4 jaar geleden kocht ik hier mijn eerste handschoenen op accu. Tussen toen en nu heeft het product mijn verwachtingen ver overtroffen. Niet alleen het artikel maar ook comfort-producten straalt service uit. Uitstekend advies. Vraag naar Michiel; die weet alles :D. Keurig geholpen. Tussen advies inwinnen en daadwerkelijk trotse eigenaar van nieuwe handschoenen zat maar liefst een kwartier. Mijn dag kan niet meer stuk.

Voldoet niet bij vriestemperatuur, voor temperaturen boven 5 kan het wel.

Remarkable customer service, they politely answered all my questions, and helped me with my issues. The product was shipped fast, and I could enjoy them within a couple of days.

Kwalitatief goed product, duidelijke omschrijving die overeenkomt met de levering. Snelle bezorging en het contact is prettig contact verlopen.

Heb de bestelling geplaatst en de gekoelde pet en het gekoelde kussenhoeslaken waren snel via de post bezorgd.
In het algemeen een prettige koopervaring.

In maart 2023 warmte zooltjes gekocht van Bertschat.
Ik was een beetje sceptisch maar het is echt het geld dubbel waard.
Na 9 maanden een probleem aan 1 van de zooltjes. Het werd meteen super vriendelijk opgelost. En had ik na 2 werkdagen al een nieuw zooltje toegestuurd gekregen. Dus ook nog eens hele goede service. Ik raad dit bedrijf zeker aan.

Diese Jacke heizt gut und an den angegebenen Stellen. Als sehr gut empfinde ich das Heizelement zwischen den Schulterblättern. Der Stoff ist atmungsaktiv und damit auch recht Winddurchlässig. Es braucht also ab einer bestimmten Temperatur eine weitere Jacke zum drüber ziehen. Dafür einen Stern weniger.

Insgesamt kann ich diese Jacke empfehlen.

After posting my review, I was contacted by the customer service of Bertschat. It took a few weeks of exchanging emails, but as a result I have received not just a new pair, but the top range model of the insoles – Limited Edition. In order to calibrate the batteries, I have to discharge them completely and recharge three times, but so far I simply failed to discharge them. (This is, obviously, a very good thing!)

I wish this has taken less time (my first message was sent on October 24, I received the new insoles on January 8) but after the initial disappointment the experience ended being much, much better than I expected. I don't think I'd get that sort of treatment elsewhere. Special thanks to Michiel.

AVOID.

Product: Heated Insoles Elite

One of the batteries in my insoles began to fail. I sent the insoles for repair/replacement. After weeks of correspondence, here are the details:
1. The batteries are calibrated to last between 2:30h-3:30h on hottest setting. (My home test: 3.00h vs 4.38h.) That's some extra lousy quality control in the first place – the difference between 2:30-3:30h is 1.4x (40%). Also, according to the website, "You can heat up to 14 hours on a single charge. This is in ideal conditions.” I asked what the ideal conditions were, so that I could test this claim for myself. I received no response.
2. It's normal that one of the soles heats up a few degrees more than the other. (Quote from the website: "Built-in temperature sensor" – I wonder what the sensor does exactly, since it's not ensuring equal temperature?)
3. The battery failure – sorry, normal state – being 1.5x lower in one of them – was explained as "The batteries in the insole endure pressure, shocks and can get wet." I wear them strictly indoors, since I am disabled and very rarely leave the house.
4. After literal weeks of exchanges with the "excellent customer service" I asked for them to be sent back. I now wear them on the L setting for the left sole and M for the right ("a few degrees difference is normal"). This makes the right sole deplete faster, of course. I put it away for the night after using them for a few hours, the next evening tried to use them again. The left one worked, the right discharged overnight (it was switched off).
5. The battery capacity, given explicitly on the website, is "2,200 mAh at 3.7 V" yet one takes longer to charge than the other. I have no way to measure the claim, but if one takes longer to charge, it's simply not possible for them to have the same capacity.

When it's the company selling a product who determines whether the product is working well enough, you don't get to appeal. (This is why I tend to buy on Amazon, but I wanted to support a Dutch business.) So, with all that I listed above, I only have one conclusion: the quality of Bertschat insoles is appallingly bad. Do yourself a favour and buy something from China.

Ik wilde verwarmde sokken kopen en was graag naar de showroom gegaan, maar wegens drukte in de showroom was dat niet binnen een kort termijn mogelijk. Tijdens het telefoongesprek met Rutger, kreeg ik informatie over de sokken en hierna heb ik ze besteld.
Woensdag 29 november een paar Extra Set Heated Socks - Long Edition [Elite] besteld en donderdag had in ze in huis. Vrijdag was het behoorlijk koud dus kon ik gelijk de nieuwe sokken uitproberen.
De drie warmtestanden uitgeprobeerd en het werkt allemaal goed. Ik was blij verrast dat na een paar uur lopen in het bos, mijn voeten aangenaam warm aanvoelden.

Jammer vind ik, dat de sokken bij de voorvoet niet goed voorgevormd zijn, ze vallen voor mij vrij ruim. Hierdoor gaat de stof in de schoen proppen. In mijn dagelijkse schoenen kan ik de sokken niet dragen en in mijn geval, is dat wenselijk.
Daarnaast vind ik de accu’s vrij fors. Je hebt twee flinke bulten aan de zijkant van je benen, wat geen fraai gezicht is. Qua gewicht voelen ze ook als “een blok aan je been.”
Deels ben ik tevreden met de aankoop. Maar deels ook niet.

I won't purchase anything from Bertschat ever again.

Very expensive products with low quality, which stop functioning after a few weeks. Zero costumer service or support.

Zowel Rutger als Robin hebben me geweldig geholpen ivm mijn defecte wanten. In eerste instantie kon ik ze via instructie van Rutger insturen voor een check. Na insturen bleken ze niet meer te repareren. Daarna kreeg ik op initiatief van Robin (met korting) een nieuw paar aangeboden die snel werden opgestuurd. Dank voor jullie pro-actieve klantenservice!

I phoned a week ago to get some advice and the sales representative on the phone was very helpful. The products were delivered on time and so far I'm very pleased with the fit and finish.
Almost looking forward to the winter now that I have adequate ways to protect my hands and feet.

Handschoenen gekocht voor mijn vrouw omdat ze altijd vreselijk last van koude handen heeft tijdens het fietsen. Helaas waren de handschoenen net iets te groot maar binnen 5 dagen had ik een kleiner paar in huis. Top service en de handschoenen bevallen enorm goed!

I bought quite expensive heated socks, that would have been worth their money if it was not for the fact that they are very fragile. They broke twice. First time I got a new sock. Second time the other sock failed just outside the one year guarantee period. I think I cycled 5 times with these socks. I do not care to pay a bit more but I do expect quality and service. Bertschat has failed to deliver both.

Maandag de klacht gemeld via bol.com. Mijn vest met verwarmingselementen was defect. Binnen uur mail ontvangen, ik kon het vest terug sturen. Woensdag al een nieuw vest ontvangen. Echt goede service!

Oplaadkabeltje van verwarmde zooltjes begeeft binnen een jaar het na normaal gebruik. Via de mail een snelle reactie en de volgende dag een nieuw kabeltje in de brievenbus. Top!
