These people are criminal grifters. Turned up almost 90 minutes late for a prepaid bond clean of a Teneriffe wool store apartment, waited until my wife had left the apartment to call and demand an additional $990 for a total of almost 2k. The office staff screamed at my wife down the phone for refusing to be extorted. Avoid this outfit, terrible, dishonest people who guaranteed will attempt to rip you off. Their quotes cannot be trusted. There is nothing unusual about the apartment at all, and zero justification for their bullying demands.

Looks like we received the same scamming treatment as others here who have posted a review of this abhorrent and pathetic excuse for a cleaning company. Money demanded up front for a bond exit clean, then extra on the day prior to commencing as the house (standard suburban 4x2) was deemed "larger" than described. There was no evidence of any cleaning chemicals used, extremely poor quality of cleaning - dirt and grime still everywhere and spread further by use of the same cloth through out, windows not cleaned, tracks not cleaned - the list goes on. Even after they attended for a "re-clean" the issues still weren't rectified. We spent an additional 6 hours cleaning the property ourselves to bring it up to the standard you would expect from an "expert" cleaning co. are there enough people affected here for a class action?? AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!

If I could leave minus stars I would. Absolutely shocking and scamful company. I booked a bond clean. I was quoted $600. They then said it needed a 2 day chemical clean and quoted $1550. They refused to do any cleaning. They were extremely rude and disrespectful. Hanging up on me several times. They then charged me $330 cancellation fee despite them cancelling, not me. DO NOT USE THIS SCAMMER company. Outrageous. They take your money and don’t do anything. Have reported and made official complaint to Consumer Protection

I do not recommend this company at all. Showed up late. No cleaning items. Rude and demanded money before starting the job even though I had paid my deposit online. VERY INTIMIDATING on the phone and unable to reach management to talk to them. Pushing for money and not providing a service. Absolutely disgusting service. Avoid them!

Extremely disappointing experience.

We hired this company for a bond clean, and the property failed final inspection due to obvious issues (dirty windows and oil residue on the stove). I explicitly advised them in advance of the inspection date and was verbally assured that any issues identified would be rectified.

When problems were raised, they attempted to hide behind a “7-day guarantee” and then demanded an additional $180 to fix their own poor workmanship. This is not how a professional bond cleaning service should operate.

A bond clean should be inspection-ready, and standing by verbal assurances matters. I would not recommend this company to anyone who wants peace of mind or accountability.

We hired this business for a bond clean. We were quoted $800. On the day of the clean, they demanded an additional $400 claiming the bathroom glass and walls were “extra dirty” and threatened to cancel and keep the $900 we already paid if we didn’t pay. We did not agree to any additional charges, and no clause in the quote allowed this. This appears to be misleading and unfair conduct under Australian Consumer Law. We request investigation and assistance to recover the overcharged amount.

I engaged Bond Clean Expert for an end-of-lease bond clean, which included a written re-clean guarantee.

After the real estate agent identified issues, I requested a re-clean. I then received an email from the company confirming that the re-clean had been completed.

This later turned out to be false. The real estate agent confirmed the property was locked, the keys were not collected, and no re-clean took place. On subsequent inspection, the original issues were still present.

As a result, I had to engage another cleaner at my own expense to meet the bond requirements.

I find it extremely concerning that a service was confirmed in writing when it had not occurred. Based on my experience, I would not rely on the re-clean guarantee and would advise others to proceed with caution.

This company is an absolute rip off. They quote an amount and then within five minutes of starting call and demand an extra $450. The cleaning job they did was absolutely appalling, dirty windows, floors, benches, window sills. They refuse to attend to reclean, which is what they guarantee. If the bond inspection fails they guarantee they will reclean and fix the issues. We’ve never dealt with such a terrible, rip off and unprofessional company. Avoid them!

I organised cleaning in with this company. They arrived later then planned and it just kept going down hill from there. I was contacted mid clean and asked to pay sn extra $120 for mould in the bathroom. I stupidly paid it without evidence. Whe i got to the property and asked the 2 cleaners still there where the mould was they didnt know ehat i was talking about. Back office scam. I then did a walk through with the cleaner who missed moping parts under where the fridge and dishwasher were. When i pointed this out he said it wouldnt come off. I used their mop and scrubbed the floor and showed the how to remove it. I pointed out parts they missed around the house and then was told to cintact their bsck office (located in QLD). I sent them photos of what was left and was told to send the realestate repirt within 24 hiurs and they would come back. The photos they even sent me to prove the cleaning was done clearly showed it was not done properly. DO NOT RECCOMEND

Our tenants had an exit bond clean performed by these guys. The asked for cash up front ($2k in our case). They did an average job at best. Lied about the work they performed and provided no evidence. They went back 72h after they were originally onsite and argued about how their work was sub standard saying it was “fine”. These guys finally result was another company had to come in and do the work again at the tenants cost.

