Berges Institute Spanish Classes Arvostelua 

I am so happy to have discovered Berges! Our teacher, Silas, has been patient and clear. Additionally, he has gotten to know all of our members, challenging us to take chances based on our knowledge base. It has been many decades since I have studied Spanish, and our teacher was able to prompt me to remember much more knowledge than I thought I still possessed. I am only disappointed that I cannot continue with this same teacher and group into the next level -- as he does not offer level 5. I have enjoyed this experience so much that I have gotten others to sign up for Berges classes, including my son. Thank you so much!

You don't actually learn in these classes and after you have paid they send an email that you need to keep your camera on so the teacher and classmates can see you just as you see them. Why is that not mentioned on the web page before you pay. They treat you like kids amd each teacher teaches different things. Not to mention they also ask you such personal stuff in the classes like who you live with whats in your house, is it a house or apartment etc....pretty sus to me amd no I'm not turning on my camers.

Gloria Alveal is an incredible instructor. I just completed Level 1 and Level 2 with her, and I'm starting Level 3 soon. Her classes are low-pressure, and she makes learning so much fun that it really keeps you motivated!

It was an interactive, fast-paced class. Gloria was a wonderful teacher! She was encouraging, patient and enjoyable. We learned much more conversational Spanish than I would've expected in an introductory class.

Marco and Gaston are exceptional Spanish teachers. I had the opportunity to switch to both sessions and they both made sure we understood thoroughly before moving to the new lessons. Also they were trying to get every student to stay engaged to get the most out of it. I enrolled in Spanish level 2 to continue learning & practicing. I can’t wait to meet with familiar teachers either Marco or Gaston in level 2.

I just completed Level 1 and loved it. The structure and pacing were perfect for my learning style and the instructor, Yuli, was wonderful — very supportive, engaging, and personable. Truly great value!

I'm amazed by the progress I've seen at Berges Institute. Some of my classmates now speak Spanish very fluently and can discuss a wide range of topics with confidence.

As a complete beginner and a Chinese speaker from Hong Kong, learning Spanish has required extra time and effort. While some instructors teach at a fast pace, their classes are always engaging and remind me to catch up.... Monica stands out as an excellent teacher for beginners. She is patient, clear, and supportive, and I truly enjoyed learning with her.

A special shoutout to Gloria Alvealz, who is an absolutely fantastic instructor! Gloria is knowledgeable, patient, encouraging, and has a wonderful way of explaining concepts so they are easy to understand and remember. She creates a comfortable and supportive learning environment where you feel confident participating, asking questions, and practicing your Spanish without feeling intimidated.

I truly enjoyed the course and feel much more confident in what I’ve learned. If you’re considering taking a course through Berges, I highly recommend it, and if you have the opportunity to take a class with Gloria Alveal, even better. She made the experience exceptional! Five stars!

The Berges methodology has been perfect for
how I learn. My teacher, Nelson, has been encouraging, very helpful and overall a great teacher. I have already signed up for the next level with him.

I took the basic class because I am planning to move to Panama by 2028. The basic language skills I learned I hope will enable me to communicate some with the local community. I am going to Panama next month so that will be a test of what I've learned and how much more I'll need. Nelson Navarette was my instructor. He was patient, gave great feedback and was easy to understand. I would take another class with him.

Berges Language School has been an outstanding place to learn Spanish. The classes are well organized, engaging, and tailored to help students build real confidence in speaking and understanding the language. My Spanish teacher, Maria, has been absolutely exceptional. She is patient, encouraging, knowledgeable, and has a wonderful ability to explain even difficult grammar in a way that is easy to understand. Her enthusiasm for teaching makes every class enjoyable, and she genuinely cares about her students' success. Thanks to Maria and the excellent instruction at Berges Language School, I have made far more progress in Spanish than I ever expected. I highly recommend Berges to anyone looking for a high-quality language learning experience.

Just finished level 1, and have found it really useful in learning some basic rules, grammar and vocabulary. Lessons were challenging, with lots of content and encouragement to speak in Spanish and to practise what we were learning, and the homework ensured that we did some practise between lessons. Lessons were fun and we were lucky to have patient co-learners! Email communication each week (reminders, links to homework etc)was excellent.

Silas was an excellent teacher! I progressed so much in one course and he made some very helpful cheat sheets beyond the Berges material to help with key rules.

I just finished my beginner’s class with maestro Rolando yesterday and I cannot believe how much I have learned just over the course of 10 weeks. It was a truly a novel immersive language learning experience, filled with humor, building blocks, and associations that I’ll remember as I continue on my Spanish learning journey. The classes are scaffolded well, building on what you learn in the previous class. And if you are a beginner like me, looking to really learn Spanish, this is the place you’ve been looking for!

Excellent materials and teacher (Rolando Gonzalez). Class size is conducive to learning, with plenty of opportunities to practice speaking Spanish. Looking forward to moving on to Level 2.

I’ve enjoyed classes very much. The instructors are knowledgeable and engaging. Berges staff are very responsive to queries and requests.

I recently completed Level 4 with Gloria Alveal. She is the absolute best instructor. She brings an infectious passion and enthusiasm to the classroom. She is extremely patient and knowledgeable. I will be taking future classes with her.

I just completed level one with Ed Salgado. He was phenomenal, very patient and always in a great mood. I looked forward to class each week. I will be entering into level two in the near future.

I've tried various apps to learn Spanish and that wasn't really working. There's something about having to show up for a class that makes me much more motivated. Also, Silas is an awesome teacher and it's fun to learn from him.

I've completed several classes with Berges and have loved them all. The teachers are excellent—patient, knowledgable, and clear in their explanations. Through a combination of homework exercises, conversation, and writing, I'm finally learning aspects of grammar that I've had trouble with in the past. Very affordable too! Five stars is not enough
