BeMove Removals have been fantastic in carrying out my move, and I would highly recommend them.
They were incredibly competitive - I sought eleven comparative quotes, and they were the cheapest - this is for a fixed price quote; including VAT with no hidden extras.
Cosmin who I dealt with whilst undertaking the quote, and then the subsequent booking, was very responsive, polite and helpful. I have a school zone on my road and therefore restricted access, and Cosmin made sure the removal team were there early, so that there were no risks of delay.
The team arrived early and did their survey and got straight on with the loading... As I am going into storage for a short while, I had a specific need for items to go into the storage unit, so I can get access, and the team made sure that they complied with this requirement.
They took grat care with protecting the bed/mattress and sofas/chairs, and ensured that fragile and delicate items were taken care of accordingly.
The team loaded and unloaded with care and respect and checked that I was happy with this.
Altogether this was a very well managed and delivered removal, and I am delighted with the service provided.

A dreadful experience - I received an email on the day of my move to advise they would not be turning up due to a logistical issue. Incredibly stressful morning spent trying to find an alternative removal firm on the day.

The only positive is that they issued a rapid refund on my deposit.

Avoid like the plague…!

Great friendly guys, they were very careful packaging and moving our stuff. Disassembled and reassembled everything perfectly. Helped make what is always a stressful experience better.

These guys were amazing packing the whole house in double quick time, everything safely wrapped and well stored in boxes. They worked extremely hard also with the unloading and organising everything in each room. We will most definitely be using them again when we return to our renovated house. Couldn’t have managed without them!

Moving day is always stressful, however, Beemoved ensured the whole day went smoothly without any problems or holdups. We used BeMove Removals in December 2025 and are writing to formally express our disappointment with the service we received.

Leaving aside the issue of the third van, which we were advised we might need and were told could be on standby, but ultimately was not available when required, we were extremely concerned when we were asked to leave our possessions on our front drive for a few hours until another van arrived. This was particularly frustrating as I had asked several times in advance whether a third van would be available if needed.

While we accept that we were naïve regarding the number of vans required and should have followed advice more closely, this in no way excuses the behaviour and conduct of the removal team on the day, which is our primary concern.

Apart from one young gentleman who was courteous and respectful throughout, the rest of the team’s behaviour deteriorated as the day went on. They became arrogant and rude, and showed a clear lack of care and respect for our home and belongings. As a result, we now have a chipped wooden bed, a damaged dressing table, and clothing that was mishandled despite clear instructions.

When hanging boxes ran out, I specifically asked that our clothes be wrapped flat. When I briefly left the room, I overheard laughter and a conversation in another language, and upon returning I found my husband’s shirts and our work clothes crumpled and tightly shrink-wrapped into a ball, directly contrary to my request.

Additionally, boxes clearly marked “fragile” were handled carelessly. Thrown from person to person

Most upsetting of all, £150 in cash went missing from an open box in the living room while two workers were assembling our sofa. Although I cannot prove this, as it was cash and no cameras were present, it is deeply concerning that passports and other valuables in the same box were untouched, yet the cash has disappeared. Four weeks later, the money has still not turned up.

When I initially emailed to raise these concerns, I did so without asking for compensation, a refund, or to make any claim. I acknowledged our misunderstanding regarding the number of vans required and simply wanted to provide feedback about the experience and the conduct of the team. Unfortunately, the response I received was shocking. Rather than addressing the issues raised, I felt I was blamed and criticised for raising concerns at all.

I replied to clarify that our lack of experience in estimating storage requirements does not justify rudeness, arrogance, unprofessional behaviour, damage to property, or the distress caused by missing money. While I recognise I cannot prove what happened to the cash and will have to accept the damage to our furniture, it was important to raise these matters so you are aware of the standard of behaviour displayed by those representing this company.

I am aware that others have had positive experiences with BeMove Removals, including a friend who used BeMove services and was very pleased. This is due to teams being subcontracted and that experiences vary depending on who is assigned. However, no customer should be left feeling upset, violated, or unsafe in their own new home.

We felt it was important to share this feedback directly so you are aware of the serious concerns regarding the conduct of staff that work or are sub contracted to this company.

It would be very disappointing if this review was taken down as I do have photographic evidence of the bags being shrink wrapped and the damage to the furniture.
I am also sure that I will get a response from the company stating an excuse. But to me there is no excuse for theft, rudeness and out and out violation.

