I booked Bond clean experts for the job to be done on the friday before we handed the keys back. I was told they would be there between 7 and 7:30am and paid a deposit, they then demanded full payment upfront, I told them I'm not paying before a service so they agreed I'd pay once the team had turned up. No one showed up, by 9 I was able to reach the HO and they gave the age old excuse of a head gasket blew. I then had a text from the operator an hour later saying he had a doctors appointment and he'll come tomorrow, even though I'd explained it was the last day. So they couldn't even get their lies straight. I had kids at home and I was working so I tried desperately to do what I could with what I could buy from bunnings in as quick as I could. It was not good enough and I have now been stung by the rental company and lost part of my deposit. Do not use this company.

If I could give zero stars I would, Absolutely scummy practices from this business. Qouted $1200 for a bond clean that I accepted only to be told it would an additional $400 which I reluctantly paid. The clean was a disgrace they used an acidic chemical to clean the walls that caused damage that lost us our bond. On top of that carpets and tiles were done incredibly poorly. Now I'm in the process of taking them to court due to them not abiding to there own Terms and Conditions. After the repairs and the loss of income I'm now out of pocket over $7000, All I can say is don't trust this company they will absolutely take advantage of you

Firstly they were late and they could not speak any English at all. They were supposed to clean the cooktop and oven but only cleaned the oven. I was charged a deposit and then the invoice did not include the deposit - there was little clarification with the whole process.

Do not trust this company. The bond clean was avergae at best, didnt clean the light fittings as instructed, also the carpet looked no different after the $140 carpet clean. Also when i returned to the property the next day all my cleaning products had been stolen. When i asked the company about it, they said they were all empty when somw of it was brand new. There was iver $50 worth of cleaning products and scourers and paper towels there. Now they wont return my calls.

Great bond clener

As a property manager I know what is involved in a bond clean. The rip off merchants clearly do not. Paid $949 for a bond clean and pest control - no carpet cleaning, when they arrived they would not go ahead until full payment received then hour later get a call extorting $400 more for extra chemical clean on floors under where the fridge and washing machine sat. After being told they would leave I had no choice but to pay it as house settled the next afternoon. They did not do pest control and refuse to refund me that portion of the bill. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THESE PEOPLE!!!!

If I could give zero stars, I would. Bond Clean Expert delivered what can only be described as a cleaning-themed disaster.

I booked them three weeks in advance to prepare our home for sale, expecting a professional service. What I got was damage, distress, and a masterclass in how not to run a business.

Let’s start with their claim of “no hidden charges.” Hilarious. At the 11th hour — right before they were supposed to begin — they demanded an extra $300. Why? Because I hadn’t mentioned one panel of glass louvres, and the flyscreens were apparently too dirty for their delicate sensibilities. Imagine that — dirt, during a bond clean. Outrageous.

Then came the wreckage:
The garage door remote? Taken. Never returned.
The outdoor blinds remote? Broken by their staff.
Bamboo floors? Soaked to the point that a fuse blew and water leaked into the garage. The neighbors knew we weren't home and came over to make sure a pipe hadn't burst
Rubbish left behind, despite that being part of the quoted service.

When I raised these issues, their co-called customer team were rude. Their solution? A re-clean. By these cowboys? Why on earth would I want them back — so they could break a few more things and maybe set the place on fire?

We paid $600 upfront — plus their surprise $300 ransom — and still ended up cleaning it ourselves for three hours the night before staging.

And here’s the kicker: they don’t even have a Google business page or a review section on their website. Funny that. Almost like they don’t want feedback from paying customers. Because if they did, this review would be tattooed across their homepage.

After all that? Silence. No apology. No refund. No accountability.

Avoid this company like black mold. Unprofessional, shady, and MIA when things go wrong.

Hired this company for an end of lease bond clean. They left the house no more cleaner than when I vacated, walls were still dirty, as they said they can only spot clean, which they did late evening and they had poor lighting, the windows had wipe marks left on them. Don’t get me started with the carpet clean. It bought all dirt to the top and marks were still left behind. Please do not waste your money on these guys, I’ve had to pay double bond clean now costing well over $2000.

I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with the conduct of these cleaners during the 3/6/25 service at my property. I want to warn others!

Their team contacted me multiple times during business hours to demand an additional $200 for a so-called "wall treatment” and then $350 for “mould”. When I immediately arranged for someone to inspect the walls and request evidence of the need for these charges, their staff were unable to provide any justification and appeared visibly unprepared to support their claim. This behavior comes across as nothing short of an opportunistic attempt to extract more money on the assumption that I would not be able to verify the quality or necessity of the work.

To make matters worse, I have now received correspondence from their office stating that the 7-day guarantee on their work will not apply to the whole job unless I agree to pay the additional $550. This is entirely unacceptable. The team needed to simply perform the job we paid $1000 for, to the agreed standard without this unprofessionalism and extortion. Attempting to invalidate your guarantee unless additional, unjustified charges are paid amounts to coercion and is potentially unlawful. The original quote given to us did not state extra charges were due if you saw fit with zero evidence of what was needed.

We did not pay any additional amount because that was not backed by clear, documented evidence and agreed upon in advance. Due to BCE not guaranteeing their work, the real estate agent did not pass us for the bond clean and are charging us an additional $1000 to have it done by their cleaners and what a waste of time for us and them.

There was no resolution from BCE and I have reported this to ACCC and will continue to post FAR and WIDE to warn everyone I possibly can about this!

Massive joke, quoted me $400 for the whole house, then comes to the day and want to try and hit me with an extra $200 worth of hidden fees. Didn't clean very well, had to reclean the whole house.

Worst Bond Cleaning company ever. Lazy and does not do the job they are paid for. On the day of the clean asked us to pay an extra $390 to do the walls and blinds as they said it was not included. Still didnt clean the walls or blinds. The cleaners pretended to not speak english. When asked why they didnt kept saying wait for final report from real estate and then they will do it. Shouldnt it have been done anyway for a bond clean and why did we pay for it to be done if they didnt do it. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY

I engaged Bond Clean Expert to perform an end of tenancy clean for my apartment. They did a terrible job of cleaning in the first instance, then they failed to resolve the issues with my letting agent. Since this time they have refused to answer emails and phone calls to follow up on this and even hung up the phone mid call when I did get through. I have had to refer this matter to consumer protection as I was so disgusted with the service. 0 stars.
