From my first enquiry phone call to driving away in my new car browns were brilliant.

I saw the car online but had to travel from Scotland for a test drive, the team were great keeping me updated with my many questions until I was able to get down almost a week later. Special mention to Alex who phoned me back after he had finished work one night to discuss a trade in query.

I cannot recommend Brown’s of Richmond highly enough. I was buying a car from them all the way from Northern Ireland, and from my very first inquiry to post-purchase, the experience was absolutely fantastic.

Buying a car from across the water can be daunting, but they made it completely stress-free. They were incredibly open, honest, and transparent about the vehicle. What really blew me away was their customer service; they actually helped me figure out the best travel route to get from NI to Richmond in North Yorkshire, and they even sent a driver to pick me up from Darlington station!

Fraser and Tim both took genuine time to speak with me, answering all my questions with absolute kindness and professionalism. Their service didn't just stop when I handed over the money, either—the aftercare and ongoing support have been wonderful. Friendly, honest, and going above and beyond. Five stars all the way!

Excellent experience. Really nice offices they work from. Coffee and biscuits on arrival! Tim and Ian were very knowledgable on EVs which is great as a first time EV buyer. Never felt pressured to buy which is nice. Answered all my questions and I felt I had enough good information to make a purchase. That’s how sales should be done!

My husband and I accompanied our son at the weekend when he went to view a Tesla Y. He had already been in contact with Lewis who had sent him a very helpful video of the car (offered as soon as he learnt that we live 2 hours away) and answered some questions our son had.
Lewis was so helpful and went above and beyond by continuing a WhatsApp conversation about the car, and the company, well after usual working hours.
When we arrived on Saturday the welcome from everyone we met couldn’t have been warmer and more genuine and it’s very evident that little things, and exceptional customer service, really matter to them.
The car had been kept under cover for the viewing which was appreciated as it was pouring with rain. Lewis shared a wealth of information and it’s clear he is extremely knowledgeable about Teslas.
My son decided to purchase the car and the transaction was processed efficiently and professionally with lots of warmth and friendliness - and totally without pressure.
The whole experience was positive from first phone enquiry with Fraser, the test drive with Harry, some very helpful input from Michael during our visit on Saturday, right through to the amazing care attention we received from Lewis.
All the other reviews on here reflect exactly what we experienced, and we can’t recommend Browns of Richmond highly enough. Top class in every way and we would buy from them again without a moment’s hesitation.

We are so pleased with our new car. We travelled 2 hours from Derby to see and collect the car and it was well worth the trip. Lewis went above and beyond, he immediately made a video of the interior and exterior of the car for us to see, he was honest about the condition of the car so that we didn’t have a wasted trip. He was answering messages on his days off, and made sure everything was ready in advance of us coming. This was our first electric car, and he answered lots of our questions and gave us the reassurance we needed.

So after being messed around by another garage for 4 weeks I came across Browns Of Richmond after reading their reviews I decided to go and test drive a car that appealed to me. My salesman Ian was very informative sent my personalised video's and pictures of the car.
This was my first EV so I was apprehensive, but team at Brown's put my mind at ease and answered all my concerns and explained any warranty products which they offer.
When I was picking up the car Ian done a precise handover explaining all the features of the car, as it has alot of technology compared to my previous car.
Car was in great condition and valeted to a high standard.
