First time using
First time using - I found several retreats last minute and was able to secure my spot. Appreciated follow up when one didn't reply to confirm right away (they were on retreat themselves!). So far so good !

athe site is great but 2 najor things were incorrect with the booking process:
1. I looked at a retreat in Wonderland Koh Pangan ( and I think it happened with another one , im not sure). The price that was shown was half the price that i was asked ro pay
2.For the retreat I registered- I tried to pay through
your site but I couldnt. There is a technical problem there. I needed to contact the place and ask them to send me a link for the payment

Hi Gali, Amanda here from the Bookretreats.com Team.
Thank you for sharing this feedback. I'm sorry your booking experience didn't go as smoothly as we'd want for anyone booking a retreat through us.
We looked into the technical problem you mentioned, and the retreat you booked was set up by your host as a "request to book first" type listing. That's why you needed to coordinate directly with them before you could go ahead and make your booking on our site.
We'd also like to get to the bottom of the pricing issue you mentioned. We sent a couple of follow-up emails after your review to ask for a few more details, but haven't connected yet. Whenever it's convenient for you, we're ready to pick this up.
You can reply to either of those emails, or reach us directly at support@bookretreats.com and we'll follow up right away.
Thanks again for taking the time to share this. We want every guest's booking experience to be a good one, and feedback like yours helps us catch where it isn't.
Many Blessings,
Amanda

taking deposit first and advising to wait for the confirmation from the host, while people already booked flights .... what if host will advise no availability for the dates? People book leaves and flights to adjust, if you have to confirm with the host first, why taking the deposit then?

Hi Oksana,
Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts! We know how important it is to have peace of mind when planning a trip, and we'd love to share a little context on how this process is actually built to protect you.
First of all, we are so glad everything worked out wonderfully for your trip! Since you reached out to your host beforehand, your dates were completely secure from the start.
The automated message you saw is just a safety net we send to everyone. We collect the deposit right away to lock in your spot with the host.
However, because unexpected scheduling overlaps can happen in real time, we always advise in black and white to hold off on buying flights until that final green light is given.
Our biggest priority is making sure no one loses money on non-refundable transportation! If an unexpected conflict ever does happen and a host can't accept the booking, we refund that deposit immediately.
We’re so sorry if this standard reminder caused any extra anxiety before your trip. We appreciate your feedback, as it helps us keep improving for the whole community. Wishing you wonderful and safe travels ahead!
Much love,
Amanda

I spent 30days in Ho Chi Minh City - district 7 @ SSG
I spent 30days in Ho Chi Minh City in district 7, my Luxury apartment was right next to my training ground @ SSG Gym, probably the most facilitating gym I’ve been in including personal training for Boxing, Muay Thai, MMA & CrossFit! This place has everything you can imagine including cages, rings, running track and vast equipment as well as a free weight gym with sauna and ice baths not forgetting a gym bar and shop!
During my time there I had a Host named Tai who was there in the hotel and just on the end of the phone for anything I may need. He was very helpful, professional, accurate and prompt with responses and faciltated any of my needs even down to transportation when travelling through different districts!
His work ethic was very humble and appreciated for everything I asked from him, it really does make things a lot quicker when you have a host like Tai who has good knowledge of the local community and connections taking on all the paper work for you so you can just crack on like I did with my gym and boxing!
Lastly to finish off my long duration there he brought me some gifts for myself and girls including the boxing gloves I had to train with and a nice SSG logo bag which was very much appreciated!
I’m impressed Tai, I show my gratitude for your relentless support and hospitality!
Thanks Bro 🙏🏽
