I liked the way it was divided in sections to help retain along the way .. test memory..
And take the fear off not remembering everything all at once ... I promise to be extremely safe on a boat .. I'm backup in the event my husband has a heart attack.. I need to know what to do & who to call👩‍✈️🚣‍♀️

I reviewed all chapters and completed each chapter test. I took notes as I went along. Did have some problems with the computer but the help line got me through the issues.

Great course very well put together and easy to follow.

The instructors were excellent and covered the course subject areas very thoroughly. Some of the quiz and exam questions were vague or ambiguous and difficult to interpret.

This course was extremely annoying to take due to the 10 second sail boat intro on almost every module! By the time I was on the 2nd or 3rd module I was totally distracted on how to move through these introductions. This also needlessly increased the time it took to take each module and thus course! This was dropped on the last few modules and it was much better as I stopped stewing about having to try to skip through that time consuming intro!

Other than that, Great class!

Your online training was concise and to the point with the training videos and literature. It was simple to understand and pre you for the exam. Great Job

Online New York State Safety Boating course organized very well from all angles with very good quality. I learned a lot about boating from the course. The curriculum, quiz, test and exam are very helpful for my future boat journeys.

The course, quizes and final test were not stressful and I learned a great deal about safety and how to properly operate a pleasure craft. I would have one suggestion . . . . when I answered a question (questions) incorrectly on either a quiz or the final test, knowing what question(s) were incorrect would allowed me to go back and study and/or review that section of the course to ensure I don't make "any" errors when operating a pleasure craft....

I started out weak on Chapter one. Not knowing the difference between the Outboard and Stern drive motor illustration. After I finally completed Chapter One I began to follow along with the voice and written words. Sometimes stopping and reviewing the chapter soon became a habit and I gained an understanding of what the chapter was about. I received a completion score of 94% which I'm very proud of. Thank you Boaterexam for the wonderful course you have given me.

The course was very thorough and covered each topic in great detail. The price was reasonable. The video content kept the course interesting and made intaking the information much easier. Great course, I would highly recommend it.
