I received 72cm drop blinds when I ordered 78cm , they sent me 72cm drop when I complained via chat they agree that I received wrong size as they deduct 4.7cm from the size on exact order, after that another advisor declined that I received wrong size , I provide pictures than they came up with another lie story. Please avoid them. I have screenshot of chat where they accept the mistake now making rubbish claims instead of arranging return of the item. They are after money only no customer service experience but they have experience of making stories to avoid their errors and blame customers

Ordered blinds, money taken ,called for delivery date,informed by them no record of my Order 2days later they arrived,by then I had ordered from another supplier. Blinds direct informed me I would not get my money back £78 wasted

Why didn’t I read the reviews previously making the order I don’t know 😔😵💫. If you want to have a terrible experience order from blinds-direct, absolutely nightmare. I’ve place my order in January, 3 week in I had to email to ask for update, the reply was: we don’t have the material in stock we apologise. After 1 month of waiting, the blind arrive and when we install it guess what: the chain was gold (ordered silver) and the material wasn’t blackout. I’ve emailed to enquire and I was told that the factory considered that gold goes better and sorry for blackout but we don’t have that. 😵💫absolutely gobsmacked 😶. In the end they said they will send me a new chain and 15% refund if I want. We went on and on emailing as the blind is no good for me , is not matching, they said is all they can offer. They went on asking for a video as how did I order from what device and if I can send them a video, tried bullying me in accepting their offer and just keep the blind as it is. On our last email I’ve told them is a matter of principle and although I understand as is made to measure is no good for them neither, when mistakes like this are made they need to rectify it , is not about the money as wasn’t more than £100, is about respecting their customers.
So definitely 100%, do not use, don’t buy, just don’t , there are other companies out there that are professional.

following my previous reveiw i contacted them via resolver, they then wanted evidence ( video) of the fault, being in our eighties not something we could do, more emails, then they said they would get a courier to collect blind only if it was correctly packaged and to choose a weekday for collection, this we did , waited in all day , no collection by courier, we again contacted them and they said we did not receive any chosen day, just more rubbish from the worst company going. we will throw blinds in the bin and start again with a grown up company who provide good products and services, again dont touch this company with a bargepole.

Ordered on 26th October, it’s now 15th December and still no sign. They were previously reassuring me that my blinds were on my way however now all methods to contact them are down so I can’t even get a refund. Absolute nightmare and £200 that I’ve lost so can’t afford to buy from another company.

I recently ordered a roller blind from this company, and while I appreciate the product itself, my experience was frustrating due to unclear instructions and the company's business practices.
When ordering, there was a small link to a measurement guide, which I unfortunately missed as a first-time user. It turns out that I was supposed to provide the exact width of the material plus an additional 3cm, as the blinds are made slightly smaller. This led to receiving an incorrect size for my blind.
The main issue here is that the measurement guide is not easily noticeable, and I feel the website could do a much better job of highlighting this important information. A more prominent banner or reminder would help ensure that new customers don’t make the same mistake.
When I called customer service to explain the situation, they offered me a 50% discount on a replacement. While I appreciate the gesture, it felt like more of a tactic to generate additional sales rather than addressing the root cause—clearer communication about sizing requirements. Furthermore, the company doesn’t accept returns on bespoke blinds, meaning I’m left with an extra blind that can’t be used, contributing to unnecessary waste. This approach seems to prioritize sales over customer satisfaction and environmental responsibility.
Overall, while the product quality may be fine, I’m disappointed with the lack of transparency in the ordering process and the company’s lack of consideration for waste. If you're planning to order, be sure to double-check the sizing guide, but I would also recommend that the company improve how they present key information on their site and reconsider their return policies to be more customer-friendly.
Would I recommend them? Probably not, unless these issues are addressed.

This is a dodgy company. Don’t get them mixed up with Blindsdirect (no hyphen) who are much better. These are cowboys.

On an order of £1600 the mistakes were quite a few but easily solvable.
Would have thought that with such a bad reputation they would have been only too eager to solve the problems and have a happy customer to give them 5 stars and that is what it literally would have taken

Quoted some weird rule that when investigated was absolute rubbish.
Watch out for the insurance trap. They add the cost on automatically so you think why not. With this lot you will never be able to claim it. It is worded so that they can wriggle out of it in any way they choose....that is because they are untrustworthy whereas another blind supplier would not even think of it.
They need to be investigated by Trading Standards.

I ordered shutters from blinds direct , there are really nice but when i ordered the shutters i gave the right measurement but the advisors decided to take few a centimeters thinking it wouldnt fit, unfortunatly now my shutters has gap between window seal and shutters. Blinds direct did offer 15% off but considering it not my error i think its unfair have to pay again, i dont think i will recommend this company.
Don't use, they won't fix faulty products
Be warned very poor customer service and they will not fix any significant faults or issues with blinds. I will not use this company again. They blatantly try to ignore the Consumer Rights Act.
Ordered wooden blinds and they delivered blinds that have the lift and tilt cords positioned very oddly toward the centre of the blinds and not at the edges. Clealy faulty and not matching what any reasonable consumer would expect. When I have contacted their customer services expecting a simple replacement or refund they have refused. They have stated because their blinds are made to measure they will not be refunded or replaced regardless of faults. They quoted their own website as stating "Products will vary from their pictures and they are for illustrative purposes only..." They said to fix the issue I will need to buy them again and they will offer 50% off. How ridiculous this is. Trying to get repeat buying by refusing to fix an issue and trying to force a customer to pay again to get their company product quality control issues fixed.
Dreadful customer service
Dreadful customer service. We bought some perfect fit blinds and took out the surefit guarantee.
We spent £400 on our blinds and mismeasured the bead depth so the clips that came with the blind were incorrect.
No problem I thought we bought the guarantee so they can just send us the new clips.
I was wrong even though their website does not say anything about this …apparently the clips are not covered in the guarantee.
Good customer service would have just led to someone sending us out replacement clips, however we were told we had to purchase them. It’s not much it’s only £6 but there is principal at stake. The customer service advisor on the live chat was rude and had dreadful grammar. We will not be using this company again nor will we recommend them.
Don't buy from Blinds Direct
Don't buy from Blinds Direct. The blind was faulty, BD asked for a video and picture and identified a different fault, then asked me to repair it myself, then refused to accept the return and subsequently changed their mind about the faults.

Really hard to get hold of on the phone. finally gave up and tried online chat instead. fixings were missing from my order. I presumed they would send them out on next day delivery, being their error, but no, 2-3 days. really annoying as we wanted to fit on the weekend.

Would give them zero stars if i could. Blinds sent DO NOT match the listing description colour at all. Customer service is terrible. Under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 goods you supply must match their description, which they do not. Gave them many options to rectify this having spent nearly £400 with them. Ordered a blind for 236cm length, a 232cm one arrives and won't sit in the brackets - this is their response:

So in essence, it's my fault for ordering one thing and receiving another. Their solution? Give us more money and maybe we'll get it right next time.
If you don't want to be similarly ripped off and casually dismissed, don't buy from them.
Unbelievably poor customer service
Ordered an exact width roller blind. They cut 3 cms off - despite their “expert fitting guidelines” which states that they will not reduce the width on an exact measurement (as opposed to a recess one). I have ordered blinds online from many companies and have never experienced this before. They are refusing to accept that this is not my fault and clearly couldn’t care less about customer service. Well, they won’t stay in business for long when so many other companies really work hard at providing excellent service and see problems like this as opportunities to prove their worth. I am getting my bank to refund the £70 which they could have easily done without all the aggro. Just wish I’d checked them out beforehand. The reviews prove the point.
