Bargain Chemist Arvostelua 8 665

Purchased this for my wife who planned to travel to Sri Lanka so she could continue to use her vitamin/ supplements. Sad to see that Bargain Chemist sent away almost expired items (all 3 packs). All of the products 180 tablets expires in December 2024 (purchased in mid November 2024 and delivered in end of Nov 2024). Now the plan is to consume 6 tablets per day so we can use these purchased items before they expire. Useless!!

Went to bargain chemist Rangiora today what a rude arrogant lady I stated that I wouldn’t pay the price that the product scanned at as I thought it was on special she then said fine but I wouldn’t find it cheaper anywhere else no offer of can we have a look for something else just very rude will never go back to that shop again and will be letting all my friends and family know not to shop at that chemist very disappointed 🤬😡

Found the staff belligerent & unhelpful..some delay in opening. They spoke only through glass; would not open the door. 1 hour after the supposed opening time still no info& no opening. Everyone has mishaps but a little information won't go amiss
Whangaparoa missed out on selling some expensive skin care & I found a lovely, efficient, friendly, helpful Pharmacy down the road who met my needs cheerfully

Overall good service. Product selection is decent but the prices are still higher than competitor's. The Staff are very friendly, the place is clean and the real bargains are found in-store offline like hand sanitizer and 2 for 1 shampoos and some nice unicorn body scrub. Great locations too. All over the City and smaller parts of the outskirts of Canterbury

Little communication from the initial order, sent an email inquiry which was not responded to at all - though product arrived a few days later

5 days after placing my order i received and email to say 4 out of the 5 items i payed for they dont have so refunding me, day 6 get email to say my item is shipped, this is a joke, thought i would support nz owned but after this experience i will continue shopping with chemist warehouse which are 1000% better.

My order was delayed because they didn't have one product I ordered. They shouldn't sell things they don't have in stock. These days inventories are all computerized, so there is no excuse for such shoddy stock control & retailing of their products.

I made my order on a Friday, didn’t receive my order till the following Friday.
It actually took the same length of time to get a purchase arrive from Australia.

Apon returning on the day i was advised that a supervisor would there so i could return a faulty product, i was then told they had left for the day & to return on another (once again). Dealing with "C", who whilst in the ph to her manager said right infront of myself "i doubt she would have been told to come in today"? Calling me a liar in other words? Then asking her to inform the manager that she had infact put her ungloved finger into the face cream, she refuse to even acknowledg me, so i asked for signed confirmation from her that she had fingered the cream, this she also would not do. Apon returning from finding a more mature staff member who could at least witness the goings on, she was quikly on the ph to security, falsifing the situation, knowing what she had wrong & this was her way not to be caught out. Feeling disrespected & degraded after her first comment then to have her make the situation into something it hadn't beem was absolutely frustrating. Tbh there was no need for her to butt in, as i was being served already by a very polite young man who was handling things whilst showimg the upmost respect. Won't be shopping there in the future & as for Miss C, i recommend maybe getting off that high horse, obtaining some customer service training or enter into a new profession!! Appallingly to say the least!

Took 6 days to get them to deliver my items and no update totally useless

It was so wonderful to get it delivered by Uber in less than 45 minutes. I couldn't believe it. The prices were good too,

First time ordering from Bargain Chemist. Order arrived quickly however one of the two items sent was not what I ordered. After phoning 0800 number was advised to send email with photos. They were very helpful and sent out the correct order within a day or two. Service was good but person pick/packing the items, not so much.

This was my first purchase and won't be returning. The online team got one of my items wrong and when I emailed them they needed photos as proof then took over 3 days to reply and instead of sending out the right item (which I needed asap) they not only didn't respond but sent through a refund which means I would have to spend more money to repurchase and pay for shipping twice. Prefer chemist warehouse, I've never had an issue with them. There's a reason these guys are cheap.

1st purchase for me and 100% happy with the service. Received my full order two days after order was placed and that was for a Christchurch to Auckland delivery. My five items were all a little bit cheaper than Chemist Warehouse as well!

I waited two weeks after confirmation of order, then had to email customer service. They said I needed to talk to a pharmacist about a product (which the website said would happen within 72 hours) and I could call them to speed up the process. There was no apology for lateness or lack of contact and I would still have to wait for shipping so I cancelled the order. Hope the refund comes through quickly!
