My first and last purchase from this…
My first and last purchase from this over-hyped good-for-nothing brand
First of all, I'm a big believer in India's streetwear and D2C story. MARCH, Andaman, Hamptons, Bombay Shirt Company are all solid examples of superior product quality and uniqueness.
I have even purchased from other street wear brands like Veloce, Stamp Duty, etc.
I was always skeptical of Bluorng but when they launched this one tshirt with F1 Pit Crew design, I had to have it. Big props to the artist for designing a fantastic graphic.
This post isn't about illustration or art skill. It is about quality.
When I received the package (in almost 24-hours), the white colour was stark white, the fabric was unexpectedly thin and the print quality was terrible.
I swear I could print the same tshirt for 400 rupees on vistaprint or my local print shop.
I have always been very confident of online shopping but for the first time I felt cheated and insulted.
To make things worse, their return policy is one of the worst. Even though I filed a return request within 60-min of receiving the order, I was given a ducking store credit. Now I have to unfortunately purchase another shitty product for 4500.
The issue isn't the cost. The issue is that their founders or whoever sits behind this thinks it is okay to insult customers. This is absolutely disrespectful. I saw a meme once showing Bluorng customers as 'clowns'. I never thought I'll be one.
Beware folks. Let this be for blingy college students who think wearing this will make them cool. No self-respecting human should wear this brand.
