A brilliant local car rental company…
A brilliant local car rental company who believe in efficient and quick service. I don’t think I have ever picked up or dropped back a car with so much speed and ease, as well as no hassle, which is just what you want before and after a flight. Very helpful, friendly and excellent English throughout. I will be definitely be using these guys again and I can see why I was recommended them! Car was lovely, in great condition and pretty new, and size wise was exactly as described on booking. Fully recommend this company.

Very happy to recommend this company…
Very happy to recommend this company that we used for the first time in July. The office is less than 5 minutes from the airport and everything was very smoothly handled by Marcelo. The process left me feeling that the company cared about the customer and providing a good service, which is not always the case with my car hire experiences.

3/10
Peugeot 208 (or equivalent) reserved, we get a flushed Corsa, clearly nothing to do in terms of performance, non-existent soundproofing, distressing handling, etc. At the reception, "Amy Winehouse" is graceful as a prison door while we are all smiles despite the Bad surprise.
Cold, unclear, not recommended.
I don't know what the competitors in the sector are worth, but clearly in Portugal, I found much better providers.

Dear FLadevie,
Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear about your dissatisfaction with the vehicle you received. The reserved group of the car was provided, but we understand it did not meet your expectations. Please note that if a customer is unhappy with the car, there is always the possibility to change it, subject to availability within our fleet.
We appreciate your input and hope to have the opportunity to serve you better in the future.
Sincerely,

Best Service from Best Deal
First time user of Bestdeal and was very impressed. Contacted the Acoteias branch in advance to enquire about the booking and had a very prompt and detailed email response. On arrival, office staff dealt with me efficiently, politely and fully explained everything - probably the most comprehensive hire-car handover I've ever had. The car was spotless and in great condition. The female member of staff was happy to collect me from the hotel and take me to the office to do the collection paperwork and returned me to the hotel at the end of the hire period. Overall, very satisfied and will use again.
