Scammed whilst trying to use an app, asked for £1 which i disputed then they took 39.99 for WHAT. This needs closing down, its a complete scam. Banks seem to know but nothing is done to stop this fraud.

Whilst trying to download a parking app in a bit of a hurry as coin machine wasn't working. I hadn't realised that this scumbag firm had somehow created a pop up at the bottom of the page, with a request for £1, which I thought referred to the parking app. I contacted my bank and was advised to cancel my debit card, very inconvenient.
Hope they rot in hell!!!!!

Got scammed by this company a couple of months ago. My bank were great and refunded the money immediately putting a permanent block on the company taking any further money. For the last 2 months each request from them has been declined by my bank. However I just noticed that last night £39.99 came out of my account again. I have just spoken to my bank who said the company that are taking the money have put one extra letter in their name therefore bypassing the bank's blocking system. Fortunately we have been able to change my card details online so they will no longer have access whatever name they use. If anyone else has asked their bank to block the company please check your bank account regularly as they are clearly getting around the banking system.

Están intentando cobrar 39,99 €, el banco bloqueó el pago y me avisó. Primero cobraron 1 € y luego intentaron los 39,99 citados. A los tres días insisten en los 39,99 y como no les autorizan en cobro, pasan otro de 3 € a los 15 minutos.

He tenido que cancelar la tarjeta VISA.

De esta pseudo entidad, no tenía ninguna referencia, ni he tenido nunca contacto con ellos. No hay un email donde reclamar. Solo queda anular la tarjeta y denuncia en la policia

My sister got a notification saying thanks for your donations to bechef she has not signed up for this app as she had just signed up fir temu she now has £39.99 taken out her account we have to ring bank and everything

No recollection of clicking on this bechef, did NOT enter any of my card details, have no idea what I am supposed to have signed up for or what I get for my £39.99.Have tried phoning, but, like everyone else who has been scammed, no reply. I don't know why this company are getting away with this blatant theft of innocent peoples money.

Exactly the same as other people on here, scammed when using a QR code, in a hurry and stupidly put my payment details in. Noticed the took £1 from my account, then 1p when I tried to stop it. Then £39.99 - contacted my bank fraud dept who have stopped/blocked etc the payments. Just reviewed my bank account and they are still trying to claim payment with the third slightly modified business name! Fraud dept have been brilliant but pretty sure my only option to stop them will be to cancel my bank account!

I was caught out by Bechef.club whilst setting up a selling account on Ebay. I had a popup from my bank to verify my account. Ebay did this legitimately and deducted a penny. A second popup appeared straight after asking the same thing but with £1 to be deducted. Both popups were identical. Seems the second one was the scam. I have now had £39.99 taken from my bank account. Endless calls to my bank to no avail. I went onto Bechef's website and online chat only to be advised that they were extremely busy and gave a phone number to call. Same response to the phone call, extremely busy, call back later. I emailed the company to express my disgust at the way they have scammed people and this is there response.........Thank you very much for contacting customer support.

TOTAL SCAM! In a hurry, I accidentally clicked on their ad thinking the restaurant QR code had taken me straight to their own website. Unfortunately the bechef ad popped up and I stupidly fell for it and gave my details thinking I was setting up payment to the restaurant. Now unable to stop payments or cancel bechef subscription. Very difficult to find the correct email address to send the cancellation to. Absolutely disgusting set up. AVOID! I used this address to contact them, obviously use @ not at. supportatbechef.club

UPDATE : Email received within 36 hours confirming cancellation of my subscription. I hope that's the last I hear of them. 🤞

Who are these people? How can they be allowed to take money from an account without being authorised?

Scammers. Fraudulently obtained our card details & subsequently money from our account. They seem to be well known for it by all the reviews but no banks or police doing anything about it?

Another scam attempt. £1 on credit card then £39.99 a few days later. Phoned bank who have blocked them from my credit card account but i have to wait now till they send a new card in a few days. Beware bechef.

Scammed by these people while trying to open an EV charging account. The ad sprang up as an irritant and somehow managed to capture my email and credit card details - sharp practice and should be illegal. Payment for 1p to verify my account and then £1 for their 5 day trial followed by large monthly payments. Caused a lot of hassle securing my account.

Scammed by this 'organisation'. In a rush to pay for parking at hospital, I accidentally clicked on their ad on the app. Fortunately my bank are on it but like everyone else has said it's b...y inconvenient.

Scammed by BeChef whilst trying to pay for parking on 02/06/24 for £1 and another transaction for £00.01p realised straight away that something wasn’t right cancelled my card and spoke to the fraud team at the Halifax who blocked future payments to BeChef. Saturday 08/06/24 BeChef have tried taking £39.99 but blocked by the bank.. To be on the safe side I had already transferred all my money out except for 25p and have had to wait for a new card and move all my direct debits… I called this poor excuse for a company and they called back a few days later I told the lady that they were scammers and that they’d inconvenienced me and that they wouldn’t be getting any more money by scamming my account but still they tried. Basically the banks know the account details and the registered address so they should be closing the account down and contacting the police who should be dealing with this crime. Please be careful this is a very sly scam.

Scammers! Like other people here, I was using a totally unrelated website when Bechef took 1p from my credit card. Was concerned that further payments could be taken. Managed to cancel “subscription “ and insisted on a refund. Reported to credit card company and Action Fraud.

They are scammers. Took £1 via their pop up whilst I was reviewing a genuine company, then another £39.99 a few days later. Luckily I paid on Barclaycard, they've blocked future transactions and are refunding my money. Advice... check yoir statements and don't pay on a Debit Card.
