This website is clearly a scam, and PayPal are simply not acknowledging it. I was lucky to have my payment stopped by my bank. others may not be so lucky.

Scamming website. I thought I was going to share an important review as I paid for a 2£ service that then turned into an extortionate 40£ hidden subscription without a no refund policy. They clearly pry on people who don’t check reviews. Expensive mistake. Lesson learned.

Ho usufruito di un servizio una tantum con un costo di 0,95 e mi sono ritrovato con un addebito di 39,95. La loro difesa é consistita nel dire che bisognava leggere i termini di abbonamento, termini di abbonamento non visibili.
Pessimi e ingannevoli.

If I could give zero stars I would. I needed to use this one time and paid for the one time. I was signed up for a $40 subscription without knowing. Explained the situation and was refused a refund! Do not use this site!!

Automatically goes to a subscription of 40 EUROS PER MONTH!! DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICE FOR 1 EUROS!!! After requresting a refund, Do NOT accept their 'generous' offer to only accept 50% refund!!! this is not in compliance with their refund policy, although they try to convince you it is with their automatic email response. Simply request a 100% refund and they will have to return the full amount to you. This feels like a very sketchy website!!!

I paid money for the subscription and it did not give me the transcript that I need from an audio.After I emailed the person the said give me a 2 year free subscription when I asked for a refund
And for some reason it changed me even more .After I emailed the person again demanding a refund and the removal of my card .They did not give a reply ..This is a bad website and very bad customer service do not recommend it at all

Didnt translate to Chinese as promised. Actually just gave me back original document then charge me $39.
Will not refund after multiple requests.

A mí, además, para identificar la transacción me ha pedido los 4 últimos dígitos de la tarjeta y los 6 primeros + mi nombre completo. Evidentemente no se lo he dado.
No puedes pedir toda la numeración de una tarjeta. Lo tengo en un mail.
Las 28.000 reseñas positivas que tienen son totalmente falsas, no tengo ninguna duda.
Aquí son 595 reseñas negativas en Febrero de 2026.

es liegt ein Verstoß mit vermutlich betrügerischer Absicht Nach 312d BGB, sowie § 138 BGB, §305c - Verletzung der Informationspflicht sowie sittenwidrige Täuschung nach § 312 f BGB vor ,sofern nie eine Zustimmung ,weder per Email noch ersichtlich über die Seite abgeschlossen worden ist . Zudem handelt es sich gemäß § 305 c BGB um eine überraschende Klausel, da ein Abo weder erkennbar noch ausdrücklich bestätigt wurde. Von daher kann die vollständige Rückerstattung der abgebuchte Beträge und Ausgleich des Kontos durchgesetzt werden!

Do not use this company. I cancelled my subscription 3 times after being charged 3 times for services I did not want. Their customer service is slow and shows no empathy. Another way to elicit hard earned cash from people after they unwittingly use a reasonable priced service then they continue to charge each month regardless of your cancellation.

Come altri utilizzatori del Web buono ho visitato, usato e pagato per un servizio ricevuto (sul Web truffaldino); automaticamente e a mia insaputa è scattato un abbonamento mensile che ho disdetto quando ne sono venuto a conoscenza attraverso la comunicazione di PayPal di un addebito di 39,50 a favore di tale thebestpdf. Però, le canaglie, avevano già incassato a mezzo PayPal un mese di abbonamento. Ora ho chiesto a PayPal di stornare e riaccreditarmi quell'importo per un servizio mai richiesto e mai utilizzato. La legge italiana (artt. 52-59 del Codice del Consumo – D.lgs. 206/2005) riconosce a chi Compra a distanza online il diritto di recedere dal contratto entro 14 giorni, Il venditore deve rimborsare tutti i pagamenti effettuati (inclusi eventuali costi pagati in anticipo) entro 14 giorni dal momento in cui hai comunicato il recesso, (se è stato fatto un abbonamento e non è stato usufruito il servizio, e non è stato espresso consenso a perdere il diritto di recesso)

Op 5 februari heb ik tweemaal gebruik gemaakt van de diensten van THEBESTPDF en daarvoor tweemaal circa 1 euro betaald via PayPal. Dat is okay.

Op 12 februari claimed TheBestPdf via PayPal €39.95 voor een abonnement. Elke maand zou dat €39.95 kosten.

Deze overmaking heb ik geblokkeerd.
Ik heb van THEBESTPDF geen aankondiging of aanbod voor een abonnement ontvangen, ook heb ik geen abonnement aangevraagd of geaccordeerd.
Ik heb ook geen enkel belang bij een abonnement.

Ik heb THEBESTPDF verzocht een eventueel abonnement en eventuele factuur te cancelen.

Reacties van THEBESTPDF zijn altijd super vriendelijk en binnen een minuut dus automatisch.

Op 12 februari schrijft THEBESTPDF dat zij mijn abonnement hebben opgeheven met ingang van 14 maart 2026. Zij bedanken mij, onder anderen voor het creëren van een account. Ik heb geen account gecreëerd!

Ik heb geprotesteerd en op 16 februari 2026 schrijft THEBESTPDF weer een zeer vriendelijke mededeling. Hier zeggen zij ook dat zij mij een "renewal reminder" hebben gestuurd maar dat die soms in een junk box terecht komen. Dit is gelogen, er is geen herinnerings mail aangekomen, want bij mijn mail server kan ik alle mails zien die binnen zijn gekomen voordat zij naar inboxen en junk boxen gaan.

Ik heb weer geprotesteerd op 17 februari om 20:21 en binnen enkele seconden krijg ik als antwoord dat ze mij een gratis abonnement aanbieden voor 2 jaar, dus ter waarde van €959 !!

Dit aanbod heb ik afgewezen. THEBESTPDF zegt hierop dat ze €39.95 abonnements geld van 12 feb tot 13 maart wel willen ontvangen. Nu wordt deze zaak principieel voor mij.

De vele klachten en reviews op internet maken duidelijk wat het verdienmodel van THEBESTPDF is. In feite zijn het oplichters en het verbaasd mij dat PayPal met een dergelijk bedrijf wil samenwerken.

Mijn vraag aan u, : hoe kunnen we dit oplossen?
Het lijkt mij verstandig als Kassa, Radar en Consumentenbond dit oppakken

Scam website with hidden subscription service. I needed to quickly make a psf smaller and Google led me to Thebestpdf.com. what an expensive mistake. I thought paying the $1 was ok and did so. The website DID NOT make my pdf file smaller but I didn't worry about the $1. I never saw where this was a 7 day trial! One week later they "steal" $34.99 from my bank. There isn't anything I can do because I DID NOT read their hidden disclosures. This website has HORRIBLE reviews everywhere and I've learned my senior citizen lesson. BEWARE!
