Funniest show I've seen in years (and I'm ancient). Brilliantly irreverent. singing, dancing, acting all wonderful. Everybody left with a smile on their face. What more could you ask for?

Best show in town.
This is undoubtably one of the best shows I’ve seen for a long time. It has absolutely everything for people of all ages. Magnificent stage direction and creativity. Classical ballet modern dance Pathis emotion humour.. It is very uplifting and beautifully done. I would like to see it again.
The woman in mind
The show is long and starts slow. It’s a bit controversial and basically immerses viewer into someone else - a bored housewife with dull fam life, which consists of equally dull husband, estranged son, and neurotic sister -in-law as her only other companion - into her nervous breakdown. That involves her spending mentally considerable time in a happy family fantasy, still at times bizarre, and these 2 “realities” merge in the end into grotesque and even more confusing and ugly grande finale. Not for everyone, I didn’t care to be forced into that experience. As someone who had nervous breakdown herself, I felt sympathetic about heroine, played brilliantly by the actress. But not so much at times… if I would know better in advance what it will be about I wouldn’t go… I don’t believe in sharing such sad stories beyond group therapies …
It was more than I could expect
It was more than I could expect, so many people on the stage, but no mistakes, everything went perfectly. They danced well, and the singers were great, even the reserve who had to jump in suddenly.

A missed opportunity
A missed opportunity. Not enough Douglas Adams and too much panto style romance. It felt thin and lacking detail in terms of the original story. Too much standing around waiting and not enough to interact with. Marvin was great but not integrated into the story. Zephod was excellent but again not really involved the story and mainly moved people from on room to another, I do feel that it could be improved with not that much effort.
Also it felt like it was aimed at a younger audience when the audience were mainly 50+.
Sp coal effects and acting very good
Sp coal effects and acting very good. Staff very courteous and helpful .
Mostly Harmless
Technically clever. Singing excellent. Dancing energetic. But context and continuity struggled and there were no laughs. Where was the perceptive, mind-blowing comedy which made The Hitchhiker's Guide so special?
Ford's speedy, shouty delivery only worked some of the time to let us know what was happening, where we were. Why on Earth (or in the Galaxy) not feature The Guide, a talking book central to the tales, to guide the audience? Would've been so much better, and more in keeping with the original.
Some less familiar with the plot thought the Heart of Gold was a waiting room. No sense of being transported improbably, nor of Zaphod's role in it all (other than his supposed presidency).
Arrival on the Vogon ship was badly handled. What were the bays about? Lots of nothing happening until the inexplicable invasion of gospel singers. Marvin sadly incidental, insufficiently amplified. The story thread struggling, culminating in a noisy, flashy ending that had run out of ideas.
The best I can say about this pastiche of Douglas Adams' creative imagination is that it was Mostly Harmless.
