Why not just send me a carton of 20 lamps?
Ordering simple, delivery super efficient and communication very good and kept me informed at all points. However, having specifically bought DGU005/30 lamps specifically in multiples of 20 as that is how they have always come for 5+ years I was disappointed to received 40 separate boxes of lamps. Why? And worse than that these were then mixed in with the identical boxes of the MR16 lamps I'd also bought. Bit of a pain and can't understand why you've done it having always delivered full boxes before

We're sorry to hear you were disappointed with the way your lamps were packaged. Unfortunately, we're not certain why they were supplied as individual boxes on this occasion. It may be that the manufacturer has changed the way they package these lamps, or it could be that the stock supplied to us was from individually boxed units, as we do also sell them separately.

Check the small print!

It might be a good idea to read things through properly before replying to reviews!
I never mentioned guarantee or warranty whatsoever. What I was talking about was "a cover". You know, "a cover" that you put over something to protect it! On the Meaco website site they call it a "storage bag".
So my point was, if I had purchased direct from Meaco I would have had something (call it whatever you like) to protect the fan when not in use, which I did not receive from bigonelectricals.
Hope this clears things up now I have made it less difficult for you to grasp.
Charged the same on line as the manufacturer's web site but did not include the cover that the manufacturer did if buying direct from them.
Should have spent my money with the manufacturer direct and got a cover.
Challenged this and was told sorry we don't provide a cover. (Happy to charge the same amount though)
Could have at least offered the cover at a reduced price as compensation.
Now have to buy the cover separately at over £20 and pay postage.
Delivery from DPD (for a change) was spot on.

Just to clarify, your unit does include the standard 3-year manufacturer's warranty, so it is covered. The additional cover you're referring to is an optional extended warranty offered directly by Meaco. As an authorised retailer, we aren't able to sell or include this extended warranty, as any warranty support after the initial 30 days is handled directly by Meaco under their own policy.
We appreciate that purchasing directly from the manufacturer may include different offers or promotions, but these are set by Meaco and unfortunately aren't something we're able to replicate.

The bulbs produce a noticeable…
I would not recommend buying from this company.
The customer service is extremely poor. It is very difficult to contact support, and the return process is unnecessarily complicated.
The light bulbs I received produced a constant electrical humming noise during normal use. Instead of allowing me to return the faulty items, I was asked to record a video of the issue. Anyone familiar with this type of electrical humming will know that it is often not captured properly by a phone microphone.
To make matters worse, I was expected to pay for the return myself. For two light bulbs worth £11, I had already paid £5 for delivery and would have had to pay £25 return postage as well, making the return pointless.
What was advertised as “14 days Easy Returns” turned into a frustrating and time-consuming experience. I will not be purchasing from this company again.

I ordered a fan to help combat the recent heat wave. Although the ref original delivery date was a few days away, it actually arrived the very next day, amazing.
There was a minor fault which I reported to BOE. I received a prompt reply from Monica who guided me through the small problem. I cannot speak too highly of BOE customer service, especially Monica who was particularly helpful. To top it off I was granted a 10% refund on my purchase, how good is that during these hard times?
The fan is great and cannot recommend BOE highly enough, well done.
