Made our day and night blinds wrong for the second time. After yer a struggle to get this company to accept they had done them wrong. DONT be fooled by their promises!
Phone lines are not maned very well. Don’t answer emails either.
Buyers beware

I measured tge recess for my roller blind but they didnt make it wide enough. Customer service said that 3 to 4 cm is deducted for the mechanisms at the end of the blind to fit but this is way too much. I've made it fit by adding washers between the wall and brackets but even still, the mechanisms are hanging out of the blind as it stretches to fit. So its loose and flimsy. Its frayed at the edges with bits of fabric splaying off, looks like its cut by a 5 year old. Its all wrinkled at the end of the blind where it sits above the window sill. I've bought from blinds direct before but will not again. I'll be submitting this for review with photos.

Ordered blinds 16 days ago with 5-7 day delivery window. They were passed from courier to courier and they 8 days later received messenger from courier for miss delivery.

Contacted blinds direct asked for update 12 days later and they had no clue what was going on. Was I told its courier not us. Would not sent replacment or refund until they have the "damaged" blind back noting you haven't them.

Phoned again was given same story waiting for courier. Can speak to manager can't have replacment, can't have refund until damage blind it returned. Can not give a time frame noting wife is on phone to courier at same time.

Spoke to courier company they have inform me they have spoken to you. You only made contact 24 hours after i called and 100+ hours after courier Told "damaged" item (in other worlds done nothing? You state its missing/lost and i have spoken to them they confirm they have responed and state they have 72 hours to locate item and go back to yourselfs.

Noting that you have no time frames this isn't case and you are making no time to accommodate me or provide a replacement or refund speak to management I have escalated this to exertnal party.

Don't not use!

Ordered a motorised blind and the only thing good about it is the motor. The bottom of the blind has not been cut straight and is 20mm longer at one end. I was promised another but after 10 days had to chase and was told it hadn’t been ordered. Have just chased again, 11 days later, to be told that the remake was denied but no one can explain why. Apparently the remake has been reordered and I will get a call from a supervisor today!! These guys haven’t got a clue - don’t buy from them and someone needs to retrain some of their staff such as L Beaumont - appalling customer email interaction.

I got a set of blinds from Blinds Direct. I wanted the final width to be 117cm but they arrived 113cm as I ordered Recess in stead of Exact.

As I have paid the surfeit I contacted them, explained that I wanted them 117cm not 113cm, so the person on the phone re-ordered them for me.

When they arrived they were exactly the same size as before, so as you can imagine I called them back only to be informed that recess are cut 3.5cm shorter and exact are cut 3cm shorter.

I am not sure who runs this company or the marketing side of this company, but I learned during my studies at Oxford University that exact was exact, not approximated in any way, precise.

I recommend you do not buy from this people or you will end up with two sets of blinds that you may not be able to use.

I wish i had read the reviews earlier, i had no clue the reviews were really bad, First of all the customer service isnt great at all , they themselves don't know anything and would keep you on hold all the time to get information for anything you ask them, I got the surefit service but both the time the curtains and blinds were not the exact size i provided. Secondly they don't know anything about their own curtain tracks and have very few options and would not solve an issue for you.
I nearly wasted 1000 pounds, I would recommend going to a local shop and get the service done rather then wasting your money.

I ordered shutters in early July 4th told on website 15-21 days. 6 weeks later no sign of them, chased and chased and chased told they are extra busy in very brief email only communication. They arrived , great I thought. Wrong ! All split on the frames. To be fair they did straight away programme a remake but … another 3 week wait, would they take the defective ones back ? No … they told me a full remake including the frame would be done and that I should scrap the old , well the delivery rocked up , the link with DX not activated so I didn’t know when. I left a note for DX asking them to leave at back of house and left a bag of polythene to cover as it was raining heavy. Did the DX driver cover ? No he did not do I came home to soggy cardboard but luckily well wrapped so all ok. But no frame , good job I did not throw the old , luckily I’m a joiner so made them fit . The new shutters did not have magnetic catches so again luckily I kept the old and had to refit.
The fixing kit is sparse no screws to fit frame or shims to pack out hinges.
To give credit to the admin staff they replied to each and every email and they were lots ! To be fair the shutters are not that bad and I’m reasonably happy now.
Ultimately I’m ok with the blinds now but if you’re not a joiner or handy and know how to make adjustments you’d be stuffed. If you are willing to wait weeks and weeks go for it.
It’s a shame because if this company tried a bit harder they would be ok.
Because of this experience I have placed orders for the rest of the house elsewhere.

