Big Bus Tours Philadelphia Arvostelua 

I had so much fun on my Bug Bus Tour! Every tour guide and employee I interacted with was very nice and helpful. I learned a lot about Philadelphia all while having fun. The tour route allowed me to see just about everything I wanted. Great for anyone who wants to explore Philly.

Good tour. Had 3 different guides, some better (more knowledgeable and fun) than others.

Bigger or more colourful boards to indicate bus stops. The bus stops are not prominent and are difficult to find. The apps on the phone are not at all convenient to use.... there is no way to figure out when the next bus is coming. Also, not many people are aware of BigBusTours when we wanted to know abt the bus stop directions. Had a terrible experience in New York and Philadelphia. We could hav just taken taxi n gone around instead of paying this amount.

They were very accommodating and even came and picked us up at CHOP so we wouldn’t have to pay for parking twice. It was a fun and informative tour. At a couple spots, they waited long enough for us to jump off and take a couple pics before getting back on the bus and continuing the tour. This saved us from having to wait for another bus. And then, at the end, they took us back to CHOP so we could pick up our car and head back to Virginia.

We had 10 of us dancing in age from 5 to 73. Some of us were locals and others out of towners. We all learned new things about Philly and had a wonderful time. It was the right amount of detail to keep the group engaged. We spent time at the Art Museum and Reading Terminal and easily rejoined another bus at the designated stops.

From start to finish, very informative and entertaining. My son goes to West Chester University, so one of his classes had a project, that you take an historic tour and review the tour guide. We both thought she was excellent. And the number of historical sites is impressive.

Such a great way to get around and see Philadelphia !
I loved the freedom it gives you to see what you want to and take your time about it. The guides were very knowledgeable and friendly. Can’t wait to go back and see more!

They were Great! Even provided van transport to and from our hotel.

Easy to find out. Nice trip to see several interesting areas of Philadelphia.
I only founded inappropriate the scratches on the glass cover of the top level of the bus.

The Big Bus Tour offers an extensive tour of Philadelphia with multiple stops. Tour guides offer an informative and entertaining narration of the sights and history as you progress. I used it over several days, and did the entire lap on the first day to get an oversight of Philly, then did several trips between stops to get from one highlight to another over the subsequent days. Highly recommended.

Convenient, good value, informative.
Great if you want to experience a new city. We go round once, and then decide where to stop of the second time around. A two day pass is ideal for this.

Terrible experience - mishap over mishap - over 2 days - wish I had saved my money :(
The first mishap was that we looked at the map and location name and went to where the stop was said to be. There was no signage at the location, but nowhere on the website or tickets did it say there would a sign. The bus drove right past us and 2 blocks away, to the sign/stop - we ran to catch the bus and stated that the stop was not at the intersections we were shown on the map. They didn't take our tickets. Onward we go. Later, we waited 40 minutes for a return bus - driver was pretty surprised that the previous driver didn't take our tickets and give us a proper printed ticket for the 2 days. We arrived at the final stop at 4:40. We asked where to catch the beginning of the next (final) tour, since it says the final bus schedule is 5:00pm. We were notified that there were no more buses for the day. I had to walk 2 miles back to my hotel in the pouring rain after we specifically planned to end our day with enough time to catch the final bus of the day. The next day we waited 35 minutes for a bus, and ended up calling to see what the status was, we were told they were using trolleys that day, not the bus. Turns out one had gone by already, but there was no indication that was the one we were supposed to get on, so totally time waiting for a bus was 50 minutes. In the short 2 days I had in Philadelphia, I spent over 2 hours just waiting for these buses. Wasted a hell of a lot of money too. Never again!

The drivers were just amazing in the traffic; they should all get raises! Each tour guide gave the basic information augmented by details that seemed to reflect personal interest and research. The drivers and guides were all pleasant and accommodating.

Had a great experience. Guides were friendly and informative.
The only thing was Philadelphia does not appear to be on the Big Bus Tours App??? Not a big deal for us, but would have been handy.
Other than that would totally suggest to take the tour.

Ian(?) the tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly; as well as accommodating to everyone on the tour given traffic snafus and their own tour stop changes that weren't well communicated in literature or on signage. Lots of fun and picked up on history and trivia which was exactly what we wanted.
