Really happy with this unit!
Really happy with this AC unit! It cools the room down really quickly. Window kit was very easy to install on my sash window(also comes with the other type of window kit) and remote control is very useful. Like all portable AC units, it is a bit noisy, but I can actually sleep through it now that I'm used to it. Only downside is that it is really heavy and the wheels are not much use on carpet. The unit got full of water after first few days of use, but the drain is at ground level which made it really tricky to empty, given how heavy it is to lift. Small complaints given how happy I am to have AC in this heat!
Big On Electrical were excellent, product was delivered within 2 days of ordering.

Great selection of items at amazing prices. Bought two extractor fans, was extremely impressed with the speed of delivery next day.
Definitely an excellent experience when buying from a company I’ve never used previously, but will definitely recommend to others as well as returning again myself for any future purchases.
Fans were definitely an upgrade over what was existing; near silent whilst standing immediately beside fans in loft; all whilst delivering three times greater air extraction.

In my experience I highly recommend you avoid buying from this company. My order was damaged as such I was simply directed to the manufacture to resolve rather than them as the seller (in clear breach of the UK Consumer Rights Act) I am now having to spend my time either making a claim via my CC company or trying to resolve with the manufacture. I also recommend you read all the 1 star google reviews with similar experiences to my own, as I appear to not be alone!

False promises!
Good prices but don’t count on them sending the order for next day delivery if you place the order before 6pm. My items were in stock, they just “forgot” to send mine and nearly cost me a job. Please don’t advertise a service if you can’t provide it.

Abysmal service
Abysmal service, a £20 light fitting arrived at my house smashed. After 4-5 emails back and forth the company said they couldn’t replace or refund me due to them not knowing whether myself or the courier had done it. Do not buy from this company.

We're sorry to hear your light fitting arrived damaged. Having reviewed your order, we can see it was delivered on 10th June and the damage wasn't reported until 22nd June. As outlined in our delivery terms, we ask that any damage is reported within 24 hours so the courier can investigate while the relevant delivery information is still available.
Unfortunately, as the damage was reported outside of this timeframe, the courier was unable to accept the claim, which meant we were unable to offer a replacement or refund. We appreciate you taking the time to leave your feedback.

Good interaction and parts delivered, however meant to be next day and they took 2 days. This may have been Royal Mails problem. I don't use suppliers that use Royal Mail as in my experience they are the worst of all carriers

The Company Went The Extra Mile..
The fan I bought was a really good price. It was delivered free Next working day. When I was completing the purchase I allowed my iPad to auto fill as I started to type my email address and i didn’t notice that it hadn’t overwritten what I had typed. I only realised when i didn’t receive a confirmation email. I emailed the company and they not only amended my email for me straight away but also emailed me to let me know they had sorted it for me and that I wasn’t to worry and my order had gone through.I think they went the extra mile. The jtem arrived as expected, I was kept informed along the way and the fan was lovely quality. I like the good customer relationship in a company and I will certainly return if and when I need anything electrical.