If this does get taken down, I now feel so strongly that I take this further and get legal advice or involve trading standards. As I should be able to voice my views on the service that I received.

I’ve been very impressed by BeMove’s service throughout our move.

Following an online survey, they quickly provided a detailed quote - and the office was responsive to a couple of queries.

On the day before the move, the packers arrived promptly and worked carefully to pack our contents, including crockery, glassware, and pictures.

On the day of the move, a larger team rapidly packed the vans - and then unpacked into the correct rooms in our new house. Throughout, I was very impressed by the whole team’s attitude and hard work, as well as their attention to detail and the care taken with our belongings.

We’ve moved a number of times over the last fifteen years, and BeMove rates alongside the best firms we’ve used (many of which are more established and more expensive). Thank you, and highly recommended.

From the packing to the unloading at the other end of the country Matt's team were great. They took their time packing and made sure nothing was damaged. I was quite stressed so they checked on me too. I could see that my possessions were in good hands and I was able to relax. I chose this company originally because their surveyor Tom, explained exactly how they would do the move explaining why that was the best way. I thoroughly recommend them. Thanks guys.

Today was our 4th time using BeMove Removals and as always the team was very professional and fast, careful with our stuff and kind. Highly recommended!

Any move is one of the most stressful things to happen in anyone's life and BeMove Removals made mine the most traumatic move I have ever suffered.
It started off with a video walk-through of all my belongings, so the company knew exactly what was being moved and that I was not moving any furniture other than a safe which was agreed beforehand. I also paid extra as it was for the weekend and I wanted them to pack as we are a disabled household.
On the Saturday, 2 guys arrived late by an hour and a half because of "van trouble" and having done a bit of packing, left at lunchtime because they had another job!
On Sunday morning, 3 guys arrived and they simply didn't have a clue. For some reason without being told they marked boxes with entirely the wrong room, mixed up items, threw stuff in carelessly, mixed it up without asking and, as we found out later, damaged stuff. In terms of their dedication, they took 15 minute smoking breaks every half hour! As a result, it was getting later and later, and not only did they use boxes we had purchased because they ran out of boxes, but asked us for sticky tape as they had run out!
Finally, having given them the what3words location, they got lost! Purely by chance, we took a different route and spotted their van and had to guide them to our place. Oh, and as for the safe, their electric drill screwdriver started smoking and so it was left!
On what possible basis are they in business? We have now had to go through each box to try and unpack and take pictures of how they packed bleach and bathroom chemicals with clothes, shoved sentimental and delicate jewellery in so it's tangled up and broken and the list goes on. Obviously, we have photos of everything, but the point is, I was so appalled by this company that I had to share this awful experience as we now, literally pick up the pieces of our life, ruined by the most uncaring bunch of individuals ever! And finally, it says it all that they tried to get this review removed by claiming it was defamatory but it is all our lived experience backed up by photos. Thankfully, Trustpilot are brilliant and so be careful before you book with BeMove! Having seen the response, it does the firm no credit. It was clear that the packers were jumbling things up so my partner and I had to step in. Who puts a bleach bottle in with clothes? As for the safe, what professional removals company doesn't realise that a safe is fixed because it woud be a bit pointless otherwise!The self-righteous attitude of this company to any negative experience says it all - zero customer care and not even an appreciation of how awful it all has been. Any decent company would simply refund the money and look to lessons to be learnt. Bemove will not be moved!

While the move itself was ok, the issues I had would be enough to never use this company again.
It is not acceptable to lose valuable items in a relatively straight forward move.
Of course I received no help with this or the review would be different.

I regret to say my experience with this removal company was extremely disappointing. The movers who arrived were clearly inexperienced and very young, and this was evident in their approach to the job. They refused to prioritise the bulky, more difficult items and instead focused only on moving the lighter, easier pieces first. This lack of care and planning not only wasted time but also led to my wardrobe being damaged during the move.

I’ve had this wardrobe for four years, and we’ve moved several times since assembling it — never once did we have any issues until this company handled it. When I complained and asked about reassembling the wardrobe, their dismissive response was that it was “just an IKEA-style wardrobe,” as if that excused the damage or their responsibility.

Moving is stressful enough without having to deal with careless handling, damaged furniture, and poor customer service. This company failed to demonstrate professionalism, care, or accountability, and I would strongly advise others to look elsewhere for a reliable service.
