Update: Please note I am note keeping the booking as the response says below. I still have not received a refund and they said it can take as long as 10 days to get my refund.
As you can see it’s challenging to communicate with this company.
Original Review: The price listed on the website is a fraction of the cost of the trip. If I had known I would have picked a different retreat. I am really excited about visiting the resort so I am going to keep the reservation. But disappointed with the cost discrepancy that occurred.
Update: after issuing me a voucher for the money I paid for the retreat I had to initiate the refund separately. I just got an email telling me it’s going to take 5-7 days for the “money to find its way back to me”.
This is completely unacceptable under the circumstances. I feel like I have been scammed.

Dear Sabrina,
Thank you for flagging this, and we're so sorry for the mix-up with the pricing on your retreat!
Here's what happened: the host accidentally listed the nightly rate on the platform rather than the price for the full package, which understandably made things confusing when you were putting your booking together.
As soon as this was brought to our attention, we pulled the listing down straight away so no other guests could run into the same mix-up, and we've been working directly with the host since then to get the listing corrected and make sure the pricing is clear going forward.
We're so glad to hear you're keeping your reservation and still excited about the trip! We know pricing confusion isn't the best start to planning a retreat, so we appreciate you bearing with us while we sorted it out.
Our support team's here if you need anything at all in the lead-up to your trip, and we hope you have a wonderful and well-deserved time.
Hi Sabrina,
Thank you for taking the time to update your review. We're sorry your plans changed and you decided to cancel rather than keep your reservation.
We refunded your booking in full on August 11th, and you kindly let us know by email on August 18th that the money had safely landed in your account. Thank you for confirming that with us at the time.
We're sorry the pricing mix-up made planning this trip more stressful than it should have been. We know how exciting it is to find a retreat you love, and confusion around cost is the last thing anyone wants in that moment. We've made sure the pricing on this listing is now clear, so future guests can book with full peace of mind.
Wishing you lots of rest, joy, and beautiful adventures ahead!
Many Blessings,
Amanda

Booking process
Some of the colleagues at BookRetreats already know that I had a very difficult time registering for the retreat online. There is a problem with the box/es to enter credit card details. I tried to do it on my iPad, both in Safari and Chrome, then tried on a regular computer. Charlotte sent me a link, but it took me to the same site. I finally was able to register using my iPhone. I don’t know what the problem is, but it took me some frustrating hours over two or three days to finish the registration and send a down payment.
It’s done now and I’m looking forward to the retreat.

Hi Kathy,
Technical hiccup alert! Thank you for sharing your feedback and for sticking with us on this one...
I know your lovely host Charlotte was trying to keep those dates safe for you by placing them on hold, but this unfortunately created the tech issue in our system with the link she shared.
I apologize for the hassle it caused, but I'm so glad that you're now all set. Enjoy the countdown to your retreat!

Seems great on price
Seems great on price, location and liked vibes of announcement, didn't really dig deep but seems like a very good option in Spain so far, think I'm just rating the booking process here and not the experience itself which I've not yet had

At first I was disappointed but have left feeling reborn
At first I was disappointed. I tried to book 2 retreats only to find after booking and getting excited (this was my first solo trip ever so I was nervous to go through with the booking each time) only to have the hosts contact me and explain there was no vacancy.
The team at book retreats were amazing, reaching out making new suggestions and refunding my deposits.
Very quickly I found the place world retreat and the hosts there contacted me to offer me a place, they were wonderful, answered any questions and reassured me.
On arrival they met me at the airport and from that moment on I felt amazing.
I have just been through a 3 year breakup of a 30 year relationship. This was the BEST thing I have ever done for myself!
Amazing people, yoga and massage, fun times on the SUP, beach and island trip.
I did not want to leave!
Thank you to book retreats and everyone at the place world from the bottom of my heart
