I ordered a dress on 9/5 for my mother’s funeral. I paid extra for priority shipping 3-5 days. I got a notice FOUR DAYS later that they had created a shipping label. It’s still sitting somewhere out in Utah. Obviously it won’t be arriving in time. I wrote the company to see if I could get my shipping reimbursed, and no one ever responded.

I was trying to support small business, but I should’ve trusted all of the online reviews that report how terrible the customer service is, and not left such an important thing to the fate of an instagram company.

RUN! This had been by far one of the worst experiences I have had purchasing dresses in the last several years. I cannot believe how archaic and terrible their return policy, return timelines, and customer service is. It is frankly embarrassing for this day and age. The cost is already way too high for the quality of their dresses but since they are cute and unique it would almost be worth it until you factor in all of the chaos involved in the ordering/return process and their horrifying customer service, it’s not even close to being worth it. They will rip you off for several hundreds of dollars if you try to return something, it is truly insanity.

I ordered a dress and according to website it claims “easy returns”. I tried on the dress immediately and realized while the waist fit perfectly, the top was overly large and would require extensive alterations to fit. However, the material is cheap polyester and it would likely be a very expensive fix. Of course their “easy returns” is nonsense and they only give store credit. Claiming “easy returns” and then only offering credit is dishonest. Cheap materials, long ship time, and dishonest practices.

Package went missing before courier DHL received it and customer service won’t help said I had to deal with DHL but DHL will only talk to the shipper. Baltic Born must know that and just sent me on a wild goose chase. They also said I need to wait 14 days probably to make it harder for me to refuse payment.

Buyer beware. Bought a dress online, and purchased the $5 return protection. It was a lovely dress but not my style. Went to return and despite my package protection, I still had to pay an additional $10 handling fee. That is unacceptable. Won’t be shopping here again.

The dress I ordered was not the correct color. I started the return policy as instructed however they would only give me store credit. They got their item back and got to keep my money. Absolutely outrageous! This store is a ripoff! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS WEBSITE! You will not get the quality item you shopped for and they get to keep your money!!!!! SCAMMERS!!

My experience with this company was stressful. I ordered two dresses and paid $35 extra for expedited shipping and another approximately $5.00 for return shipping because I knew I would not be keeping both dresses. The order was not expedited. Arrived too late for the event. When I started the return process I couldn’t return without downloading their app. ( They make it very easy to order without the application). It said they would charge $10 to restock! And they said one of the dresses was final sale so no refund. I was in a hurry when I ordered maybe ‘final sale’ was clearly marked but I didn’t see it. I do remember it was listed as being on sale. I couldn’t find a way to talk to a human. Everything was with messaging. By the time it was all over I was out the approximately $60 for the final sale dress. I found their billing and refund statement very opaque and can’t tell from their communications what exactly was refunded. I just have to go by my credit card statement. I waited for the refund then promptly deleted their application and all communications with/from them. I never want to deal with them again.

They lied on their webpage. Material says rayon but all I got was polyester. The dresses are NOT worth the price. Returns are horrible. Takes forever to find return page and they aggressively offer store credit, when you return it they charge $20.

I visited the Baltic Born showroom to try on a few dresses for an upcoming event. I tried each dress on for only a few minutes before deciding on one and returned the rest. I never left the store with the returned dresses.

Afterward, I was informed that the dresses allegedly had “body odor” and, based on that determination, I would no longer be allowed to purchase and return items from Baltic Born in the future. Funny how the dress I kept has no odor on it but the other three allegedly do.

This was so strange of a stance for a company to take. I do not smoke or have pets. I wasn’t wearing perfume, hair products or makeup. I was wearing deodorant but didn’t leave any markings. I’m a clean person and have never been told I left body odor on clothing or been prohibited from shopping with a retailer for this reason. If they won’t return clothes that people try on, then their policy should state that you can’t try it on.

I am sharing my experience because I believe future customers should be aware of this policy. You may be banned from ever returning anything from Baltic Born if you try on their clothes —even briefly in their showroom. I tried to return the other one and they won’t let me.

Terrible company. They are almost a scam because of their awful return policy. I thought their dresses were so cute but nothing fit me because they were all way too long. I have almost $250 credit they're going to keep the money on. What an evil corporation plotting their way along.

Their website does say that you cannot get your money back under any circumstances, so that's partly on me for not digging enough. But the "easy free returns!" message that comes up when you check out was kind of deceptive... I ordered a dress that arrived with a broken sleeve, and there's no way to get refunded for the purchase. I got stuck requesting store credit at a place I don't want to shop at.

I did ultimately return the damaged dress for credit and tried another order. I went with one of the few dresses on the site that has a ton of positive reviews to maximize the odds that it would work out (most of their stuff has few or no reviews). Ordered it in red, it came dark brown. I didn't even bother trying to return it for store credit this time. Just ate the cost and donated it. I would definitely skip Baltic Born – the quality is way too low to risk it when they don't offer refunds.

Product description said fabric has no stretch, but the waist is completely elastic. Because of this, I ordered the wrong size and the return process is a nightmare. THEIR email said eligible for returns for 30 days, it just conveniently left out the part that says for store credit only after 15 days. Also wanted to charge me $20 to get refunded to my visa card for a different purchase, and that's AFTER paying extra for free returns up front. The dress itself seemed nice enough, but I would not ever recommend this company

Baltic only applies to Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia, although only Latvia and Lithuania are truly Baltic. Denmark may belong to the Council of the Baltic Sea States, it is not ethnically Baltic in language or culture, therefore this company has misappropriated a cultural identity. And the Baltic religions do not include Mormonism. Being Danish does not make you "Baltic Born".

I normally never leave a review but I would not buy from Baltic Born. Very disappointed in their clothing due to sizing issues and customer service. Their Return policy is terrible and somewhat of a scam. Please be aware that you may not be able to return or exchange an item!

I will not be a return customer for Baltic born. The dress arrived and it was shabby, ugly, and scratchy. There is no way to return items to them for a full refund and the customer must pay for the shipping on the return. Horrible experience with this poorly run company.

After many years of terrible experiences with Baltic Born I am throwing in the towel on ever shopping there again. Their policies are ridiculous - no refunds, only store credit, and then the credit expires. No help if your shipment never comes until you spend money on scammy shipment insurance. PLUS the real problem here is that the sizing is so unpredictable and weird, so returns are inevitable.

When I ordered a couple dresses, I realized after he order submitted that they had charged me automatically for a five dollar shipping insurance that I never agreed to wanting nor did I opt in for. When I emailed customer service They said there’s nothing they can do and denied it being automatically added and I told them that that is not good business that they should allow us to opt if we want it and not have it hidden in a way they add it without us knowing. They didn’t really care about my complaint. They said basically too bad there’s nothing we can do.

I ordered the Marine Mock Maxi dress and the Katherine Maxi dress online.
The dresses came quickly and they fit perfectly! I am extremely impressed with fit and quality!
