By far the WORST dog tag and terrible customer service. To start with, they advised these as tracking, which is a lie. They do NOT track your pet, when scanned someone can choose to share the location they are at right then.

Second, the silicone tag, doesn't even come with a way to attach it to a collar. When I asked customer service, they say you have to provide your own means for attaching it.

The print quality is horrible, light and hard to read, and doesn't seem like it will last long at all!

Decided to still try it, but try as I might to set this up, the app keeps freezing and kicking me out. No amount of restarting, refreshing, reinstalling, etc is helping. The website link on the tag just gives an error. This is completely useless! So frustrating and customer service is a joke and won't let me return this either. Their Return policy is a lie as well! Incredibly frustrating.

Will NEVER buy from this company again!

I ordered my ByteTags on the Black Friday sale. Almost a month later and still no sign of my order. I received no email for shipping update or tracking information. No response from them either. I had to open a case with PayPal to get my money back.

Super excited about this pet tag! Very pleased with purchase and experience. I can highly recommend! I think it's a great idea for any pet you have, dog or cat, to have such a secure tag and gives peace of mind.

I orders one for my big dog so I could see the size of it before getting some for my smaller dog. Now all 4 dogs have ByteTag’s. The shipping was really fast and with the sale going on and the discount code I received after the first purchase I got all 4 for $37. I love that it gives all the pets information right away. Makes me feel better knowing that if the dogs were to get out they would be well taken care of till I can get them back home

Love this ByteTag! Easy to order, came in a very reasonable time. It was very easy to set up. Now I have peace of mind if my puppy gets away. Just knowing all they have to do is scan her ByteTag to contact us!

I am so glad I discovered this tag! I am a dog trainer and advocate, and this tag is a great way to keep all of your dog's essential information up to date and on them at all times. If your dog goes outside or has access to the outside for any reason, it is vital to have a form of identification, pertinent medical info, and your contact number in case they get lost.

My husband works night shift and I work very long hours during the day, so our dog ends up spending much of the day outside (yard is fenced, her dog house is heated/cooled). She is not one to wander off, but I'm glad to know if she does, she'll have this tag with her!

The tag does make a bit of clinging noise like other tags do, so if you’re not a fan of that then they do have a silicone option available.

Also I have not had an issue so I cannot speak for their direct customer service contact, but I did reach out with some questions on Facebook, and they responded pretty quickly!

I got the ByteTag because my puppy has yet to be microchipped and I wanted to make sure we could be reunited if we were separated. The app setup was easy and intuitive. We tested it out and the notifications worked perfectly. The product is very lightweight, but that's a plus for the dog. Recommended to all my doggy parents.

Super cute and good quality. My cats didn't mind them on their collar. Was really easy to set up their info on the app!

Placed an ordered over a month ago and it’s has still not been dispatched. Have chased a couple of times and received promises that it would be sent in a few days but nothing. Have asked for a refund but no response. I would look for an alternative.

Total scammers, disgusting customer service, bottom of the barrel trash bag losers.

I placed an order that they didn't ship (even though their site says 1-2 days) and it's been a week and a half. I decided against the order since they were taking too long, AND I read the terrible reviews all over social media. I checked their website and it says they accept returns up to 30 days after the item is delivered, and up to 60 days for an exchange. My order hasn't even SHIPPED yet, so I emailed them and asked them to cancel my order. Some loser comes back and says holiday sale tags are final sale as depcited on their website... So I go back yet AGAIN to the site to see where it says that, and it says NOTHING about that. I start to process an order to see if maybe it shows up in my cart saying sale items are final sale, and again... NOTHING. When I emailed them the screenshot showing them their OWN return policy, they go radio silent. SUCH TRASH. You will meet your demise and be out of business faster than you will ever even think to imagine... Because while you may get the sales NOW, word will spread faster on how much of a scumbag "company" you are, and you'll go from ahead of the game, to begging for scraps from loan shark investors to try and keep you afloat. TRASH.

Also, to anyone out there, please read social media reviews, and the review on their paid for ads on social media. Drowned out by people who JUST got their order and are happy with it, are complaints from people who were initially happy but are upset with either customer service, the product itself or their "warranty". So many people are complaining that the tag worked for a month, and then stopped. Complained that it broke and were told they'd get a replacement and never did, and so much more.

Breached GDPR. I abandoned my cart and afterwards started receiving marketing emails about the Black Firday sale even though I did NOT opt in to these (the "Email me with news and offers" check box is unchecked by default anyway).

I might have resumed my order but since you have breached my trust and abused my personal data, I will buy tags from a different supplier.

Looking for a tag for my girl. Found these and liked the concept. Once purchased I found it simple to set up, straightforward, and no hidden costs!

Minute I saw the advertisement for the Byte tag Ii good new I had to have two of them. I received it the other day in a timely manner set it all up and it is now on my dogs collar love love love it.

We LOVE our new Byte tag! The profile was easy to set up, allows you to enter multiple phone numbers, and has a privacy feature that allows your personal information to remain private until you alert that your pet is missing. Love the fact that its compatible with any smartphone and that there's no monthly fee!! You will be able to go anywhere with reassurance with byte tag

I bought this for my cat so I could find him if he runs out the door. turns out there isn’t GPS unless someone finds your cat and scans this collar. I tried to return it within two weeks of purchasing and they refused to refund or return it.

Great dog tag!! I am super pleased with my purchase! I have a Great Dane and a Shitzu Pomeranian Mix and they both love their new charms for their collars! I love that you can add a bit about your dogs on the profile. It really gives me hope I’ll always find my dog if they ever get lost! Super cute too!

Haven't had this long enough to use in an emergency, but it appears to be quality, easy to use & does indeed provide some sort of tracking (which I like cuz I have a runner). It looks nice too. When scanned an email is sent to owner so you are aware that pet has been found - great feature that I tested & it works! :)

We love our Bytetag! As a dog trainer who always has their dog with them it gives me a piece of mind knowing if he ever ran away or was lost I know his tag is on him with all my info! Truly incredible

I love this tag. It is practical and it was very easy to activate. My son and I both downloaded the app on our phones and it worked. I thought our cat was going to remove it because she can stand her collar, but it has been great so far.
The pricing it's fair and the quality so far is very good. Two paws up!