These guys are unprofessional, you never know who you are talking to, their emails have no signatures on them their phone always rings out. When you get hold of someone you have to get them to repeat everything as there is a massive language barrier.

Long story short stay away from these guys they do terrible job, are untrustworthy, they lie and you end up having to get a reputable company in to do it all again anyway. Don’t pay twice pay once to a reputable company.

DO NOT BOOK THIS COMPANY - COMPLETE SCAM AND EXTORTION

When I was initially looking for a bond cleaner, I contacted multiple companies.. This company followed up persistently with calls and messages, and due to how stressful and time-consuming moving is, I chose them as it seemed the quickest and easiest option. They sent me a quote and a breakdown of what would be included in the bond clean via text message. I replied with an update regarding the number of stairs and additional items required, and they revised the quote accordingly. I paid a $50 deposit and was advised the remaining balance could be paid on the day of the clean.

As I had already moved out, I left the property unlocked. On the day of the clean at 7:29am, the cleaner (“Fancy”) messaged saying they had arrived and requested payment of the remaining $749 before starting. I paid immediately, sent proof of payment, and received confirmation at 8:05am. Almost straight after paying the full quoted amount, I received a call from the apparent “manager.”

At 8:18am, the manager asked questions like, if I had any children, pets and my length of tenancy, then demanded an additional $700, claiming I hadn’t disclosed the property was three storeys, had glass on the balcony, an extra toilet and a study nook, saying this made it “double the work.” The property was a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom townhouse, how is those small items DOUBLE?! The lower level was a garage and small laundry, and the “study nook” was simply a fixed bench and only 3 small panels of glass on my balcony. I had already advised there were two flights of stairs and the quote was updated. I refused to pay the extra amount and said I would do the so-called “extra items” myself, but he refused to start unless I paid the $700.

The conversation became heated and extremely unprofessional. When I asked to speak to someone above him, he said he actually owned the company, meaning he had misrepresented himself as a manager. He made dismissive and offensive comments, including saying I was “just upset because I didn’t want to pay the extra money” and mocking me about having to each him skills in my “sob story.” I was shocked by how I was spoken to. He refused to proceed with the agreed bond clean unless I paid more.

My partner attempted to speak with him and was hung up on mid-call. I sent screenshots of the original bond clean checklist they provided, and he replied saying he would not complete it because it was a bond clean checklist despite this being exactly what I paid for. He stated he would only allow a “spring clean.”

After this, I checked reviews and found many similar complaints about customers being pressured into paying extra on the day under threat of cancellation. The behaviour matched exactly.

The owner hung up immediately when calls were recorded, then changed his tone once recording was confirmed the second time around. I received multiple conflicting messages saying the job was cancelled, then started, then that cleaners would leave by 1:30pm, then job being cancelled within 8 minutes unless I sent a spring clean list. At 9:09am I was told, “No worries, consider this cancelled.”

I later returned to the unit and found only some sweeping on my balcony had been done using my own broom, with dirt left in a pile (photos taken).

I paid $799 in total and was refunded only $339, with no bond clean completed and an extraordinary amount of stress caused. I have recordings, text messages, photos and receipts and will be pursuing this with consumer authorities.

Bond clean experts are unprofessional scam like business.

I was quoted an amount prior to the start date of the clean and upon arriving they demanded me to pay an extra $300 and threatening to stop cleaning and charge me more until I made a decision.

After they completed the clean I inspected the property and it was completely unacceptable! Extremely poor workman ship and missed a number of things.

This company is based in Brisbane so they say and they will not send some one out to the property to quote accurately.

I was dealing with a man named Ash on the phone and he was so unhelpful and rude. What they advise and what they deliver is unimaginably poor.

If you want a proper exit clean with not issues then I would recommend looking elsewhere as this is very poor and I’m extremely disappointed.

I booked BCE Expert Clean for a bond clean at my home (Gold Coast) and the experience was shocking from start to finish.
After giving me a fixed quote—including carpet cleaning—and taking full payment in advance, they called me during the job demanding an extra $200–$300. They told me the work wouldn’t continue unless I paid immediately. And If I didn't pay then they would consider it a cancellation and I would only receive some of mat money back, after their cancellation fee. This happened the day before property settlement, late in the afternoon,, leaving me no choice but to pay under pressure. It felt like being held to ransom.
Even worse, the next day the toilets weren't working during the buyers’ inspection because BCE had turned off the cistern water supply without permission. This created confusion, delayed the settlement process, and resulted in a financial reduction that left me out of pocket by hundreds of dollars.
When I tried to resolve the issue, BCE denied everything, falsely claimed I had agreed to extra fees, and refused to accept responsibility for the water issue—even though they were the last people inside the property.
The entire experience was stressful, misleading, and financially damaging. Their conduct felt coercive and unprofessional, and they showed no genuine attempt to resolve the matter.
I strongly recommend avoiding BCE Expert Clean.

