without trying to help you. Then when I cancelled the item, they charged myself over £3000 as a ‘cancellation fee’. All in all I would never deal with anything this company has to offer ever again and hope no one else gets caught up in their deception. I have no doubt if they reply to this post it will be to make myself look like I'm in the wrong but looking at the other reviews I’m clearly not the only person to feel this way about this company.
