I just ordered (and received) my 3,4, and 5th Bru cup. I originally ordered two on kickstarter and loved them so much, on a recent trip to the UK I was hoping to buy them in a store as gifts for family. I emailed the Bru team and they got back to me promptly! Unfortunately they’re not in stores so I placed an order to get them shipped to my hotel. They said that they weren’t sure they’d arrive in time so we came up with a solution to get them shipped to Canada instead. By the time I got home, the cups arrived only a few days later. I got the purple, green and black. The colours look amazing! I did notice the paint/ceramic at the very top (rim) of the cup isn’t perrrrrfect but it doesn’t really matter since the lid covers it. Since I’ve had the original cups, I’ve had zero complaints for my needs - usually taking coffee with me on my occasional commute to work. I love the way they look, I like how they function and superb customer service!

The Bru cup is ideal, having the ceramic liner really makes a difference to the taste of my coffee. Highly recommend this product if you want a true coffee taste.

Me and my partner bought 4 travel cups from Bru as we are avid tea and coffee drinkers. Unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed in the lid design and mechanism. Its far too footery, difficult to clean and not easy to dismantle and needs cleaned after every use otherwise it starts to smell and taste weird.

I contacted Bru with my concerns and frustrations and they were fantastic to deal with. What a brilliant company. Although they wouldn't refund our cups as we no longer wanted them, they did offer money back which was appreciated as they didn't need to do that. They were understanding of our concerns and disappointments and they were great at responding.

I would have loved these mugs had the lids been much better designed and easy to clean. I hope one day they redesign them so I can use them as they were perfect otherwise.

So I wouldn't recommend the cup due to how dirty the lids get from the residue from the coffee and tea but I would say that the company really value its customers and really care about their experience.

Excellent company to deal with. The products are brilliant especially the bru coffee travel mug.

I ordered the 16oz Lilac travel mug in February 2026. It was one of the few good-looking travel mugs with a slim enough base to fit in my (old) car’s cup holder.

It looks great, the ceramic coating feels lovely, and I use it every day. When the lid works properly, it really is leakproof. Unfortunately, that’s not consistently the case. The lid frequently gets stuck in the open position, meaning you have to disassemble and reassemble it to get it working again. This can be particularly frustrating if you’re in a hurry or already in the car when you realise it’s stuck.

The lid also needs to be completely disassembled and reassembled for washing, which I find unnecessarily fiddly when you have to do it every day. On top of that, the open and closed positions look very similar, so it’s surprisingly easy to leave it in the open position and spill your drink everywhere. Even after using it daily for six months, I still occasionally do this.

For the price, I expected a product that was not only stylish but also more ergonomic and intuitive to use. Having to fiddle with the lid so often, whether because it gets stuck or simply because it needs to be disassembled for cleaning, makes it more effort than I think a good travel mug should be.

My partner and I love the cups!

The cup is quite solid as to it's structure. Holds the drink well. The push-cap is getting stuck on open. Hard to get it to unstick and seal the opening. Would really appreciate a simple lid without any extra mechanics that breaks easily. The ceramic bit is just metal that is coated in ceramic, rather then an actual ceramic insert. That was not clear from the listing. Delivery was fine. The jug came well packed. The jug is only used for cold kefir, don't know how the hot liquid would hold in there.
The outside of the jug is extremely slippery due to design. Very easy to drop.
Update: Following my review one of the BRU team has contacted my and offered cap replacement. Sent out promptly. Works well.

We have ordered a travel mug that came with failed lid that would open and will not close again. They not only handled it all with having customer service in mind but also have sent a small mug as a present. Best recommendation because the big travel mug is worth all the trouble truly! Best ever travel mug that fits perfectly in the car.

Excellent products, and also a really great company. I had an unfortunate issue with my lid and they were so quick to reach out, apologetic, and replaced it immediately PLUS gave me a free gift as an extra 'sorry'. Plus the lid works amazingly now! They clearly care about their brand and customers. Been using their products for over 5 years now and would never look anywhere else.

It’s actually leak-proof! I’ve been loooing for one for ages that is leaf-proof and keeps my tea hot for a long time and this is perfect. Nice to drink from too 👍

I recently switched from stainless-steel travel flasks to Bru ceramic-lined cups, and I absolutely love them.

The biggest difference is the taste. My coffee tastes exactly as it did when it was freshly brewed, with none of the slight metallic flavour I sometimes noticed with stainless steel. Both cups I bought feel well made, keep my drinks warm and is now my preferred choice for coffee on the go.

I would highly recommend Bru to anyone who cares about preserving the proper taste of their coffee. I would definitely buy from them again!

Definitely the best coffee mug I've owned. Coffee stays hot for hours and tastes so much better than even stainless steel mugs. Seals tightly enough that you never worry when tossing the mug in a bag. Super happy with the purchase!

Amazing mug with ceramic coating. One of a kind!!
I absolutely love the mug, the ceramic coating is the best as your coffee will not get that metallic taste. The only thing is the lid. It is almost perfect but not quite. When you open and close it makes a big noise that in a mtng is not very convenient. also, there is a part that is difficult to clean. Other than that, the mug is amazing