We hired Bond Clean Expert for bond cleaning. Initially, the team was friendly and accommodating over the phone. I explained the condition of the property and our need for a quick turnaround. They quoted approximately $800 for a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home, including a kitchen, lounge, and garage. However, they insisted on full payment up front, stating that cleaners wouldn't begin work without receiving it. After briefly meeting the cleaners and leaving the property, we received a call within 15 minutes claiming the property was in "terrible condition" and required additional services like chemical and steam cleaning - at an extra cost. We questioned why this wasn't assessed before starting or finalising the quote, especially since payment was required in advance. The conversation quickly escalated, becoming unprofessional and aggressive. We were spoken to disrespectfully, with comments such as 'use your brain before speaking' and being called pathetic. When we asked for the business's full name and address, the individual hesitated and eventually gave a name- Chetan Singh. They also made inappropriate legal threats, repeatedly mentioning they had someone 'on the law side'. At one point, they claimed the cleaners had stopped work, yet later said we were already into the second hour and would be charged accordingly. Despite cleaners being at the property for less than an hour, we were told no refund would be issued, as they needed to pay the cleaners for two hours. Overall, this was a TERRIBLE experience and a scam. I strongly advise others to be cautious when dealing with this business and never make full payment upfront without a clear, finalised quote and written terms.

Absolutely the WORST Experience!

Scammers, aggressive behavior, false advertisement, deceptive, manipulative, taunting and simply blatant liars!

They scammed extra money out of me on the day of the bond clean after I opened up for the cleaner. They forced me to pay for extra services and refused to continue unless I pay them the extra money as apparently they needed 'extra' 'specialised' equipment to clean my blinds and walls- which was absolutely ridiculous - Jiff could clean the small marks off! When I checked my apartment after they had cleaned, they didn't even clean the walls, nor did they clean the blinds!

I put in a complaint to them and they refused to put me in touch with their manager. They also simply refused to refund me my extra money. They asked me to provide evidence, which I did, but then simply sent an email saying that the photos they received from the cleaner were sufficient, and they could not see anything wrong with it. YES- because they left out the blinds and the walls where they DID NOT CLEAN! So they then said that the issue is resolved and they hope I can give them good feedback. Ridiculous! General tactics by scammers...sending you off on a goose chase and making it hard to get a fair service. All I wanted was for them to do the job they quoted me for, and that I paid for.

After much time spent on the phone that morning and a lot of going-around in circles with the person on the phone who was simply not helpful AT ALL. I kept asking for the manager and his words: " I am sorry, I do not have the authority to contact my manager". What? I realised these people were not going to refund me my extra money so I had to organise for them to come back and clean the things they left out.

I then had to leave work again the next day to open up for them. The cleaner arrived with literally only normal cleaning products (no 'special equipment') and blatantly admitted that he FORGOT to clean the blinds! He also simply used those normal cleaning products with his bare hands - no cloves, no mask! So much for 'extra chemicals required'.

The cleaner simply also refused to clean my balcony glass, throwing things down, yelling at me saying that he will not clean the outside of my apartment - which at no point did I ask him to scour the outside off my apartment building to clean the outside windows! I simply asked him to clean the INSIDE balcony windows- as per the quote.

Throughout this whole experience, they have provided no help, no reasoning, simply gaslighting and sending me in circles with their arguments. Apparently the 'balcony cleaning' only involves sweeping and mopping, no cleaning of the railing or the windows- noooo, those things are extra!

They simply refused to refund that extra money I had to pay for 0 service, and tried to bribe me by saying they will come back and clean if I take my previous review off. Yes, they called me multiple times saying (very innocently) that they don't understand why I left a bad review and that they came back and cleaned - so I should take my review off. Which is crazy to me how they want to keep scamming others. So I will NOT take my review off - I honestly don't want anyone to go through this as well.

SO PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR AND DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!

I wish I read a bad review before I used them. It is already ridiculous the prices that people have to pay for bond cleaning and then to be scammed extra money as well - what is this world becoming! Living expenses are so crazy as is!

So, overall, I hope that this review will save at least one person to not be scammed!

I they don’t use proper cleaning products and it does not lift anything other than dust. Their Capet cleaning also left marks on the carpet I easily cleaned by hand after they had failed.

They had to come back and redo the job and the reclean made absolutely no difference. I had a few days to get my bond back and they stopped responding to emails and phone calls so I had to buy a bunch of cleaning products and do it myself. When I complained and asked for a partial refund they said they still had time to come back and clean it but the deadline had already passed. They wasted my time and money. Don’t use theme
