Komen de wettelijke voorschriften en voorwaarden niet na
Als het lastig wordt, gaat CANVASCAMP met de hakken in het zand. Ik heb volgens hen artikelen geretourneerd. Dat is echter volledig terecht en volgens de voorwaarden. Nu is er een zending zoek, de vervoerder geeft geen uitsluitsel. Ik vraag om mijn geld terug maar word beschuldigd van fraude. De vervoerder heeft zich niet aan de regels gehouden: de zending is NIET bij mij afgeleverd, dat kan ook niet want ik ben in het buitenland. Er is getekend voor ontvangst door 'yty', een voor mij onbekende 'persoon'. Canvascamp brabbelt over 'coulance', maar in dat stadium zijn we helemaal niet!! We zijn namelijk nog steeds in het stadium VOOR coulance en meer van die onzin. Canvascamp toont hiermee geen ruggengraat te hebben als het lastig voor ze wordt. Triest.

Het spijt ons dat u onze service op deze manier ervaart. Voor toekomstige klanten willen we de situatie graag verduidelijken.
In dit dossier zijn meerdere omstandigheden samengekomen die de afhandeling hebben bemoeilijkt:
- We ontvingen berichten via verschillende e-mailadressen en onder meerdere namen, wat de communicatie lastig maakte. (waarom opereert u onder zoveel verschillende namen? Nederlandstalige, Duitstalige, Engelse, ... namen)
- Het door u opgegeven telefoonnummer werkt niet. U bent niet bereikbaar voor ons en voor de transport firma, en ons verzoek tot terugbellen is steeds onbeantwoord gebleven.
- Er zijn 3 bestellingen geplaatst die we aan u linken, telkens zijn deze geretourneerd voor redenen onbekend, en telkens hebben we u terug betaald.
In het specifieke geval van de vermiste zending, uw 4de bestelling, hebben wij van UPS een officieel leveringsbewijs ontvangen, waarop aflevering en ondertekening geregistreerd staan. We hebben dit meermaals laten onderzoeken door UPS, maar zij bevestigen steeds dat het pakket correct is geleverd en ontvangen.
Ondanks deze omstandigheden hebben we geprobeerd mee te denken en tegemoet te komen.
- Ondanks levering volgens UPS hebben we aangeboden het product nogmaals te versturen.
- We zijn ook voortdurend in gesprek gebleven, ook na eerdere negatieve beoordelingen.
We begrijpen dat dit voor u niet het gewenste resultaat heeft opgeleverd. Tegelijk zijn wij van mening dat we binnen onze mogelijkheden alles hebben gedaan wat redelijkerwijs van ons verwacht mag worden, en nog veel meer. Wij twijfelen hard aan uw oprechtheid.

Great experience with customer service
I haven't yet had opportunity to use the tent (though I look forward to trying it out in a few weeks); this review is based on the customer service I received when an issue came up during shipping. When checking the UPS tracking information for the shipment I was alarmed (as a Canadian customer, and having ensured during the ordering process that the product would ship from within Canada) that it had left from the US and was about to incur brokerage fees upwards of 30% of the product value. Expecting that I would have to find a way to reject the package as that would have been a deal breaker, I contacted Canvascamp who responded courteously and promptly, indicated that the product had been out of stock in Canada hence had shipped from their US warehouse, and reassured me I would not incur additional charges. Any fees were dealt with by Canvascamp prior to delivery, and delivery was problem free, and as scheduled. Based on my experience, this company really cares about their customers!

Still impovement needed in mosquito net
Customer care answers quickly but you don't provide the solutions to repair/replace pices whereas they are delicate (case of mosquito net).
Dissapointed you did not think about adding a zip around to replace easily in case broken

We’re glad to hear that our customer care team was able to respond quickly, and we understand your disappointment regarding the mosquito netting. The tent in question was a Traveler model, which is the most budget-friendly option in our range. While it doesn’t include features like zip-off mesh panels, this is a conscious design choice to keep the tent accessible in price.
In your case, the tent was borrowed from a company, and the damage occurred during use. To help, we provided replacement mesh material, so the mesh could be repaired. It surely is quite the work to replace 3 ripped mesh windows.
Adding zippers or modular mesh systems would indeed make repairs easier, but it would also significantly increase the production cost, something we try to avoid for entry-level models like the Traveler. That said, we always take feedback seriously, and we’re continuously evaluating how to improve durability and repairability across all models.

al meer als 30 jaar kampeerervaring, alle dure merken getest en uit geprobeerd, maar de tenten van Canvascamp slagen er in uit te blinken op alle gebied, geen condens ,en stormvast, ook de meest gezellig tenten, heb de 450 protech en de 520 Apex hopelijk komt er nog een 450 Apex uit ,dan is mij verzameling compleet

Great product. Amazing customer service
I was very impressed with my Bell tent when it first arrived . The ordering process was super smooth and the quality of the hardware and the finishings seemed excellent. I had replaced my previous bell tent, an English made one I kept 25 years, with top of the range Canvas Camp Sibley Apex. After a week, the mosquito net zip came off its rail. I'm a professional seamstress so I fixed it. Accidents happen...
Customer service was remarkable yet again !
The commercial gestures they made to compensate for my trouble was commendable. I am most grateful!
I have no doubt this tent will accompany us for many years to come. We live in Spain, and our Bell tent is our guest room. It stays up from May to October, which is why we wanted the best quality available on the market.
