Bilstein-Shocks Arvostelua 

Am Bilstein B14 für einen VW T5 nach 26 Monaten Feder gebrochen. Nach einer Woche Rückmeldung von Bilstein Feder nicht mehr Lieferbar. Über Händler Bilstein Feder mit anderer Kennung besorgt.
Kosten für Federn mit Einbau und erneuter Einzelabnahme 750Euro.
Niiiiieee mehr Bilstein.

In 2020 two new Bilstein rear shocks were fitted to my Capri 2.8i show car. After less than 2000 miles of use one shock failed this year. The original retailer stated that the shocks were out of warranty and therefore I should contact Bilstein to resolve the problem. I contacted Bilstein by email laying out the bones of the problem. I should point out that I had attempted to purchase a single replacement shock but most retailers would only sell pairs. I received a reply by email stating that if I could send the defective unit Bilstein would examine it free of charge and either replace or repair the unit. I telephoned customer services to discuss this offer. However the individual I spoke to denied that any work or indeed any part of the problem resolution would be free, claiming a mistake had been made. This person was aggressive in attitude informing that reapers would cost £85 and without my suggestion, Bilstein would not reimburse any cost incurred in removing and replacing. I was then given a telephone umber of a company that would sell a single unit and the part number. The phone number turned out not to be for the company mentioned and the part number incorrect for my model Capri. Given the price of their products and it would seem unearned reputation for quality for their products Bilstein’s staff attitude to customers was far from modern expectations. To conclude Imhave found a retailer prepared to sell a single shock and ironically, it is a German company.

Total rubbish b14s for t5 snapped and leaking and bushes gone in 3/4 yrs total crap I’ll never buy again

Im November 2022 B6 Stossdämpfer für einen BMW F11 bestellt, bis heute 14.07.2023 nicht geliefert. Von Monat zu Monat wird vertröstet. Völlig unfähiges Unternehmem.

Disappointingly, the shocks i ordered have started leaking after 2 years and about 10k miles. The oem shocks did 50k and lasted much longer. No harsh treatment from me, just sedate driving on normal roads. It appears like everything else in this world, built in obsolescence and cost savings have diminished what was once a good brand.

I received the package within a week as soon as I got the dispatch email, FedEx handle the delivery here in UAE.

Bought 4 shocks model 4600 from shockwarehouse 1 failed with a leak. Went to original reseller no response. Took the no response documentation and set to Bilstein, they said go back to shockwarehouse so this tells me BILSTEIN WARRANTY is worthless and they don't stand behind product they delegate.

where is the 00000 for reviews called the CEO Drew in Ohio what a joke . Would be better going to k mart .For the shocks I WAS going to buy !!!!!!! key hear is going to buy he's know help at all .I thought Bilstein was a good company.Glad they they showed there true colors .Will never buy anything from these people and will be sure to pass on there poor customer from the CEO. Put new Bilstein shocks on my 06 Silverado in September 2020, the truck had 125000 miles at the time. A few weeks ago while on vacation I noticed that one front tire had an unusual wear pattern and thought it must be a bad ball joint because the truck had just been through an alignment and the shocks were only two years old. and the truck only has 150000 miles on it. No heavy towing or off road use, just highway driving. When I got home I took it to a repair shop and was horrified to learn that all four shocks had failed and to make matters worse, all four tires were ruined. It ended up costing me $1000.00 for new shocks and another $1000.00 to replace the tires! Obviously, I am very unhappy with my decision to buy Bilstein.

Ordered struts for my car back on June 11/2022 and STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANYTHING!!
After 12+ emails they finally replied to me and I still have no more information than before!!
I DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!!

Absolutely awful been waiting for my order for a year, just been told it's been put back again. Huge waste of my time I'd advise anyone to stay away from Bilstein as you'll get constant push backs for delivery dates.

Needed some parts for my Ford Ranger 2.2 TDCi XLT Super Cab Pickup 4dr Diesel Manual 4WD Euro 5 (150 ps) back in March. I called them up to find correct part for vehicle Gave them full details and reg/vin number was told what to order. Had shocks fitted and have been suffering bouncing ever since. Called them up they now say incorrect parts ordered these are not for the 4 x 4 version. They tell me unless I can send them a screen shot of a phone call ( what planet are they on). Asked for a copy invoice funny how the invoice from back in March has todays date on it 09/08/2022.
I would suggest you don't waste your money with these robbers

Initially finding the part and ordering was straight forward and easy, the unfortunate part was getting quick responses to questions about the order (this maybe due to lack of staff) and not getting an email with tracking number once the parts were dispatched which I contacted customer services about but didn’t get a reply until a day after the parts had arrived.

Like many others reviewing this company, I initially thought that I was dealing with Febi Bilstein.
This is incorrect. This company is a Febi Bilstein Dealer and has no other affiliation with the Febi Bilstein company.
They are two separate entities and should not be confused as the same company.

Bilstein is very disappointing, i called for a shock recommendation and after installation, the shock is worst then stock shocks. I have complained several times to get better shocks and got to a point of no response! INCREDIBLE BAD COMPANY!!!!
