Becky Grace Therapy  Arvostelua 

Working with Becky on my binge eating issues has been life changing. I finished therapy last year and have been meaning to write this review but life has been testing my resolve a lot; still, during hard times I have not relapsed into my worst habits and I credit that to Becky. Having someone to hold me accountable and also listen to me has been invaluable.

I would recommend Becky to anyone, especially those dealing with eating disorders and/or traumatic memories.
I was told by a Doctor that my eating disorder fits into the ARFID category but the NHS do not treat this in adults. After countless hours of research I found Becky, one of the few licensed therapists offering therapy for adults with ARFID. We worked at my pace and I never felt rushed or like I wasn’t making enough progress. Me and Becky built an incredible relationship of trust and I was eventually able to work on my trauma with Becky, hand in hand this helped resolve some of the most debilitating factors of my ARFID. I was lucky enough to be part of one of the first groups to try EMDR therapy with Becky. As someone who had lost an awful lot of memories from the time of the trauma, EMDR helped me slowly and carefully bring back and process difficult memories so they no longer affected me. Even though I do understand how EMDR works it still feels like it works like magic. There was one pivotal session for me that just made everything click and I suddenly felt no negative emotions towards my previously debilitating memories.
I can’t thank Becky enough for everything she has done for me and knowing I still have her as contact is extremely comforting when times get tough.

I had 24 sessions with Becky of an hour long each time following my late diagnosis with Autism and cADHD. My last one was this week and so that it what I have used as my date for review - it wasn't a one off.
I have absolutely no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Becky to others looking for help, counselling, or anything of that nature as she is brilliant.
I felt at ease from the first session and Becky's background as a mental health nurse really shone through in our interactions. She gave me time to talk and open up about things I've never discussed before - nor thought I would.
I felt safe and in a confidential environment with her and we held the sessions over remote connection rather than face to face due to where we both live.
My goals for the sessions were looked at during the early stages and tweaked/updated as we went along to keep focussed. I had the opportunity to get anything that was affecting me at that exact moment handled at the start to allow for a positive rest of session.
I cried a lot at the start which was a lot of long held emotional 'baggage' being unloaded - obviously emotional dysregulation is all part of AuDHD so I knew it was perfectly ok too. I also had a lot of positive upbeat moments too especially when I was learning about what things I could let go and others I could live with happily because I could understand them better and the underlying reasons.
I could go on for pages, just know she is brilliant and you won't regret getting in touch with her.

I had 16 sessions with Becky and would recommend her highly. I sought help for social anxiety but our sessions were wide reaching in terms of the topics that were covered. Becky is very capable, intelligent, knowledgeable and delivers her sessions with kindness and attention to detail. I found the work that we did together to be life changing and I'm very grateful to her.

I worked with Becky for 16 sessions, and the experience has been truly transformative. When I first came to her, I was struggling with low self-esteem, past trauma, and overwhelming anxious thoughts. Becky provided a safe, non-judgmental space where I could explore these issues, and her approach was both compassionate and highly effective. She helped me develop real tools to manage my anxiety and guided me in healing past wounds that I had not yet tried to come to terms with or accept. The progress I've made feels invaluable—I'm more confident, calmer, and much more in control of my life. I couldn't recommend Becky more highly for anyone seeking deep, meaningful change.