Cheap looking blinds, too long and wide despite measuring perfectly, and sticky frame has fallen down twice now, knocking over expensive vase.... Would never shop here again.

We paid for 2 blids £400 for cheap rubish and they did not fit right . Called up to see if they can help as we paid for Surefit protection from just £3.95. When making an order its right there to click on it. but when we called they told us we did not pay for that and you have to suck it up or pay £200 more to change the very very cheap pvc sides. Do not buy from them they are really rubish cheap loking blinds .
same ones on Ebay are goong for less than helf the price

Horrendous customer service. Refused a refund despite sending damaged goods that took 2 months to receive. Avoid at all costs

So disappointing with the whole company and the way they operate. They got my measurements wrong and will not offer me a refund or help fix this issue. If you want blinds or curtains go to a local shop who will not get measurements wrong and blame you for it. Wish I had found all these reviews before purchasing!

Totally misleading and frustrating website. I ordered the express service which should be delivered in 7 days. Now I’m told it’s just a guideline and I have to pay £5 per blind extra for express which was not given as an option when ordering.
I made a mistake and thought I was ordering from blindsdirect without the hyphen which has very good customer service and express means express.

If I could would be a minus, ordered blinds they came look cheap and nasty not what I wanted at all, contacted them they offered 50% off another one, stupid me ordered again, put the other one's up cheap quality, faulty yes they have issued a refund for these, however the other one's they refuse to as they are saying they have been made, what a joke they are not due dispatch till the end of June, stay away from this Micky mouse company they have no morals and response from them is shocking

What a load of cheap crap!!
I’ve ordered from this company in the past and their products were usually quite good but obviously some cost cutting has been going on. The blinds feel cheap and nasty and I purchased a curtain pole from them as well for £90, feels like £10 worth, rip off.

So rubbish I ripped off the wall and threw it in the bin!!

Terrible blinds, worse customer service! Blinds shewed daylight through all the uneven stitching, poor turnings, lots of puckers - looked like they'd been made by a rank amateur. Didn't want replacements, lost complete trust. Sent copious number of photos, then they wanted the blinds back before processing a refund. Great problem packing them up then, after 3 weeks they said they hadn't received them but said they'd process the refund anyway! On the same day they sent an email to say the order had been despatched!!! Now I have a refund and replacement blinds that I don't want! Asked them to arrange a courier for their collection, said they'd call back - over a week ago, unsurprisingly, I haven't heard from them. I've given up and will dispose of the blinds myself. They need to revise their processes to avoid this misery for future customers.

One of the worst company’s I’ve ever been involved with, unfortunately I didn’t come here to read all the reviews as it seems a common occurrence.

Firstly they were over a month late on delivering my order once received they were missing multiple items and the items received were all damaged. Once I received the whole order I realise all but one blind wasn’t damaged and half of them were faulty items. To make things worse it’s taken nearly 3 months and hours of work from myself sending them pictures, writing reports to get the issue rectified and yet I’m still waiting.

WHATEVER YOU DO DONT YSE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE TERRIBLE

Avoid please! Apart from the fact that I got the order with some missing items and I said that’s fine no problem. I had two wait almost two months for the missing item to be delivered. They had 10, not 1 or two or 3, 10 unsuccessful deliveries. Unbelievable! There is no customer service at all of course. Lack of everything in this business! I would not recommend it to Anyone

I was sent 4 blinds all of which were 700mm to short they were ordered at 2.4mm long and arrived 1.7mm long with control pulleys only .275mm long so could never work. Absolutely disgusting service from everyone that i spoke to they sent me longer chains but have not offered to exchange the blinds for the correct sizes as ordered.... will never use this dishonest company again.

AVOID AVOID AVOID. Sent damaged shutter with wonky slat and no instructions. Sent a part for the slat which didn’t address my specific issue and no instructions. Sent 8 new slats all different ends but still no instructions. Sent whole new panel but no hinges and expected me to swop hinges from old to new panel. Shocking customer service. Generally not interested and couldn’t be bothered. (Except Bianca). Gave 10% discount which is insulting given how much time and energy I’ve wasted waiting for deliveries not to mention having to pay to dispose of a 2 metre shutter panel and now a tradesman to come over to make sure the new panel goes on properly. Never again.

Surprised and pleased by the prompt service. Would highly recommend.
